    Ive gotten compounded weight loss medication from this pharmacy 3 separate times. Was told it wasnt working because I need to go up a dose only to cost me more money. When using other weight loss medication I was losing quickly, in 3 months I havent loss an ounce using their medication. A dosing that made me sick with other pharmacies, I feel nothing with the compound from Hallandale. Not one side effect. Pretty sure this is salt water and no medication!

    I am rejecting this response because: my prescription was filled through your pharmacy. You can see on the invoice I attached it says Hallandale. And my bottle shave your name on them. Your pharmacy is a scam and stealing peoples money by not using medication in tue bottles. Ive seen all the other complaints on here and they all the say the same thing. There will be a lawsuit with your pharmacy and lots of money paid out to reimburse all the people that got fake medicine from you!

    Regarding a refund request:  Please note that Np2go, your provider, handles billing and offers the weight loss plan. Hallandale Pharmacy is a compounding pharmacy selected by your provider, and our role is to provide the medication. We don't  bill you nor collect payments, so any financial relief queries should be directed to your provider. We will be happy to work with you provider to find a solution.

    Regarding your concerns about our pharmacy, we adhere to strict standards. However, to make a proper determination, we need to know the facts about what you received from another pharmacy, including concentrations, dosing, and vial size. We've contacted your prescriber to assist you further. 

    In the meantime, we can offer a certificate of analysis for the product you received (see attachment ), which we test against commercial standards to ensure quality. If you'd like, we can schedule an in person consultation with our pharmacists and extend the opportunity to visit our state of the art facility.

     

    Medication Info:

    Weve previously explained the medication's nature,  and even provided medical literature supporting the facts, but let's reiterate: these are pharmaceutical solutions, not miracle weight loss solutions. The medication has peak response times and plateaus, which are normal. Collective results over time will indicate its true effects, not the evaluation of the presence of side effects. Results vary from person to person.



    Dosing Issues:Its important to understand that dosing errors are common in the industry. Your provider should have set clear expectations regarding results. To better assess the issue, all variables need to be considered. As mentioned before, we need the previous product you use to properly evaluate your experience.


    How the medication actually works vs patient perception:
    Side effects don't indicate the medication is working. Delayed gastric time is the mechanism by which weight loss occurs, often confused with not working if side effects aren't present. GLP-1's ARE NOT appetite suppressants; they diminish appetite due to delayed gastric emptying, making food sit longer in your stomach, reducing hunger. These mechanisms need to be understood and the expectations surrounding it.

    I am rejecting this response because: they reached out to me because the pharmacy told them I complained. Ive been in this medication months before I ordered from your pharmacy. I was losing weight no problem.  Nothing has changed the last 3 months except getting medication from your pharmacy. There will be a lawsuit. See you soon in court. I hope everyone reads these complaints before using your pharmacy that gives people water and not medication.

    . I have been taking the semiglutide for 3 months with absolutely no change in my appetite or food thoughts. When i took the compounded version before from a clinic i did notice a change. I am wondering if i am getting the real deal.

    I had prescription medication that I ordered. I received a box that stated all the medication should be in there, Part of the order was in the box while the majority of it was not. The company refuses to respond to my emails. They say all the medication was scanned and in the box however it was not. I would like replacement meds sent.

    I have been on Semaglutide for 6 months and switched to Hallandale from another pharmacy. Since taking medication from Hallandale starting on 8/14/24 I have put on weight instead of losing. Im pretty certain this must be water because I never experienced weight gain from other provider

    I have been ordering this medicine Tirzepatide from ****** for 6 months the medication comes from Hallandale Pharmacy, I have to say this must be water I have not lost any weight at all. Paying all this money to inject who knows what. I actually opened one of the bottles and actually tasted the medicine and I can tell you that it did not taste like anything at all. It has to be water ! I am so frustrated because I have searched and searched to make sure I am not getting ripped off but here I am. This is wrong at every level. Those of us who are willing to pay for the medication out of pocket because your insurance does not cover it should not be getting ripped off by these companies! Im hoping this site looks into it and does something about it. People do not get ripped off with all these companies advertising on social media they are FAKE!

