On Jan 16, 2023 I purchased a ***(Transmission Control Module) rebuild for my 2010 ***** 3. I shipped the part to All Computer Resources for the work. The *** was returned on Jan 24, 2023. The first thing I noticed was the unit came back in the same physical appearance as when it left me (very dirty from 13 years under the hood). On their ******** page, they show the supposed steps they take during a rebuild, one of which is sand blasting the outside of the unit to make it look new. Mine came back looking very old. I then followed their installation instructions. When I turned the ignition on, the same warning lights were on as before, and the car exhibited the same problems as before the "rebuild" service. I then contacted their tech person, and he wanted some pics of the connection link between car and ***, which I provided. I was then emailed the "warrantee", with a note saying I was welcome to send my *** back to them, but it would take 2-3 weeks(without the use of my car again!), they would charge me an additional $50, and in their judgment, they rarely make mistakes the first time so it is unlikely that it is their fault!!Initial Complaint

The product (an automotive powertrain control module) was ordered and then delivered on November 15th. The original product was faulty upon arrival and I immediately reached out to the seller over email to get it resolved. The seller requested I send the product back for inspection. It was found to be faulty and a replacement was issued. This process took almost a month and the replacement was delivered on December 8th. The replacement product, after installed, exhibited the exact same problem. After days of my diagnosis and over $300 of extra parts, and threatening to escalate the issue to PayPal, the company agreed to either send another replacement or issue a refund. To be absolutely sure that their product was the issue, I had an independent automotive shop do a third party investigation. Due to current labor and supply shortages, it took them longer than expected to diagnose the issue. I was informed by them today, January 17th, that the seller's product is the culprit.I requested the previously mentioned refund to the seller at this time and was told that due to it being outside of the refund date, nothing could be done. This issue has caused me to be without a functioning vehicle for over two months now and has cost me countless amounts of money in transporting myself.I will be attaching the full email chain between the seller and I to this dispute. The automotive shop is currently drafting proof to me that I can provide tomorrow, January 18th.Business Response

Although the order was undoubtedly outside of the return time frame we offered the customer several options and he has agreed to return the module to our facility for a partial refund. We are currently awaiting the module and will issue a refund promptly after received.Customer Answer

I spent $340 dollars on a computer from this company. The package was lost during delivery as it was supposed to arrive at my business in ******* ** however tracking number indicated that the package was delivered to HIGHLAND LAKES **. The company is claiming that they cant do anything until the investigation is over. This is no way to conduct business. Why am I being kept in between of an issue between the company and **** They need to handle it on their own and either issue me a refund or a replacement computer (which they are refusing to do both). When contacting the company, I get the same response of there is nothing we can do until the investigation is closed. The sales person on the phone couldnt even transfer me directly to the supervisor. Every time I told him that that wasnt acceptable, he kept getting up and walking into the supervisors office. It was like a game of telephone when I asked him why I couldnt just speak to the supervisor directly, he stated that the supervisor did not have a direct line. In what world and in what type of business does a supervisor not have a phone?Initial Complaint

On 10/26/21 i bought a PCM( power control module) for my 04 jeep grand cherokee from ACR, ( ALL COMPUTER RESOURCES.) Well i paid $234 for the part and $55 for next day air shipping. It was supposed to be delivered within 3 days but i didnt recieve it until 3 weeks. But thats not why im contacting.. about a month ago my jeep broke down while i was at the store and had to pay for a tow home. I thoroughly checked all the wires and purchased new parts that could be causing the issue, but it still wont start. So it turns out that my PCM failed. I purchased an ECU for a Jeep Wrangler from All Computers in 2021. The original unit sent was faulty (per them) and the result was it kept the ** compressor on all the time ultimately destroying resulting in a $600+ repair that they refused to cover. They then charged me shipping to return the unit for a replacement which was also faulty. They then replaced is with another unit that was also faulty. I'm now on the 4th cycle of this. They haggle each time to try and get out of it, This situation has cost me thousands in repair fees, loss of vehicle use, etc. They continually insist on charging me to ship me a new unit. Stay away from these crooks as they have no business ethics whatsoever.Initial Complaint

On April 22 2022 i purchased their skim delete service for my chrysler, after damaging the transponder beyond repair this happened in November 2021, now I had purchased the current pcm from ACR roughly a year and half prior and at that time found them to be an excellent business to deal with, the original purchase went smooth, any questions I had were promptly answered and I only had good things to say about this business, so now faced with this new issue and coming back to their website to find they offer a skim delete I was all in. Anyway so after ordering this service and based on what I read on the website I thought they would be sending me a prepaid shipping label but after the purchase all I recieved was my invoice, so I emailed support to find out what the deal is and this was the start of my ongoing problems, the email gets answered by some automatic email robot that tells you duplicate emails only push you to the back of the line, I thought that was horseshit and more an empty threat to keep frustrated people like myself from bombing their inbox, anyways over about a 2 week period I tried daily to get in touch with someone other than zendesk the electronicly challenged mail robot, one day I got a reply from a person and they apologized for the delay and they would be happy to help moving forward, except that's as far as it went with them, I asked about shipping and the prepaid label and got no reply from that person ever again, I finally sent an email to the sales department and got a reply, on May 16 2022 someone finally emailed back, explained the free shipping option was only 4 the lower 48 states (I'm in ******) long story short my unit was delivered aprox 6 weeks ago, haven't heard anything about it, can't get an answer from any1 other than tge auto slow adult bot telling me not to send duplicates. I need my module fixed and returned, my car has been disabled in my stall for almost a year now. Acr **************** is shit! Thanks in advanceInitial Complaint

On 9/29/22 I phone ordered a reprogrammed car computer for my **** ****** Highlander. I provided the car's *** number, the symptoms I had experienced, and photos of my existing computer. I was told that the new (to me) unit would come programmed specifically for my car's *** number. FYI, the *** number on the engine plate matches the *** number on the car body. When I received the computer at 5:30 PM 10/6 I immediately installed it per the website instructions. The car would crank over but would not fire and run. I submitted a support ticket via two methods and received the same troubleshooting instructions twice. I followed these instructions which mimicked the original installation instructions however it would still not start. After informing ACR about this I have received no further instructions.I paid $317.00 for a computer that's supposed to be specific to my vehicle yet it is useless to me. Upon looking at the return rules I am now expected to pay a 20% restocking fee if I want a refund. In my opinion, they have done nothing to have had a loss of this magnitude other than their shipping which they claim is free (part of the purchase price). If they believe that they can provide a computer that will at bare minimum start my car, I'd rather have that than a refund. Obviously, what I currently have does me no good whatsoever.I have since reinstalled my computer and the car starts right up. I have to use it with it's shifting problems for an ***** mile trip that will require me to shut the car off and back on again each time it refuses to shift into high gear. I'll be home again on Oct 18th. I am available at my cell phone number which everyone involved is privy to. In the meantime I have file a dispute to the $317 charge with my bank card holder.Respectfully submitted,***********************
