  my complain is about their customer service . one of my accordeon shutters lock got stuck we closed them foe hurricane and when we tried opening it the lock was not working we did not have any hurricane damage in our area and the shutters are all in good condition just that one lock ! i called and emailed about it and it took months for someone to call back i made an appointment and waited for another month only to find out no one was coming because i didnt make an appointment . seriously !!! i emailed again and no call back finally someone came to cut the lock but didnt fix it ! i had to call back and they told me because my "warranty expired 2 days before that call" i have to pay why?? when i valled in the first place i was under warranty and when guy came yo cut open why he didnt fix it? i made another appointment for tbem to come fix it and yes ... no one showed up !! i called again and Roxane or whatever the name of the service department is said i didnt confirm the appointment !! buyer beware as this is not a cheap investment find someone else to do your hurricane home protection...

  There is no way Storm Smart should be rated A+ by BBB. The screens are fine, but their customer service is absolutely horrible.
  We have been waiting weeks for someone to call us about a problem with one of our screens. We have left multiple messages and have been promised call backs but they never happened. Their responsiveness is non existent. They should be required to disclose this when they quote on a project or outsource customer service and repairs to a 3rd party.

  My storm screen got stuck in the down position on 5/20/23 cutting off access to my pool and spa from my house. I tried to manually raise it but that wasnt working either. After calling 3 consecutive days I finally got a call back on the 5th day saying they can come on 6/9; three weeks after the malfunction! I explained if they could just send someone to raise the screen so I could have access, that would be great and you can fix it whenever. I was told I would get a call back. Two more days, no call back. In a little over two years that I have the screen, I have had them back to fix the screen coming down unevenly, the motor had to be replaced, and the screen had to be replaced because it frayed. The technicians are all nice competent people, I just dont think there is enough of them and their office service procedures are atrocious, Not the best product, and absolutely terrible service.

  The product is really great but the service is absolutely horrible. I need a replacement blind and they have cancelled the installation on me twice. When I call and ask for another appointment, they say they are so swamped and cannot give me a date but will call me back. So far, they have NEVER called me back. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service from a company that has such a great product. They should not sell what they cannot service.

  Worst company to deal with. Nothing but the run around and no response from the company. Spent 16000.00 plus and no warranty on product or service. Multiple phone calls and lies,lies and lies. Service people are so full of b.s.. company stands behind nothing. My screen system was installed in August 2022 and never worked properly. Not a company to hire for anything.

  My name is *************************** on Monday Feb 13 I had storm smart reinstall my shutters on my patio door the service technician ******************** did the work the young man was very professional and very polite he was a perfectionist in every way I would highly recommend him .   I had my hurricane shutters put in a few years back I didn't have a reason to use them for about 13 months after ...they never closed properly... I called and they told me that I would be charged for a man to come and check them out someone did come and he said they were put in incorrectly. I tried to get back in touch with the manager but to no Avail.... We're having another hurricane over the next couple of days I decided to attempt to close the shutters and it is very difficult they do not align correctly for me to lock them.... After spending thousands this is not what you should expect... I will be calling next week after this hurricane passes and hopefully I can get some professional courtesy and satisfaction