    Date: 8/1/24 $1,100 I made a purchase of $1,100 on 8/1 with my *** ***** to placing the order I contacted the doctor to let them know I needed my address to be updated to a new address and I am currently out of state. After updating my address in the portal (as instructed) and submitting the order, on 8/2/24 Hallendale pharmacy sent the package to my old address which I did not have access to. On 8/13, I was able to have someone retrieve the package from the incorrect address only to discover that the package did not contain the medicine, only the accessories (syringes and wipes). I contacted ********** pharmacy and they advised it was too late to report an issue and they would not issue a replacement. The packing slip indicates issues must be reported within 24hours, however, because it was sent to the wrong address in another state, I was only able to report the issue once I received it. The packing slip included in my order even shows just one check **** on the list of items (over the syringes and wipes, not the medicine). ****** reviews suggest both of the issues here (items sent to wrong address, and packages missing the medicine and containing only the needles and wipes) are not a new occurrence or one-off for Hallendale Pharmacy I am a repeat customer of my *** and Hallendale **********************, and wish to continue doing business with them, however, cannot do so after being scammed of $1,100 with multiple issues.

    I have received a compounded sirum of Simiglutide for 4 months. Ive taken the shots as directed with no impact on my appetite at all. *** had no side effects that my husband has had taking his Ozempic (same thing Im supposed to be taking). After reading several complaints already filed, I agree that the shots Ive been giving myself are NOT what they are supposed to be. I should be entitled and expect a full refund of all money paid for this stuff.

    I used the company Effecty, LLC to order weight loss medications and I was sent a half empty bottle of medication or water. When I reached out to the company, they insisted that the dosage was accurate and that no refund would be issued and that I could only receive a replacement bottle of the same amount. I was supposed to take 2.5 mg weekly over 4 weeks. The amount of medicine I received is in the bottle below (see attachment). It's not enough for one month. When explained to the associates, ********* and an alleged Pharmacist, they shifted blame from one person to the another. In effect, they said they'd send the medicine out again, but that I needed to contact the pharmacist. They know the amount is incorrect and they know this amount is not enough for one month. Yet, hey are holding fast with their lies. The pharmacist was listed as: Dr. ************************* a board certified physician licensed in *********.

    Historically, patients have made assumptions since the vial is not filled to the top that there is medication missing. The dosage required weekly equates to 0.25 ml. It is a very small unit of measure that not only will you find that there is enough in the vial, but you will also find that we fill the vial in a small excess to compensate for patient handling dosing.

    Your image of the vial is exactly what you should have received. Please see link below , in particular  the section named "Why does my vial look empty" to help you navigate around dosing, and vial fill volume. It is something we particularly address since patients are often confused to have received a small amount in the vial.

    I have been taking compounded semiglutide from this pharmacy for 6 weeks, with absolutely no results, compared to when I took name brand. I initially felt it was due to the lower dosage. However, I am beginning to think that this is merely a vial of water and pray that is all Ive been injecting myself with and nothing more harmful. When I reached out to the company, I was told that Hallandale had experienced regulatory issues and my new vial would be coming from another pharmacy. One can only hope that this next vial does the job. Shame on you, Hallandale, for scamming people with your watered down medication!

We assure you that our products undergo a rigorous production process to deliver exactly what is stated on your label.

    We are aware of the posts Mochi health has made and want to assure you it is not true. There are no regulatory actions being taken against Hallandale. Mochi did not pay its bills so we stopped supplying them. We are demanding that they correct the record and believe it will be resolved shortly.  We are sorry for this disturbance this has caused and the lack of confidence in our product.

    As far as the clinical questions/concerns you raise, your medication undergoes significant quality assurance including testing every batch to ensure safety and quality. We will be happy to provide you with the certificate of analysis from our third party lab (the same labs that conduct quality tests for the big named pharmaceutical companies) that will provide the potency of the product you received. Please send us your lot # and we will gladly provide a redacted copy of the potency test conducted.

    Regarding your concerns around whether the medication worked or not, we understand the frustration of patients not achieving expected results. The reasons for lack of response could include dosing titration, injection technique, insulin resistance, duration of use and other variables. We emphasize the importance of discussing expectations with healthcare providers and are committed to collaborating with them to address any concerns.

    We would be happy to send you a new vial free of charge if you would like, but we remind you that many patients do not respond the same. There are many clinical articles surrounding GLP-1 medications such as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide that address patient concern such as yours.

    I ordered a vial of semaglutide from Hallandale Pharmacy, after my second injection I became violently ill and required medical attention multiple times at the hospital due to severe side effects. I am not sure what was in my vial, or what was compounded into this medication, but it made me sick for over ten days with nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. This was at the lowest dose of 0.25mg. I thought I was going to die, or never get well, and I had to be hospitalized. This was the scariest thing, and I'm an RN. I know something was either off with the concentration of this medicine, or it was compounded inappropriately. Either way, I would warn anyone who is thinking about ordering from this pharmacy. This was one of the worst experiences of my life.
