  I really wasn't able to afford to pay too much so they gave me a good deal where I did the packing and they had someone move my things. I was happy with that. The movers showed up on time and we weren't ready just then. They waited for us to finish for an hour. They didn't even charge us for it. These guys are so considerate and helpful. My valuables were safely transported on time. Safe Ship was definitely one of the companies that would have a good moving experience. Our pickup was delayed which was slightly frustrating, but their customer ********************** department reached out and explained how the pickup will be delayed by 1 day because of mechanical issues with the truck.

  DO NOT USE!I engaged with SS in February to have my things, which were already packed in storage in *******, moved to my new home in *******. The things would be picked up and placed in a cheaper, moving storage container until my requested delivery date of June 4. The mover showed up late, I had to pay an additional month's storage. The mover required me to pay half of the outstanding balance in CASH and refused to pick up my items unless I did this. THough this seemed odd, I went ahead and paid in cash through cash app, and my things were picked up. I did NOT receive a BOL or updated charges upon pickup. I called the mover and requested delivery on June 4. I was moved in to my new apartment and needed my bed. The mover never showed. I called SS, they stated the mover had **** business days, so I reluctantly waited. Time came and went, still no furniture. My child and I were sleeping on the floor. It made no sense to buy replacements as we are in an apartment, and I have no room to have double of every thing. I began calling more frequently and every time, there was a new story: truck broke down, the office is in ********** and they aren't at work yet (how...they are in ********!), truck broke down again, someone else is getting delivered before me...). According to the contract, the mover had UP to 30 business days, per DOT. Thirty business days came and went, and then 60, and then 90. Finally, the mover scheduled a delivery time and demanded not only the last half of the contracted amount, but an additional ***** dollars! He refused to deliver and tried to shake me down over the phone threatening to leave with my things. When looking for moving services, do yourself a favor and skip Safe Ship. It's now October 18, and I still don't have any of my things and they have exactly nothing to help me get them, or to compensate me so I can replace the items that I've not received.

  My entire experience from *******, the salesperson, to **** and *****, the men who moved me, was just the most pleasurable experience that one could hope for while going through such a stressful transition. They were consistently pleasant despite some very challenging logistics and weather conditions, as well as totally professional and respectful of me, the two properties and my belongings. The men worked so hard and the price was also quite reasonable, considering all things they had to go through - heavy rain, mud and ice and shuttling my stuff in smaller trucks to the tractor trailers that were too large to come to either house. They basically had to move everything twice on both ends of the move! What a bear of a job! I hope I never have to move again but, if I do, I would try to secure the same company and certainly these same men. In the extremely rare event that I have to move again.

  I had to relocate to another state for a new career. We had a lot because my family had been living in the same house for almost thirty years. Safe Ship Moving provided us with very reasonable pricing and assisted us in making the experience as simple as possible. The entire relocation went very smoothly. The movers arrived on schedule and treated all of our valuable belongings with care. They were professional and friendly, and everything arrived on time and safely at our new house. Strongly recommended!

  its that time of the year for me, again. I work as a contractor and I usually only work for a company for 3-9 months. My latest contract has ended so after living in the peach state for 10 months, I am relocating to the lone star state.I booked with safe ship moving and didnt read the contract, my fault. So i was very surprised when the moving company that was found for me asked for extra money upon arrival. they stated that it was in the contract that I signed with safe ship. I read the contract and totally missed that the carrier charged a separate fee due upon arrival. My mistake. A career contractor not reading a contract upfront lmfao. After i realized my mistake I gave the moving company their portion of the fee and then they loaded my stuff. I was given a delivery date of 1-4 days and my truck arrived 4 days later. Since my stuff arrived within the time frame that they gave to me, I will give them 5 stars.

