    I contracted services from this group back in January 2024. The sales person made the process to settle our debts relatively simple and presented the group as being lawyers and legal professionals. I signed up and began the process and to say it has been chaotic is an understatement. I asked for a detailed step-by-step accounting of what I needed to do to protect myself from liens and ******* I spoke to assured me if I followed her advice, we would be protected. Within days, we had a lien that froze all of our money coming out from our largest delivery application. The same rep assured me she simply had to write a letter to get it lifted. Days, then weeks went by- nothing. She kept saying she was writing the letter, but never did. At this point, the delivery application was holding over $10k of ours and all I got was the runaround from Coastal Debt. When I finally spoke to a supervisor, it turns out ******* was just a paralegal and advised me things that were completely untrue. Once the lien is there, there is no way to remove it until the debt is settled. The supervisor was flabbergasted at what was told to me, per her reading my account notes, but all she could offer me was to say she would talk to ******* who misguided me- nothing more! At this point, I had lost all faith in their services and wanted to cancel my services. They had me set up an escrow account that I was told was for the purposes of settling debt in a lump sum - when I checked the account, ********************** Debt had drained it of almost all the money I placed in there- almost $10k. I have called numerous times and am still getting the runaround about recovering my money. I feel like I have been scammed. I am now down $25k between the lien and them taking my money. I needed help and they almost put me out of business! I want my money back.

    We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with your experience. We try to make the debt settlement process as simple as possible for our clients by taking care of everything with our lawyers and legal professionals, such as the paralegals that assist them. However, every case is different, and some can be more complex due to circumstances outside of our control. We enroll clients based on the information that the client provides and with the information that was provided, everything was done correctly. Our representative did advise you of the risk to your processor, which was not liened. Unfortunately, at the time of enrollment, you did not inform us your receivables were collected through delivery service platforms. If you had, we would have advised you of this risk. 

    We do everything in our power to protect our clients, but in legal situations such as this one the outcomes are not wholly in our control, they can depend on the other party, their attorneys, Judges Orders, etc. After reviewing your file, we show that you unilaterally canceled the program right after the lien was placed leaving insufficient time to respond or act.

    The contract is very clear about the program fees, attorney's fees, and proceeds set aside to settle the debt. Legal assistance is provided at any point in the program as needed. The contract is also very clear about the no-refund policy. In addition to being stated clearly in the contract, you were also verbally explained these terms during the sign-up process.

    Additionally, the program only works if you complete all the payments and graduate debt-free from the program. By missing payments or cancelling early, you would not be able to settle your debts or resolve pending legal issues. The program proceeds are needed to negotiate your settlement, pay the attorneys fees, and assist you to graduate the program completely debt-free. We understand you are upset, and it is difficult to keep faith throughout legal turmoil. However, we are confident we could help you if you would be willing to commit to the program as we want to see you graduate completely debt-free. This is our recommendation, because even if you get a refund from us, you will still have the unresolved MCA debt that was affecting your business if you quit now.
     
    However, we understand you are in a tough situation financially as a result of the lien. If you still decide you want to quit the program, we are willing to make an exception to help you and refund your fees paid into the program.

    Please let us know what you prefer. We know that we can help you through this difficult situation and see you graduate our program debt-free, as we have helped hundreds of businesses.

I do not wish to continue with their services. I will like to receive communication on how and when I expect to receive the money back.

    This company is trying to get me to take a small business loan. Problem, I do not own a business and have asked them not to call me. They have called 22 times in the past week 6 times in one hour when i kept declining their call. The number changes when they call. Its unprofessional and ridiculous.

    Unfortunately, a lot of people will get us confused with the harassing phone calls they receive from the lenders. Our company doesn't provide any type of loan.

    This company has called me multiple Times this week, thinking I am my mother. They have hung up on me, cursed at me and harrassed me.

    After checking our records, we can confirm that this person has never done business with Coastal Debt. As a policy, we ensure that anyone that would not liked to be contacted by ** after their initial call is removed from our list. Even though this person is not a client of ours, we have made a note to never contact her.

    Additionally, we can guarantee none of our agents have ever or would ever curse at a client or potential client. We want to believe this accusation is not intentionally libelous but possibly the result of ************************ unfortunately mistaking us for another company, as it is very common for people to get harassing calls from lenders or other companies.

    We respectfully request for this complaint to be removed as it is not relevant to our company and seems to be intended for a different company.

    They continue to call and harrass trying to get you to sugn up with them, I have asked multiple times to quit calling me, calling my cell phone all day long - I block thier number and they call from a different line - I'm over it -
