I ordered Go tickets. Com, and this appeared on the 21st of July. My daughter got extremely sick, as she has epilepsy, asthma social anxiety and I gave less than 24 hours' notice, as my daughter is extremely sick, so I wanted to get my money back since we can not go. And also, oh, I found that go tickets.com is a scam agency per MN state fair. I also purchased Allinza insurance so that if I had to cancel, it would be easy. The call center people do not undestand english and were very unproffessional and told me NO that is not right I can not control my daughter sickness and I am not even guaranteed my tickets for the concert as they stated and that is 670.00 worth of money I am loosing so unfair and disrespectful they took my money and do not care pleas ehelp me thank you so much and also we asked to speak to supervisor or msanger and they told me NO and that they dont have any which does not make sense as every company has a supervisor or manger.Business Response

Our customer placed their order on July 20, 2025, for 2 tickets to see Nelly with Ja Rule and Mya and Ying Yang Twins at the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand in Falcon Heights, MN on August 30, 2025, at 7:00 PM. The order was confirmed by the seller. The tickets are scheduled to be delivered on or before August 29, 2025.
We understand the concern regarding the ability to attend the event due to the unfortunate medical situation involving our customer's daughter.
At GoTickets, we operate as a live event ticket resale marketplace where ticket purchases are typically final once confirmed. This is due to the nature of resale markets, where tickets are secured immediately upon placing an order, in accordance with our terms that all sales are final to manage the commitments made to sellers.
Our records indicate that our customer purchased insurance through Allianz, which usually provides an avenue for reimbursement under certain conditions. For any further assistance with the insurance claim process or details on coverage, we encourage reaching out to Allianz directly. We relay this with empathy, understanding the severity of the situation mentioned.
Regarding the interaction with our support team, we are dedicated to professional and respectful customer service. We regret if this standard was not met during your communication with us. It is essential for us that our customers receive courteous and knowledgeable assistance, and we will review the interaction to ensure that our support protocols are maintained. I purchased two tickets thinking it was directly from the venue. Shortly after, they started texting me saying the tickets were already sold. Then they tried to offer replacements of lesser value. Talked to customer service. No help.

Once a ticket is sold, it should be immediately removed from the website. In This day and age, online purchases are instantaneously processed. The website should also be instantaneously updated. There should be some safeguards in place to prevent selling the same ticket to two different customers. The company can continue to post a low price offer to attract customers but once they make the purchase the company can just make a claim that a ticket was already sold and then offer a replacement ticket of lesser value. That’s exactly what happened to me. When I rejected their replacement they incrementally offer tickets closer to my original value but only after I declined the first offer. Claiming the market fluctuates quickly leaves the door wide open for the company to defraud customers.

After purchasing rhe tickets you find out that you have actually purchased from a third party. The third party promises to have the tickets to you the day before the event. I need my tickets now or a refund. I'm traveling from out of state and need to make hotel pre-paid reservations.

We understand our customer is concerned with the delivery

conservative estimate of time of possession on the part of the seller, in
which case, tickets may be delivered sooner than the In-Hand-Date.

