I purchased the highest end system they offered (12 megapixels) and added two wireless outdoor cameras, two E-1 cameras, and the 18x PTZ.
The PTZ unit is junk. Like a circus mirror, everything is stretched height-wise and compacted length wise. With the street being 40 feet from the camera, you see the SUV but determining type is almost impossible. I.E. all SUVs look like those cube ones. A person walking across the street looks to be almost as tall as the gutters to the house. The closer to the center of the screen-the taller and skinnier everything is. This affects the motion detection as well.
The follow system works right to left, not left to right and sticks at the right limit. Movement is jerky no matter how I set the speed of movement.
The standard 1200 units have slight distortion but better than PTZ. A long bed pickup is still a long bed pickup. Daytime clarity is good, movement is choppy on playback. Recording is limited to 20 FPS or less. Sun lit areas are crisp, shaded areas are darker than expected. Nighttime is good. Infra-red lights have debilitating glare from nearby surfaces. Had to aim cameras away from walls and soffits to see at night. Can monitor the side areas but they are no longer the center of the display. A simple shade would help a lot with this.
The main reason I considered Reolink was that they prominently advertise color night vision. What I did not understand is that color night vison means that each camera has a small visible light spotlight in it. A pretty big miss on my part. Any camera with a light is going to be “color night vision capable”.
The main system is better than the Swann it replaced. The color during the day is better, the night vision is better, and the on-board spotlights provide a neat capability. However, the price was more than five times that of the Swann.
The PTZ unit is a waste of money.
Customer service was good until I had an issue.
Overall I am not happy with my purchase and would go another way.

Customer service is terrible. Website advertises the product works with my existing ReoLink NVR but after 13 days of e-mail troubleshooting (one e-mail per day is the fastest they work) they tell me it doesn't work. Website still lying to customers advertising it works but technical team finally tells me it doesn't actually work. They offered me 5% for my trouble - a joke!

The long story has never ended with the lousy customer service. I purchased my camera in September 2022 but have not yet received it. After 33 emails between them and me, I am still waiting to get the right product. Unfortunately, When I asked for a refund, they told me will get $230 out of $270. No way to connect them by phone. I just got emails from "Yogurt" who ignores the main concern and respond as He/ She likes. I am so tired of this three months issue. Does anyone experience like this before ( unprofessional customer service)? I advise you all to run away from Reolink. Thanks :(

I purchased a Trackmix PoE that does not work at all, after 4 requests for a RMA. I finally received an email after 3 weeks that said 'request closed' I guess that meant they refused to RMA, so I would not recommend to any one to buy cameras from Reolink their return policy is non existent, It's the luck of the draw to them I guess They will send you a camera and if it works it works and if it doesn't work that's your bad luck like a casino they should change the name to -
    The Reolink Casino "Buyer Beware"

Won't warranty an 8 month old product. It won't connect to the wifi. Buy a different brand. 2 year warranty haha. Their support is a joke too.

You pay for what you get. If possible, go with a more reputable brand. I was penny smart dollar stupid when I bought 6 cameras and I regret it that I went past the 30 day refund mark for each of them. They constantly lose signal, freeze, the SD card will suddenly be in "not formatted" status and formatting it will not resolve the issue.

Tech support is even worse. No matter how you carefully word yourself and no matter how detailed you are they will go down a bullet point list of generic questions (even if you already answered them). They are taught to copy and paste this instead of actually learning about reolink cameras and how to deal with the issues these horrible cameras may have at any given time.

Reolink tech support informed me that I should manually update my cameras but when I did that bricked these cameras. They were restarting every 2 minutes, freezing, blinking then restarting again.

Poor tech support from people that are hired fast and barely educated on the product they are working with.

I changed cameras to Google brand and have had no issues. I should of spent the money a while ago and trashed these reolink garbage cameras I have.

I learned an expensive lesson, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! No amount of good reviews will get me to be a reolink customer again.

I do not recommend this company since they send you products that do not work and then do not want to refund the money
