      Office Depot has charged my boss's credit card five separate times, resulting in five shipments of products we never authorized beyond the initial order. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this, reaching their customer service has been extremely frustrating. I was placed on hold for over an hour with no resolution, and the live chat has been equally unhelpfulfilled with apologies but no actual assistance. They continue to ask obvious questions without taking any real action. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences we've ever encountered.

      Used the on-line copy service so that I could do a curb side pick up, This 1st time I was notified printing (6 pages) would take 3 days. ***** passed. At curb side 15 minutes because NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE! 2nd ORDER: prints (and sign at front door) same day or 20 minutes for printing service. Wonderful. Prints were done...tried curb side. NO ONE ANSWERS THE Phone!!! Again, had to go inside. 3rd printing order...placed order Friday (early/midday). Was notified the order would be ready by 5 pm Saturday. ALSO received notice by text that my prints were ready. Get to OD by ************* & *********** & beep at the employee staring at me, with no response. Go inside to get my order and it hadn't even been started!!!! I had to waste my time because 7 prints were not done over 30 hours time. Plus some seem duplicate so I need to review my charges. Something so simple is so aggravating and a waste of time!!! Why say printing is done in 20 minutes WHEN IT IS NOT? Why say you have curb side pick up WHEN YOU DO NOT???? It may seem trite to have to walk in the store, but it is also a simple task to ANSWER THE PHONE AND HAND A PACKAGE OVER so appointments can be kept!!! Pretty rotten customer service.

      Less than reputable outfit. Order a Clearance "open box" laptop and according to the emailed confirmation received it stated that the package would be shipped within four days Order on 6/27 arrival on "our estimated delivery date is Tuesday, July 1, 2025", later to find that the items is now "backordered" How is an open box backordered? Called customer service on 7/1, could not answer the question. Did not get shipment yet I would leave 0 stars if that was available.

      If I could give zero stars, I would. I placed an order on 6/27/25, as Office Depot advertised a deal for 12 pack ***** paper towels for $19.99/case. The deal was a great deal to pass on. After placing my order, I called Office Depot's customer service and spoke to a representative, ********. I explained that I wanted to confirm what I would be receiving in the order. After placing me on a hold, she resumed the call and told me that she confirmed with her supervisor that I will be receiving a total of 12 packs of 12 rolls in each pack. Today, 7/1/25, I received my delivery and only received 1 pack of paper towels. I immediately called Office Depot. The first call was disconnected and the representative, who I was talking to, never bothered to call me back. I called back and spoke with ***. I explained to her the reason for my call and after review, she too confirmed that I should have received 12 packs. She suggested that a "delivery only" be done. Then she stated that it wouldn't work and said that she needed to process a refund so that she can reorder the items. Now that the item is advertised for in-store only, she said that she cannot make a new order. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she connected me to "Thiwo" He immediately got on the phone, didnt ask how he could help me but automatically thought that the representatives person on the issue was accurate and began to back her up. I explained to him that what she explained was not accurate and I gave him all of the details. He then told me that the company had an error in their system and that's why they are not honoring the price and quantity. I explained that this was wrong and they should honor what was advertised. Had I known that it was an error, I would have canceled the order on 6/27/25, after speaking with the representative. As I previously stated, she too confirmed my order and the quantity. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The customer service **** were a disgrace to speak with.

      In February I bought an HP computer from this store on Colorado Blvd. I checked the status of the warranty and it had expired. I called the store and they told me to call HP. I called HP and they told me to call Home Depot. I called Home Depot’s HQ and they said that they would take care of it. Never heard back. I had a tech transfer the info from my old computer to the new one and because of specks on the back of the monitor, he thought that the computer had been refurbished. Check your warranty when you buy something from this store.

