    Tax Defense Network helped me set up payments with the IRS for back taxes. In the amount that they charged me they included a fee to do my 2024 taxes. They never reached out to me too do my taxes. I reached out tip them and they said they would send me a packet. I never received anything in the mail. I told them I was anticipating a return and wanted that applied to the balance that I owed to the IRS before they contacted the IRS on my behalf. That never happened and I went ahead and completed my 2024 taxes throughout Turbo Tax. I reached out to Tax Defense again and I was told they received authorization to refund me for paying for my own taxes. To date I have not received the refund. I have reached out to them multiple times by email, phone call, text. I was told the money would be refunded again then they stopped responding to my calls and texts. They continue to withdraw money on a weekly bases for the fees they charged me to help me set up payments with the IRS. At no point did they ever negotiate with the IRS to lower my taxes. I'm requesting they refund me for $237.27. If Tax Defense charged me more to do my taxes then I am requesting they reimburse me for that amount as well.

    I retained tax resolution services from Tax Defense Network in October of 2024 to resolve an issue on my behalf with the IRS. Since then, no meaningful work has been done and my case remains unresolved. I have been charged $3,500 for these services, of which approximately $2,500 has been paid in the form of monthly recurring payments. I am seeking assistance in recouping the funds that I have paid since it has been well over 6 months and no work has been done to move my case forward despite multiple attempts to contact this company.

    Tax Defense Network was suppose to help lower some of the penalties and fees that I owe the IRS and State. What we ended up with was the state garnishing my husbands pay checks and with the IRS they were just trying to set up a payment plan. I told them that I felt like they screwed us over and that I was wasting my money by paying them, when I could have called the State and IRS myself and made a payment plan. On April 22nd I spoke to a lady who told me they would refund money back and that I would be receiving a phone call with in 48hrs. I never received the phone call, and I have left 2 messages on April 28th and 29th. I want a phone call or email telling me when my money will be refunded.

    DATE OF TRANSACTION: APRIL 2022 IN THE AMOUNT $4850.00. THIS COMPANY WAS SUPPOSE TO WORK OUT A PAYMENT PLAN WITH THE IRS FOR BACK TAXES OWED. I HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE RUN AROUND AND I AM FED UP. IN THREE YEARS THIS COMPANY HAS NOT DONE ANYTHING TO GET MY CASE TAKEN CARE OF. I AM FRUSTRATED AND UPSET THAT THIS COMPANY TAKES ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE, FEEDING US LIES ABOUT THERE REPUTATION ON WORKING WITH THE IRS. I DID NOT HEAR FROM HER SO I GAVE IT A FEW DAYS CALLED BACK AND WAS TOLD SHE WAS NOT IN AND SHE WOULD CALL ME BACK. SO I GET A CALL MONDAY APRIL 28 FROM ********* ***** WHO ADVISED ME THAT ******* WAS NO LONGER WITH THE COMPANY AND HE WAS ASSIGNED MY CASE. I TOLD HIM TO LOOK IN THE FILE AND HE SAID THERE IS NOTHING IN YOUR FILE THAT IS WHY YOUR CASE IS NOT BEING WORKED ON.     I am still getting no response.  They set up a meeting for 5/15 and they did not reach out to me like they said.  I was the one who reached out to them today 5/16.  They continue to lie and are not doing anything to move forward with my case.  I believe I deserve a full refund for 3 years of stress .  They are saying that they requested documents and I never sent them.  That us incorrect I have sent all documents requested.  They ask for the same documents every 3 months because nobody works on my case and then the IRS is requests new documents.  Please help me no consumer should have to endure the stress this company has caused us.

    I have been waiting to have a meeting with Tax Defense?  They set it up and then never call me.  I want my money back so I can move forward with working with the IRS myself.  With the money paid to them I can use to Pay some of my debt to the IRS.  It has a frustrating few years and they keep playing games saying they are going to get this resolved timely.  I need you help to get this resolved they just keep jerking me along saying they are going to do what they were paid for and I get emails but no phone call to go over my paperwork to get this moving along.  Please help I feel stuck and taken advantage of.

    Made an initial payment of 1,150 and then 375 a month until total due amount of 4,150 was made. First I work with ****** phone# ************** and then ******* phone# **************. I’ve even contacted Tax Defense thru their website and after the initial answer, I was transferred to a different department and was prompted to leave a message. No one is responding to any messages I have left and txts

    I called Tax Defense Network on Thursday April, 17, 2025 and spoke with special agent, **** ******. He and I discussed the service and I signed up for assistance that day and paid $300. After speaking with my husband that night we decided to go another route and cancel their services. The next morning, April 18, 2025, I called Tax Defense Network where I was transferred twice to only receive a voicemail to request cancellation. I also sent an Email to [email protected], as requested for cancellations in the contract I signed. On Monday of this week, April 21, 2025, I received a call from **** ******, where he tried to convince me to continue services and I declined. He assured me that he was sending a notice to have my service cancelled. As stated on the call with **** on Monday, according to the contract I signed through docusign on April 17, 2025, I had 3 days to cancel the contract with Tax Defense Network and request a full refund. I called and emailed to cancel the services the next day on Friday April 18, 2025, only one day following our initial conversation and sign up.

