I am not liable for the debt with ELDORADO RESORTS CORP. I do not have a contract with ELDORADO RESORTS CORP You guys need to handle this issue. I am becoming antsy waiting for Vacation Village to do what they said. They threatened me with a foreclosure and at this time I dont care what they do with the timeshare I own. There is nothing that I own except invisible resort money that can only be used for the room, which isnt available. They take your money and give you absolutely nothing in return for the money you pay. I do not want this timeshare I have no reason to pay the billing statements or answer their calls to get me to give them money. I have been attempting to contact Vacation Village since early this year. We are now almost 4 months in, and I am being ignored. All I want is to be released of my timeshare obligation. I have struggled to support my family and myself. On top of this hindrance, I have other debt that also needs to be paid. I can not afford this timeshare I haven't used it either. Dear Better Business Bureau, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with Vacation Village's customer service. I am an owner of one of their timeshares and have had a horrible experience from beginning to end. The customer service provided has been inexcusable. I am consistently met with rude and unhelpful staff who seem to have no interest in actually helping me. I have been trying to cancel my timeshare for sometime now and your staff has yet to assist me with the process. I have been paying these outrageous fees for a timeshare that's rarely been used. The customer service representative that I encountered laughed at the end of the call when I explained my situation to her. The information she provided wasn't helpful and it's offensive that she would end the call in such a way. She also told me that someone would contact me back but no one has. I am extremely dissatisfied with the poor customer service and lack of help I have received from Vacation Village. The fees associated with the timeshare are ridiculous and I would like to cancel my agreement immediately. Im having issues with my timeshare that I have with Vacation Village Resorts. Ive written letters and contacted them by phone about my concerns and me wanting to exit my timeshare. Theyve not been helpful at all and their customer service is *****. *** discussed with them how this is affecting my finances because I have this timeshare alone. Ive only used the timeshare one time but they want me to pay a mortgage and maintenance fees. I thought that the timeshare would be helpful and affordable when it comes to vacationing. The timeshare is a greedy business that only cares for money. They keep telling me that I would have to sell the timeshare and theyre nothing they can do. I dont understand how its on me to sell the timeshare when I pay maintenance and mortgage fees to your company. *** told them that my bills on a monthly basis range from $2,500-$3,000. Its pointless for me to pay for this timeshare if I cant use it. I have children that I have to take care of and I dont want this to be passed down to them. They told me that the only way out is to sell it or go into foreclosure. I dont know how long foreclosure will be but Im impatient and want this done now. We would like your assistance with exiting our timeshare ownership with Vacation Village Resorts and ************************. This timeshare ownership is nothing but a waste of money. Weve never used this timeshare since we purchased it. Weve been throwing out money down the drain with owning a timeshare and we are tired of it. When we purchased our timeshare, we weren't expecting the negative impact that its put on us. At the end of the tour, we told her we weren't interested, at which time she started to pressure us by lowering the prices several times. When she realized we werent going to give in, she had another salesmen talk us into an offer that seemed too good to pass up. He said this was a foreclosure. That's why it seemed so cheap and affordable. We were made to believe that even if we weren't able to use our week we'd be able to rent our week's stay to someone else, which ended up false. In addition, they also said when we pass away, we could will our timeshare to our children, not telling us that they would be stuck with our payments/ debt and maintenance fees, which also has increased over the years. Money has been tight to even consider a vacation locally let alone traveling to a place outside our state. The one time we tried to use it locally, they said they didn't have a resort in our state that had any accommodations. I am not sure if that will work, and it doesn't make much sense to give something to charity if I am not able to afford it myself. How is an expensive membership able to be gifted to charity but not be resold from their own business? Weve been reaching out to Vacation Villages about our ownership and requesting to be released because we cannot afford to keep this. We've been ignored and discarded by Vacation Village for a very long time, and we're sick of it. Particularly considering the amount of money we spent on this timeshare, we need to be acknowledged by this company. Ignoring your owners and failing to address their wants or complaints is extremely unprofessional. We've told them about the issues that have arisen since we bought the timeshare, but it doesn't seem to matter to them. When it comes to using our timeshare we have no interest in using it because financially its hurting us. The exchange process requires us to get another membership fee on addition to increasing maintenance fees. Weve paid our mortgage off in full in 2022. We cannot afford the maintenance fees and weve been sent to Aspen Collections for last year's fee. We told Vacation Village that we cannot afford the fee but they still sent us to Collections. My wife has health issues that have affected her to where she is now on medication. We are paying at least $2,000 a month after insurance for this. Her health is way more important than the timeshare. Were not able to travel because we are taking care of ourselves and also family members who need our help. Since we purchased it, the timeshare has been a tremendous inconvenience for us, and we no longer desire to keep it. They have been informed of this, yet they are not cooperating. I am hoping you can help me. I have been trying to get my timeshare with Vacation Villages to take my deed back from my timeshare. I have paid off my deed and even told the timeshare that I am willing to pay a reasonable fee for them to take my deed back.I dont use the timeshare. I pay out of pocket when I do vacation because the timeshare is so hard to schedule or use. I dont want to continue to pay maintenance fees for something I no longer want or need. I am attaching the letter from Vacation Villages stating they can only take the deed back if I have financial or medical hardships. Otherwise, I will need to sell or rent my timeshare. I dont want to do that. I was told when I agreed to my timeshare that this would be an excellent thing for me, but so many untruths were said to me that day. It is not financially smart to keep a timeshare that can never be used or booked. I was shown properties I could vacation at that are nothing like what is available. Although again, nothing is EVER available. I was also never told that my maintenance fees would continue to go up every single year. Please see the attached letter from my timeshare.
