1 starDO NOT GET A LOAN FROM THIS COMPANY! They will not only not allow you to pay more than the monthly amount due, or you'll be fined...but they also, after 3 years, I sold the property, charged me $7500 as a early payoff fee. Who does this! I would never recommend this farce of a bank to anyone...not even my worst enemy. I gave it a 1 star because I couldn't leave zero. 1 starI am in finance and have never seen or dealt with a company that provides such bad service and predatory practices. For months I've tried to reach out, I finally got a hold of them today, and said there was no such attempt for me to contact them. They have been charging a $1,000+ per month force-placed insurance without our knowledge and let us know today we have a $8,000 negative escrow. Sure, did we accidentally let the policy lapse and there should be some level of fee? Absolutely. But the inability to contact them and even figure out the issue, the lack of help from Ramses, and the horrendous experience trying to log in or even communicate via phone, are beyond frustrating. Just check their reviews here, on yelp, or anywhere else. They are predators and the worst company ever. I will immediately begin the process of a refi somewhere else and would highly recommend everyone else who has been unfortunate enough to work with them to do the same. This is my first ever review on BBB and I'll be leaving every platform that offers it.Review fromCarl E

1 starcommunity home loans failed to pay my 4q taxes just prior to selling my loan, requiring me to pay them myself. Not their phones are disconnected and I'm afraid I'm out 1300$ as I can't reach anyone there. Shady business, unimpressed with them during my time with them. Would not recommend.Review fromJoshua R

1 starMy problems with Community Loan Servicing started at the start of my loan. I’m a real estate investor and bought a short term rental in August of 2022. I provided proof of insurance at closing as is standard. In November of 2022 I received an email from CLS stating that they hadn’t received proof of ins and were going to purchase a forced policy. I replied that I had supplied proof of insurance at the outset of the loan and attached the documentation to the email. In Oct of 2023 I received another email stating that yet again a forced policy was being put in place as they had no record of my current insurance. I provided this to them and after discussing the situation on the phone with escrow representative ***** ******, I realized that despite the fact that I provided proof of insurance twice the previous year, a forced policy was purchased anyway, so I had been erroneously paying too much. Because my escrow payment for the previous year included this forced policy in addition to the latest forced policy, my payment was too high by over $400. *****’s solution was to deactivate my autopay that I had set at the outset of the loan, however he neglected to mention this to me until two months later, when I called again for an update on the escrow analysis they were supposedly conducting to adjust my payment to the correct amount. I had manually paid the incorrect amount as I didn’t want the account going past due. When I spoke with ***** in December 2023 he assured me that I wouldn’t be penalized and that I wouldn’t need to pay until the payment amount was corrected. A couple weeks ago I received a letter stating my account was past due, despite what ***** had told me and was contacted by another representative, Ramses Del Valle. I forwarded him the details of the situation from the very beginning, and after two weeks and four follow up emails I haven’t received a response. Will be reaching out to the executive team directly and consulting my attorney.Community Loan Servicing

1 starI have been trying to get a hold of Community loan servicing for several months. They have failed to pay my taxes on my property ****************** are escrowed) and a tax lien has been placed on my property. The surplus to pay those taxes is sitting in my escrow account which I can see on my statement. I have called dozens of times and the phone disconnects as soon as you are told that you will transferred to a representative. I have also reached out to them by email and mail with only a return of my escrow statement. I am writing this review under the direction of my attorney to see if Community Loan Servicing is willing to respond. I will not lose my property due to their negligence and will continue to pursue legal action.Community Loan Servicing

1 starIm totally fed up with my insurance experience with Community Loan Servicing.First Im given the wrong place to mail the proof of insurance and no one returns the mail or notifies me even though the address is associated with Community.Then I 3 way call community after I discover it never got taken care of and we send community proof of insurance that was acceptedNow Im getting letters saying my deductible is too high and my insurer is telling me I cant change it this far into the policyWhy did no one at community tell me my deductible was too high when they accepted my proof of insurance!? 1 starCommunity Loan is horrible aka Bayview. We finally got our assumption modification completed after two years of my mother in laws death and they transferred our loan to Right Path. Which Right Path did not receive all the necessary paperwork from bayview/Community Loan and we are still awaiting our names to be changed on the loan even though our county and state recognize us as owners. Now we just got served paper work from a Miltead and Associates claiming Bayview is foreclosing on my dead mother in law. If ****** ****** of someone doesnt contact us soon. I will be pressing charges and get PA attorney general involved . We are current on our mortgage with Right Path and sheriff sale is scheduled for April. Everyday we have people driving in our property checking it out. I feel this is definitely something illegal going on with Bayview. Milstead and Assoc never return calls and all voice mail boxes are full. They can not be reach. So unless someone contact us I will be taking this unethical company head on for all the trouble they have caused us and still are.Community Loan Servicing

1 starThis company is absolutely terrible! I lost my mom in 2021 and once the house sold I received a check for a refund. With all the complicated processing the check was in-between some papers and when I went to deposit the check it had been cancelled. I have sent numerous emails and called multiple times to have the check reissued. You sit on hold for over an hour and sometimes they never pick up. All emails have NOT been responded too. The check is 2k and I will be perusing this legally if I don't get a response.Community Loan Servicing
