      Never use this company or their affiliate A&N moving company. They are apart of a massive scandal where they cheat people out of large amounts of money. I used their service to move my stuff from **** to *******. At pickup they demanded an extra 800 or they wouldnt take my stuff. They used bait and switch tactics to force me onto paying more. Please save yourself the stress and do your research. Go to this link where my home state reported on this scam.*******************************************************************************

      Safe Ship Moving is always looking for ways to improve for our customers. We try to be as honest and forthcoming with our estimation process as possible. The differences between carrier and broker can be difficult for customers to make, but it is an important distinction that must be maintained. Safe Ship Moving is an interstate Moving Broker not a Carrier. We did not transport your belongings. 

      We encourage all customers to share their experience but to perpetuate a narrative described as "Bait & Switch" is not only slander but flat out untrue. 

      We operate within the guidelines outlined in the estimate you signed upon booking your reservation.

      I am 72 years old and have trouble with pdf files etc. The young man that works in Port Orange name Elijah is the nicest most patient young man I've ever encountered. He does everything with a smile and a super attitude. He deserves a lot of credit and is definitely an asset to your company.just had to say it

      Similar to the other 1 star revies here, my experience with this company and their sub-contractors was absolutely horrible. Their sales department try's to get you to sign as quickly as possible as the entire process is a ****. Upcharges from each person in the process, and no opportunity to get a refund of MoveSafe's fee of $2500. When my belongings were supposed to arrive, I was told that they would be there at 7:00 PM. I spoke to a very threatening driver named ****, who stated that he didn't care about my experience or that I wasn't comfortable with a delivery in the dark. **** explained that no one tells him what to do, he tells me what to do. Ultimately when my belongings arived, they were packed without care in the truck, there was thousands of dollars of damage, and I learned to not back-talk to ****. ANY of these reviews that give more than 2 stars are clearly fake. RUN, don't walk from this company, and DON'T sign anything. They will likely change their name soon and pop up under another name soon.

      We are sorry your relocation experience with the Carrier was less than satisfactory. We can assure you that we vett every carrier thoroughly and would never do business with a Company that had a problem of this nature with any prior Customer.


      Our Carrier Vetting Process is comprehensive and thorough. Every FMCSA Authorized Carrier we work with must be fully Licensed, Bonded and Insured. We consider reviews and complaints but heavily depend on our Customer's Personal Experience with Carriers.

      Due to your dissatisfactory experience with the Carrier, we have removed the Carrier from Dispatch Registry, filed multiple Complaints on your behalf and will be launching a Carrier Delinquency Investigation. Additionally, we will be submitting a Customer Satisfaction Ticket in an effort to rectify the situation and keep this from happening ever again.


      We try and avoid damages at all costs and there is a claims process in place to compensate for damages. We recommend filing a claim for any articles or pieces that are damaged or missing. Please keep in mind that you can only file one claim per move so, we encourage you hold off on filing your claim until you have gone through every piece of your shipment.

      We called Safeship for our move from ************ to *****. They said nothing about being a broker and hiring others to do the work. They quoted me **** days for delivery. The packers who showed up were not employees from Safeship. They packed everything and wanted double the money I was quoted to haul the stuff. Our stuff did not arrive until 29 days later. We called numerous times and were told they couldnt give us an update or even locate the shipment. Once our stuff did finally arrive, over half the boxes were smashed, upside down and crammed into every crevice of the truck. Numerous items were broken. Our table leg was broken. My toolbox chest had two broken wheels and had been twisted so bad that some of the drawers wouldnt open. My leaf blower and the battery charger was packed with other stuff in a larger box by the movers. When it arrived the leaf blower and charger were not in the box. Improper handling of fragile items, broken and bent items, double the quoted price of the move, and a month wait. I do not recommend this company at all. It wouldve been cheaper to rent a uhaul, hire two guys to load and unload it, have them drive down, pay for gas and tolls, pay for their hotel stays for three days, and fly them back. I wouldve saved around $6,000.

      Customer satisfaction is our highest priority. Here at Safe Ship Moving we try and provide an accurate, honest and forthright relocation experience. Our status as a broker is plainly listed on our website, paperwork and marketing materials. 

