    We are extremely disappointed with our repeated attempts to schedule a repair. In September our home watch contractor discovered a problem with the roll up fabric shutter covering our front door and foyer windows. The shutter cannot be opened and as a result there is no access into the front of the house which creates a number of problems for service providers and visitors. It is a very large area; with the shutter about 24' tall and 9 or 10 feet wide. We were given an appointment in late October, about 5 weeks after the initial call. On the date of our inspection we were notified that the assigned tech called out sick and would need to be rescheduled....4 weeks later. The cancellation occurred through no fault of ours we yet had to wait another month. On the next scheduled date the tech arrived at our community. We have three (3) entry gates...one was under construction and the other two were open. The tech arrived at the gate that was under construction, and closed, and left the property. By the time we discovered what happened the tech was already on his way back to Fort Meyers and could not be turned around. We were again told the next appointment would be in another 4 weeks. Finally on the date of the appointment, about 13 weeks after the initial call the assigned tech reported he could not do the repair. 'Something was wrong with gears.' I called the scheduler to complain and initially she* said March for repair, then corrected the next projected service date to the end of January. She also she would report our case to her supervisor. She did give me the name and telephone extension of the supervisor. * I have the names of Scheduler and Supervisor but have chosen not to identify them in this message. I called the Supervisor 4 X over 8 days and left Voice Mails. There was no return call. My home watch called another contractor, they showed up, did the repair and all is now good....Without any help from Storm Smart. I have more but no capacity here. Joe *

    I had the auto screen system put in 4 years ago and need service. I have been waiting for months, 5 to be exact, thats after many emails and calls. The only thing she could tell me is "sorry we need help thats the best we can do"... DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. What am I suppose to do for service. If you want to purchase something they will come running, after that GOOD LUCK!!!!

    We have had Storm Smart roll down curtains for many years. They performed magnificently during our two recent hurricanes. We recently added storm panels to beef up protection on our impact windows. Overkill?? Maybe so. But after ***, anything is worth the piece of mind. Our installer was efficient and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

    StormSmart, buyer beware!Our StormSmart hurricane curtains were damaged during Hurricane **** as 2 holes were punched through one of the 3 curtains. We contacted StormSmart to schedule a tech to come out to take a look, and was quoted $130 to have him stop over. Tech determined because of the 2 holes, the 32 foot wide curtain must be replaced, we gave approval. After several months, StormSmart arrived with replacement curtain. Upon inspection we found 2 holes in the replacement curtain. When we pushed back that we would accept the replacement curtain the installers became frustrated saying it should be no big deal since the holes would be hidden up in the roll when the curtain was up. Second replacement curtain was ordered, in the meantime we were billed $4k. Second curtain arrived in April 2023, and was installed, three weeks later we left to head north for the summer. September 2023 arrived back to our *****************, and tried to raise the curtains. This time curtain 2 jammed going up. Curtain 2 was adjusted by StormSmart techs while replacing curtain 1 that had the holes. Reached out to StormSmart on September 17 to schedule service call, was told October 17 was first available date. October 17 no techs. Called StormSmart and was told there was no record of our scheduled appointment. Reached out to service manager who told me someone from StormSmart had gone into their scheduling system on October 12 and canceled the October 17 appointment. We rescheduled another appointment for November, no one showed up. Scheduled another appointment for December 4. On November 29 I called StormSmart to confirm was told yes tech would be here on December 4. On December 4, no tech showed up. Called StormSmart was told someone would reach out to me to reschedule. Was called today by StormSmart and told they could now reschedule me for February 14, **** which is 5 months after our initial service call. StormSmart doesnt return phone calls or value their existing customers,
