    Great communication, very efficient and cordial. Showed up when they said they would. Very careful when loading as I had a three story Townhome, nothing was damaged and I had very heavy and fragile furniture. Very care when delivering as well and kept to the schedule . ******* was excellent in the communications, always answered the phone or returned calls within minutes at all hours. No complaints here and will be using them again in the near future. Keep up the good work. So nice to be able to rely on a moving company when you need a good one!

    First I would like to say thank you to Scott. You guys have been really good to us on our long-distance move. on May 2nd 2024 we had a smoothe transition into our new home. This company is phenomenal. I had a wonderful experience with them. they took their time to explain the nature of how they operate and exactly what happens with them. if you want professionalism, quality service and reliable look no further. We are truly grateful thank you guys soooo much. will definitely be using again in the near future.

    We had a terrible experience with Brightside Moving in Mar 2024.# 1 thing to know for everyone - They are moving brokers who make money from contracts. They are not real movers. They typically charge you high binding fee and high deposit (1/3 of the total cost). They kept me on the phone for 2 hours, urging us to sign a contract with them . Of course they did not want to give us time to think and compare quotes. We signed the contract with them, which was the beginning of a nightmare. We were hoping this would be a smoothed move. However, 5 days before the move, one of the employees called us and requested to update inventory. The update cost jump from 3k to 6k!!! We were super upset about the outcome because the original agent provide misleading calculation of the total volume to justify a low price, but they were just waiting to ripe us off in the last min. They initially said there was no charge for *** packages but ended up telling us that they have to charge on mattress bags. They threatened us upon the nonrefundable deposit if we quit at this time point.***** and ******* thanks for your terrible service that led us to the truth of what this company really is. We had to file a credit card fraud report on the deposit. Will never work with them again. Be cautious- High binding fee, high deposit and underestimation of the volume are the typical acts of broker companies who will ripe you off.

    Hi Mr. ***** Very sorry to hear you are so unhappy with your experience with our company. It surprises us to hear you were not aware we are a broker. Everything we have online as well as all docs clearly say we are a broker. You also signed your Bill of Lading confirming the licensed motor carrier that was scheduled to service your job. We apologize for any misunderstanding.

    We pride ourselves in providing honest and accurate estimates. The estimates are based upon the list of items you provide us. When we call before the move, it is a courtesy to go over delivery timeframes, packing requirements, restricted items, payment methods, and ask if you need to make any revisions to the list of items you will be bringing. You added a lot of items and that increased the overall cost.. As far as packing is concerned you are sent a separate email right after your verification call that reiterates the packing requirements that need to be done by you to avoid additional costs.

    We are saddened that we could not work with you to get your move serviced. We take all complaints seriously and are continuously working on our end to ensure the absolute best customer experience possible.

    Brightside Moving Group picked up my items from a 2 bedroom apartment on 3.19.24 to transport to my new address in CT. They outsourced to another company Moving Mania and then Jay's Trucking in New Jersey showed up on 4.1.24 and I was missing an Orbea Bike (valued at 2,000), a bible (valued at 30.00), 1 box of shoes and boots (valued at 1,000), 2 boxes of expensive school books (valued at 1,000), missing dresser (valued at 500), an XMAS tree (valued at 50.00), my vacuum cleaner dirt devil arrived broken (valued at 64.99) It is now a month later and I still don't have all my items.

    *****, we are so sorry you still do not have your belongings. We are the broker and do not transport or take part in transportation of goods. We have been working with you and Moving Mania to try and locate the items. You were picked up on the 19th and delivered on the 3rd of April. The review is posted on the 8th which is 5 days after delivery. We are still working diligently with the carrier to locate your items. We will reach out to you to start the claims process if we do not have a resolution very soon. Again we are extremely sorry for this and will assist in anyway we can to get this resolved.

    3.5 stars. The process started off with a few hitches of increased estimates and lack of information provided to me or requested from me. I am no moving expert so had no idea what was required from either party. My budget was also not set to allow for float of the estimate from 2x to 4x. Once the carrier arrived for my move they told me it would be double the cost of the inflated estimate from Brightside! I had to refuse service and thought I would be out my two deposits (~$2,200), but then the owner called me and offered to make things right the best way he could. My image of Brightside changed completely with how things were handled after issues sprung up. The company does genuinely seem to care about those moving, which was a good feeling to have after I thought all my plans had crumbled and my money had evaporated. The response to issues and attempts to make things right was greatly appreciated, and made me feel like a cared for customer. I cant thank ***** enough for how he was willing to help when he could have justifiably just taken my money and walked away. I recommend anyone wanting to use a moving broker such as Brightside do research on what is needed in the moving process so they can be up front with the Brightside staff as they are busy and may not be able to ask all the questions they need to in order to get things completely squared away before the carrier arrives. I also recommend more training for the staff so that they can better serve customers who really don't know what to ask or what is even involved in moving. Overall, I greatly appreciate Brightside for how they helped me out when I needed it and how they were able to adjust plans and make for a successful move!

    Hi ******, We appreciate your honest feedback. When problems occur we do our best to get things resolved in real time. 

    In this case we had to pivot and find a new driver and crew to service the job after the first carrier came and tried to increase your price significantly. Its our job to give accurate estimates and then utilize the best carriers possible to service our clients jobs. After review and seeing the truck space that was actually utilized on the second truck it seems our estimate was accurate. The carrier that originally arrived on site tried to increase your overall cost by inflating the cubic footage that would be needed. We vet our carriers based on DOT records as well as practical experience. The carrier Good Move has an A+ on the better business bureau and seemed in great standing on paper. They were newer carrier to our network.  We had a similar issue with this carrier shortly after your pick up and we no longer work with them. We had 20 more jobs scheduled with them and had to reassign all of them to different carriers because of their business practices.

    We are not looking to side step responsibility and take complete blame for the hiccup. Thank you so much for trusting us to get a new crew out there to service your job appropriately. We wish you the best in your new home!