When placing the order on June 14, 2025, our customer selected tickets marked with an In-Hand Date of October 24, 2025. This was clearly displayed both on the listing page and again during the checkout process before completing the purchase. An order confirmation email was sent immediately after the transaction, reiterating this delivery window. The In-Hand Date reflects the latest estimated date by which the seller will have the tickets ready for delivery. This timing is often influenced by venue policies or the original ticket issuer's distribution schedule. We understand this can feel last-minute—especially when travel planning is involved—but it’s a standard industry practice that ensures secure and verified transfers.
We regret any confusion regarding our refund policy. As disclosed before purchase and on our website, all sales are final. This is a binding policy not only for our customers but also for the sellers from whom we source tickets. That said, our Buyer Guarantee assures that tickets will be delivered in time for the event, be valid for entry, and match the specifications of the order. Once an order is locked in and confirmed with the seller—as was the case here—it unfortunately cannot be reversed. On 6/30/25, I purchased two tickets to a concert for $218.73. Shortly thereafter on the same day, I opened a live chat session requesting a refund due to the wrong city. Through numerous chat sessions and phone calls, Go Tickets has refused to issue a refund. Upon further research, I now see that Go Marketplace Inc has deceitful business practices, such as the following:
Overcharging and hidden fees
Difficulty with refunds and cancellations
Poor customer service
Ticket transfer and delivery problems
Allegations of deceptive practices: Some customers accuse GoTickets of being a fraudulent company that misrepresents itself as a primary ticket seller, leading customers to believe they are purchasing directly from the venue, when in reality it is a secondary marketplace. Some claim the company uses deceptive tactics, such as setting a timer to create a sense of urgency, to pressure customers into purchasing overpriced tickets.Invalid or non-existent tickets: There have been reports of customers purchasing tickets that turned out to be invalid or did not exist, leading to denied entry at the venue.

I purchased tickets on the web site for GoTickets and they gave me tickets not otherwise indicated in the purchase. I have tried to find this organization and its registration has been revoked by Illinois, and they are listed as a Foreign Organization. They need to be banned from doing business with Ticket Master. This is a scam, fails to accommodate handicapped persons, and does not give what they advertised. It is a brokerage for tickets from Ticket Master. customer claims www.gotickets.com has had its registration revoked,
which is not accurate. Our customer also claims GoTickets is listed as a “Foreign
Organization,” which is also not accurate. Go Tickets is not a brokerage, nor
does GoTickets own inventory; GoTickets is a digital platform connecting ticket
buyers to ticket sellers. As such, our Services are merely designed to act as a
marketplace to connect buyers and sellers.
Our
customer claims we do not accommodate ADA needs, however any inventory sellers have
available that includes ADA related seating locations (i.e. ADA, companion
seating, etc.) is clearly labeled on our website for a user to select and
purchase if they choose to do so.
During the checkout process, our
customer agreed to the terms of service, which state the following:
The purchase of tickets is at the
full discretion of the Buyer, and all sales are final. Ticket prices on the Services are set by the
owners of ticket(s) ("Seller"). As a result, the ticket prices listed
may be substantially higher (or in some cases lower) than the original face
value printed on the ticket. All sales are final even though ticket prices for
live events continue to fluctuate on the open market. It is possible that
prices of similar seats will change over time; if the prices of similar tickets
increase prior to the event, you will not be charged more. Conversely, if the
price of similar tickets decreases prior to the event, no credits, refunds or
upgrades will be given. GoTickets will never charge more than what you have
authorized. Due to the unique nature of tickets, they can't be replaced, hence
there are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations, except as expressly set
forth herein or as required by applicable law.

On July 6, 2025, I attempted to purchase tickets for the Boston orchestra performance on 6/13. Although I typed the venue in the search box, Gotickets.com (Go Marketplace) came up first. I clicked on that link and purchased tickets, although I wondered why they were 50% more than the site listed price and thought I was on their site.
Although I allowed my credit card to be charged, I quickly realized that I had been duped into buying from 3rd party scalper, when I looked at the email confirmation. I quickly got on their "customer service" site (which turned out to be a chatbot), and requested a refund. After offering my a 10% discount on my next purchase (which I refused), the chatbot said it would send my complaint to the "escalation team." The next day (7/7) I received a phone call and voicemail. I called back and was told
that my only recourse was to resell the tickets on another site they own, Lysted.com. I explained that I plan to dispute the charge with my credit card, and would also be filing a complaint with the Delaware Attorney General, but if they didn't charge my card and cancelled the transaction, I would not. I was angain offered me the 10% discount, which I again declined, then said that because they were a 3rd-party site they could not refund my purchase. On February 23, 2025, we purchased tickets from gotickets.com for the Joe Bonamassa's show on August 25, 2025 at Northern Quest Casino. We received a confirmation email, showing tickets for the August 25th show.
At the time the tickets were purchased, there were two dates shown for Northern Quest, August 5th and August 25th. Only the August 25th date worked in our schedule.
On June 16, 2025, we received an email from gotickets.com saying that the August 25th show had been rescheduled to August 5th.
Numerous contacts with gotickets.com requesting acknowledgment that this is not a reschedule, since the August 5 show was already scheduled when the tickets were purchased, have gone nowhere.
I believe there was an error in their system, or in the system of the original seller's system. I have contacted LiveNation, which also posted an August 25th concert, and confirmed that August 25th was an error, and that there was no rescheduling of that concert.
Gotickets sites their no refund policy for rescheduled events (cancellation receive a full refund), and states that we approved the relevant details before finalizing the order. We understand their policy. We do not dispute that their policy is clear, however it does not fit this situation.We cannot approve the relevant details before finalizing the order if the details in your system are WRONG.