      All pickup ETAs, delivery timeframes and delivery ETAs are only estimates; they are not guaranteed. Many factors can contribute to schedule variations. Truck breakdowns, accidents, traffic challenges, natural disasters, changes in carrier routes, severe weather, and staffing fluctuations are just a few unusual reasons why your moving team may have been delayed for pickup. 
      In the winter months delays can happen from time to time. Significant weather events across several regions of the US impacted our carrier network and shipping routes. 

      We try and avoid damages at all costs and there is a claims process in place to compensate for damages. We recommend filing a claim for any articles or pieces that are damaged or missing. Please keep in mind that you can only file one claim per move so, we encourage you hold off on filing your claim until you have gone through every piece of your shipment.

      I went with them because my friend told me how cheap they are. I got a quote and someone from safeship told me that if any problems arose that Id be able to text or call him directly.Unfortunately this guy ghosted me when the problems started, and I never heard from him despite texting and calling.When the first moving company arrived they tried to haggle me for an extra $2500 saying that my estimate was way over. After some back and forth the guy in charge told me to keep the original price hed sell me a space and whatever I could fill in there.I had to disassemble all of my furniture which they said they would and did not. And in order to prevent them from up charging me I hopped in the truck and started stacking everything to ensure it fit in the space. Sure enough- all of it fit. Or would have, once they saw that it was all going to fit they told me they were full despite the fact that I had more boxes and more room in the truck.The safeship guys told me Id pay 50/50 but he wanted 70% upfront. I ended up cutting him a check for that amount.The items were suppose to arrive the following week from what the safeship guys told me. We ended up waiting 3 weeks. During those weeks I got constant calls from the guy in charge telling me my check bounced after the money had been taken from my account. We went back and forth for weeks. Until finally I went up to my physical bank and put a banker on the phone with him.When our things finally arrived there was minor damage on the furniture. A box had been crushed and retapped. And it all smelled as if it had been rained on. Before they started the second moving company told me Id have to pay an extra $40 for reasons unknown. I payed it just to get it over with. They didnt assemble anything.Do not go with them. Youll be on your own and have to deal with 4 separate companies in your moving process. Very amateur run operation.

      We take all customer feedback seriously and would like to understand more about what occurred so that we can take appropriate action. It is always our primary goal to to facilitate quality and successful relocations.
      In signing the estimate as well as the Bill of ****** (BOL), the Customer, agrees and affirms the contents herein to be true at the time I signed the agreement. In the signed for and agreed upon estimate it does state "the carrier reserves the right to collect up to 70% of balance due prior to the goods leaving the origin state".

      This business should be shut down. They have absolutely horrendous customer ********************** and hire out to businesses that cant do the job. I have thousands of dollars in damages they are not covering.

      Thank you for your honest and thorough critique of your relocation. We are sorry to hear that your experience was less than satisfactory. Safe Ship Moving is always striving to improve our processes, procedures and overall customer experience one testimony at a time.

      The moving industry is a difficult industry to traverse and carriers can go from great to bad overnight with something as small as hiring a new crew or over stretching their means with the purchase of a new truck. This of course does not make it acceptable. After review of your experience it is clear that we can no longer do business with your assigned carrier.

      I am in the process of moving with this broker/Safeship. The mover showed up and added 1/2 of the original quote to the final cost - this was even after I subtracted significantly large items from the original list finalized with Safeship. Safeship told me to call them if the movers tried to add elevator charges, but I was lost on what to do in this situation with three strangers in my own home. I am hoping my stuff is ok when I receive it. I am trying to resolve the issue with Safeship. Do NOT use Safeship.

      Thank you for your honest and thorough critique of your moving experience. All estimates are based on the moving needs (household goods inventory, extra required services, desired pickup and delivery) provided by the customer during the setup process. The preliminary Estimate is just that, an Estimate. 
      We provided the estimate based on the inventory list  that was provided to your Logistics Coordinator. Upon pickup the carrier revised the estimate based on the space needed. As specifically notated in our contract, any additional space, packing materials or services needed are at an additional cost. The estimate is a powerful preliminary guide to determine the initial volume but what what you are paying for is the space used on the truck. 
      Loading and packing a moving truck requires a lot of time, energy, and knowledge to get all your items safely on the truck. The moving team needs to make careful calculations to maximize the space and prevent damage. There are items that cannot be stacked and not all items may perfectly fit together causing what known in the industry as "Fault Space".