    I’m highly upset, because not only did I receive a call from someone at Tax Defense Network yesterday (April 23, 2025) to "set up information for IRS" I was also drafted from my account again today ($300.00), on April 24, 2025. I was clear during my call on Monday that I wanted this service cancelled and that I had arranged something on my own and no longer need Tax Defense Network’s assistance. This is exactly what I feared when signing up with this company.

    I simply would like my contract cancelled, which I was well within the 3 days to cancel, and receive a full refund of now $600 collectively drafted from my account as of this morning. And I would like my banking info deleted from their system. I do not want anything to do with this company. Im beginning to suspect fraudulent activities as they seem to not care about honoring my wishes to terminate the contract.

    I hired the Tax Defense Network to work on back taxes for years 2021 and 2022. I asked them to notify the IRS that I had hired them to stop any action from the IRS to collect on the back taxes as I believe the IRS was in error. They have done nothing since I hired them in October of 2024 and I have paid over $5,400 to date and they still want to charge another $1,300. I have sent paperwork in multiple times when asked (they keep "losing" my paperwork or saying they didn't get it when I have the email proof it was sent), they have scheduled appointments and not show up, I have scheduled appointments and they have not shown up.

    In April of 24 I sent all of my tax returns from 2021 through 2023. After waiting numerous months I reached out again and was asked to fill out more information. That repeat repeated all the way through January 2025. I was informed that the person working with all of my tax information no longer works for them and the company has no idea where any of my information is or what the status is with all of my tax information. I paid over $5000 to have someone help me out with back taxes and I have received nothing but bills, no help, and questions. I lost years of personal information and I do not know how I will get that back. The individual who was in charge of my information is named ***** *****. I don't know what to do, but my personal information is gone and no one will help me. I'm still paying a monthly stipend so I could spread out the burden of what I owed.

    On 3/11/25 My husband and myself signed paperwork to get assistance with our $23k *** debt because the tax advisor stated that he was confident they could settle our debt for pennies on the dollar after giving him all of our income and debt information. He stated the amount of the services in which we also told him we could not afford. He went on to state that he "may get in trouble for this" but offered a finance option which we were approved for at 26% interest. I questioned him how this would benefit us, to which his response was he was "100% confident" the program would pay for itself because we would end up in a payment arrangement with the *** for 10 years at an amount we can afford and then at the end of that 10 years the remainder we owe the *** would be "written off". This convinces us ti sign and pay the insanely high fee. On April 1st we finally received an email from our assigned advisor **** ******* who stated he spoke to an *** agent that provided him with the amount we owe for 2021 but that the agent he spoke with could not provide him with what we owe for 2024 (all information I had already provided him with, so this call was a useless service as we know what we owe) he went on to go over several proposed options such as a payment plan that I could have proposed with the *** myself for free! Along with other options like a offer in compromise that requires a 6 page fincial statement offering no help to complete the form, just to complete it and return it to him before 5/01/25 as thus is the hold he was supposed allowed by the ***. I asked him to please call me after 6pm central time as I had questions, to which he replied his business hours ar 9-5pm, hours in which my husband and I work, yet he had originally told me to call his cell phone any time and he would return our calls in a timely manner, but now there is a time frame. I would like to cancel my services and have ach transactions canceled, and just make *** payment arrangements myself!

I now feel confident in my decision of hiring the tax defense network and realize that my complaint was made prematurely and without all the facts that I needed that I now have after speaking with ****.

    I was getting harassed for payment failed. After getting confirmation from my bank that Payment went through successfully of $330 on March 29. The representative from your finance department ******* kept telling me that your company was supposed to pay the loan off and I was supposed to pay you a monthly payment for loan $2,970 payment is $193.76 first payment 4/15/2025.. Why is your Tax Defense Network finance department calling me to tell me Tax Defense Network failed to pay the loan upfront that I was approved for and then I pay Tax Defense Network the Monthly payment. She couldn’t even tell me at first what she was calling for. She said your payment didn’t go through how do you want to pay. That is ridiculous. As you can see she called Wednesday and Friday and today April 7. Then she says oh I see the payment but you still need to pay. That is a red flag for me. I was uncomfortable moving forward. Then was told sorry no refunds. It’s past 3 days. This is absurd. You provided me no service just worry and regret. I will be sending this via email of submission of complaint to BBB to **********************************