Be it a computer glitch or human error, the company does not accept responsibility for its part, albeit as a secondary market, after the fact. I do not expect any action from the company, but will never do business with them again, nor recommend them to anyone. They may not be illegal, but they are unethical.

On June 3rd, I visited the Madison Square Garden website to purchase tickets for Laufey, which redirected me to Gotickets. I completed my purchase there, only to later realize it was a reseller site. The tickets were sold at twice the price listed on the official artist page.
After doing some research, I found many negative reviews describing Gotickets as a scam—citing issues such as undelivered tickets, invalid tickets at entry, and unresponsive customer support. This raised serious concerns.
When I didn’t receive my tickets right after purchase and was unable to reach any human representative, I assumed I had been scammed. Since we were really looking forward to seeing the artist, my friend purchased official tickets through Ticketmaster instead—and received them immediately.
Only seven days later, Gotickets emailed to say I would receive my tickets on October 14, just one day before the concert on October 15. This extremely delayed delivery makes it impossible for me to verify the tickets’ validity or resell them if needed.
I have tried to contact your support multiple times via live chat and phone, but I only get automated responses and no actual help.
I am requesting that the tickets be delivered as soon as possible. Every legitimate ticket seller I’ve used delivers tickets right after purchase—or at least within 24 hours. There is no valid reason why Gotickets should hold onto my tickets until the last possible moment, especially when payment was taken immediately.

Violation of GoTickets’ Own Seller PolicyGoTickets’ own seller terms state:“Sellers are expressly forbidden from listing for sale: (a) tickets that the Seller does not own.”However, a GoTickets customer representative confirmed — as shown in the attached screenshot — that my ticket would only be delivered once the seller receives it, meaning the ticket was not in the seller’s possession at the time of sale, in direct violation of their stated policy.Additionally, I received the following message from GoTickets (quoted verbatim):“The seller of your tickets expects them to become available on 2025-10-14… This date is typically the latest possible date that tickets will become available… there are a couple factors that can determine the exact date that you’ll receive your tickets, like when tickets are released by the venue or when the seller receives tickets from their supplier.”This message further confirms that:•The seller did not own the ticket when it was sold;•The seller may be relying on a third-party supplier, adding more delay and risk;•And the delivery is speculative — not guaranteed.2. Violation of New York State Law and Licensing RequirementsAccording to the New York Department of State (NYSDOS), it is not allowed to resell tickets that are not currently in the seller’s possession. This policy aligns with GoTickets’ own seller rules but appears to be violated in this case.Additionally, GoTickets (or its parent company, GoMarket LLC) does not appear in the NYSDOS list of licensed ticket resellers, which is required to legally operate in New York.I reserve the right to report these violations to the New York Attorney General and the NYSDOS Division of Licensing Services.

Regarding the concerns on the resale marketplace, we emphasize that all ticket prices on our platform are determined by independent sellers and can fluctuate above or below face value based on market demand. We highlight that all fees and the final transaction amount are displayed prior to checkout, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the purchase.