  The WORST experience! To start, when they arrived at my storage unit they quoted me $1700 MORE than what I was originally quoted. They said my furniture was bigger than standard size so I told them to load what they could into the 410sq ft I paid for and Ill leave the rest. Off course they didnt do that, they charged me for an extra 200sq ft and loaded it all. They said theyd deliver my stuff on September 27th, no call no update. Takes me days to contact a real person. The mover calls and says theyll be there the following Tuesday. I take off work I wait, nothing, no call no show. I called 100 times trying to contact someone. Finally they answer when I called off someone elses number and tell me they cant deliver to Alabama because the hurricane in *******? Alabama was not affected by it at all. Anyways another week + later the mover arrives. It was a single man, just one, that unloaded all my stuff. Best part is he left a mountain of trash in my garage. Left all the plastic, tape, padding, everything. This company is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. DO NOT be scammed by these horrible people

  Just a horrific experience with this company and Safe Ship! Its all seemingly a scam. Lead you to believe that they provide this service and its usually done quickly, but contract states otherwise. Dont believe they will deliver your items within a reasonable amount of time. If you dont pack your things its all additional cost. And the material 5x the amount youll pay at the store, plus labor. Taking long enough and charging more than enough for less than 2 bedrooms. Things are measured in cubic feet not squared. Unless your ridiculously rich. Not worth it AT ALL!!!! Horrible oh and unless you change your mind within 48hrs of signing said contract, they wont refund your deposit! And your contract days are business days not normal days of the week. Worst mistake of my life.

  Man I gotta move again. I hate living *******, everywhere I go has roaches. Everyone litters everywhere.This state is so dirty.only thing good thing about this state is the weather. Im going back to the north. I really am sick of moving, and i dont have the energy to do the work by myself. So I after some late night searches I happen to come into contact with a shipping broker. dont remember exactly how i found them. I found this company called safe ship moving services. I received a call from them around 10 am. and the sales rep explained to me the packing and shipping services they have to offer. Once they mentioned how they can have a moving company pack all of my items, I couldnt hesitate. I went for their full *********** package. After we discussed pricing, i booked with them. A week before my move they called me to double check the stuff that i own. Then they told me about the moving company they assigned to me. They gave me a 2 day pickup window. The moving company (atlas *** lines) came on the second day. which is good because I was exhausted the first pickup day from packing all of my aunts trinkets and glasswares. The moving team came and packed my 2 bedroom home in a hour and a half. I barely had time to take a nap, but I definitely napped on the floor and used my jacket as a pilow after they left. 4 days later they dropped my stuff off at my new place. ***** and ******* were very friendly.

  I had a good experience with this company, I was recommended to safe ship from one of my Army buddies. I just finished deployment and decided that I do not want to go back to living in my small town that i never left before joining the Army. I had all my items stored in a storage unit. Honestly i wanted to just throw everything out but i didnt want to fly home to do that. Safe ship said they could find a company to move my stuff out of my storage unit and pack it into their truck and take it to me. I called the storage company and they said they will allow the moving company to take my stuff out. I booked with them, and they shipped all of my stuff from michigan to kansas. Honestly i did not pack my boxes well at all, i just stuffed my s*** in their without properly packing them. lazy teen stuff. A few boxes got damaged in transit but that was from my lazy packing procedures lol.

  Terrible Experience Long Distance moving from ******* to *******. Absolutely horrible experience through Safeship with ********************* doing the cost estimation. First I was finalized for 3400$. But on the day of final moving, LuxeryVan Lines LLC was the one who did the actual moving, that means Safeship is just a Broker. A person named Ibub from LuxeryVan increased the cost to 9000$ which is 3 times more than the original quote. On the day of delivery, we are charged again 600$ to unload all my stuff into the apartment. Half of my household stuff like dining table, queen *** were broken and the boxes are opened. The bolts for both the queen ***s are missing and both of my therapedic memory foam mattress are completely destroyed. Dining table is broken very badly. Leather sofa was scratched and legs are half broken. Safeship dont care to return my calls. All I can mention is that SafeShip movers and LuxeryVan Lines LLC are totally Fraud movers.