      I have been a customer of Office Depot at the Divisadero location for 30 years for my supplies and printing, on May 28, 2025, at 6:15 pm I NEEDED to add money to a gift card to use your printer (following your procedures to print) the employee tried to add the money to Office Depot gift card so I can print my forms and after waiting for a long 5 minutes he was talking to an employee on his headphones he replied to me that this register had frozen and he couldn't do the transaction and gave the gift card back to me so i asked him if he can use any other register or anyone else can help me and he replied "NO! ALL THE REGISTERS ARE FROZEN AND WE CLOSE IN 40 MINUTES" I looked around to printing department and seen that customers transactions were being made with no problem so i just left the building as I got in my car at that time my Granddaughter was inside NEEDING TO USE THE BATHROOM URGRNTLY and she was told that she COULD NOT USE THE BATHROOM BECAUSE IT WAS BEING CLEANED. This experience was the worst experience I had ever had. First of all, the process of just wanting to make a copy or to print 2 forms is ridiculous you have to wait in a LONG line to add $2.00 on Office Depot gift card and to wait in another line to print the forms is not customer satisfaction at all. Secondly this employee had no intentions on doing his job or to give me the service I needed he had plenty of time to help me but instead he replied, "SORRY I CAN'T HELP YOU WE CLOSE IN 40 MINUTES AND GAVE THE CARD BACK TO ME". I am friendly, professional and 65 percent of the time I get terrible customer service I took the time from my busy schedule to write this review because I have had enough, I will be pursuing a case against the terrible customer service I always get at this location

      I placed an online order for a chair to be picked up in-store, but the store canceled my order and offered me a display chair instead. When I arrived to pick it up, the chair seemed to be fine. However, once I got it home, I discovered that the bottom was broken and had been taped and glued to hide the damage.I called the store to report the issue, but they essentially told me it was not their responsibility and that I needed to resolve it myself. Selling a broken chair and trying to conceal the damage with glue and tape is misleading and unacceptable. While I usually have a good opinion of Office Depot, this particular store has been disappointing. For the sake of a few dollars, they tarnished their longstanding reputation.

Following the customer's concern regarding the chair, the store manager personally reached out to address the issue. During the conversation, the manager apologized for the inconvenience and offered a full refund for the chair. However, the customer explained that he had already sold the chair to a neighbor who wanted it.

      The interaction was positive, and the customer expressed that all he truly wanted was an apology. He appreciated the manager's effort to reach out and resolve the matter. The manager assured the customer that the refund offer would remain available should he change his mind in the future. 

      The customer declined the refund and appeared satisfied with the resolution. The store is grateful for the opportunity to address the concern and appreciates the customer's understanding.

      On May 13, 2025 I ordered an office chair online which the website said ONE was available for pickup at my local OfficeMax in *********, ***I paid the item price ($149.96) which was advertised as a NEW chair, yet when I arrived at the local OfficeMax the chair was a USED floor model that had scuffs/scratches on the legs and dust/dirt on the seat & frame. NOT as ************* top that off, the chair had a clear plastic price 'folder' with an OfficeMax price tag of $125.97, which was nearly $25 cheaper than the $149.96 that I just paid.I immediately went to the store manager, who rudely said that online sales have no connection to items in-store and that if I have any complaints to take them to online sales department. Her point is proven wrong as it was my online purchase that distinctly pointed me to this particular chair as available for my purchase (which I had done/completed prior to pickup).There are 2 serious issues ******** is that OfficeDepot/OfficeMax site led me to believe my $149.96 was buying a NEW chair and they did not disclose that it was a scratched and dirty USED floor model.The second issue is that the store manager refused to even refund me the price difference which was clearly STILL attached to the chair. (I have that $125.97 price banner/tag and a photo of it attached to the chair).I called online customer service, who told me to go back to the store manager. Online customer service refused to even refund the price difference, so I intend to escalate the matter via state's consumer protection and even if it takes exposing these unscrupulous acts in small claims court.I'm also disabled & asked store staff where is the restroom and they told me it's not for public use, not even allowing my dire needed use of it.

      We have had a business account for several years with great customer ********************* The last few months have been extremely disappointing. We use to have items delivered in 1-2 business days. Now it is taking 5 or more. We ordered copy paper 3 ********** was never delivered. Driver said no one was ********* are open 24-7. A supervisor was to call me & never did. Ready to start ordering from a company that respects their clients.
