    On June 18, 2025, I attempted to purchase tickets for the Cowtown Rodeo performance on 6/21. Although I typed Cowtown Rodeo in the search box, Gotickets.com (Go Marketplace) came up first. I clicked on that link and purchased tickets, although I wondered why they were $234.00, over 100% more than usual (I usually buy from the Rodeo itself, and thought I was on their site.

    Although I allowed my credit card to be charged, I quickly realized that I had been duped into buying from 3rd party scalper, when I looked at the email confirmation. I quickly got on their "customer service" site (which turned out to be a chatbot), and requested a refund. After offering my a 10% discount on my next purchase (which I refused), the chatbot said it would send my complaint to the "escalation team." The next day (6/19) I texted again, and got a human (Alex), who told me that my only recourse was to resell the tickets on another site they own, Lysted.com. I explained that I had already disputed the charge with Citibank, and would also be filing a complaint with the Delaware Attorney General, but if they didn't charge my card and cancelled the transaction, I would not. Alex offered me the 10% discount, which I again declined, then said that because they were a 3rd-party site they could not refund my purchase. The next day (6/20), my card was charged, and I was informed by (Garry) that my only recourse was to resell the tickets on Lysted.com. After I said no thank you, I got no further response.

    Registered Users who want to buy tickets
    ("Buyers") may search for events and view ticket listings. To
    order tickets, a Buyer first browse GoTickets’ listings for tickets. When the
    Buyer finds desirable tickets, the Buyer places an order to purchase the
    ticket(s). When an order is placed, Sellers receive notification of an order
    and confirm delivery. All orders are final and, once placed, cannot be
    cancelled or retracted.  The purchase of tickets is at the full discretion
    of the Buyer, and all sales are final. Due to the unique nature of tickets,
    they can't be replaced, hence there are no refunds, exchanges, or
    cancellations.

    The website is clearly disclosed as a resale marketplace, as shown in our customer's documentation. During the checkout process, our customer agreed to the
    terms of service, which state the following: 
    The purchase of tickets is at the full discretion of the
    Buyer, and all sales are final.  Ticket prices on the Services are set by
    the owners of ticket(s) ("Seller"). As a result, the ticket prices
    listed may be substantially higher (or in some cases lower) than the original
    face value printed on the ticket. All sales are final even though ticket prices
    for live events continue to fluctuate on the open market. It is possible that
    prices of similar seats will change over time; if the prices of similar tickets
    increase prior to the event, you will not be charged more. Conversely, if the
    price of similar tickets decreases prior to the event, no credits, refunds or
    upgrades will be given. GoTickets will never charge more than what you have
    authorized. Due to the unique nature of tickets, they can't be replaced, hence
    there are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations, except as expressly set
    forth herein or as required by applicable law.

    6/7/2025 at 6:40 PM. Their order was confirmed immediately, and tickets were
    sent shortly after confirmation. Our customer was in contact with our Support
    Team and indicated they would be using the tickets provided.

    On Tuesday, June 4, 2025 I went onto the Bijou Theatre website and purchased tickets for Zoso on September 26.  I paid $133 all in with all fees for 2 tickets.  A friend of mine purchased two tickets on Ticketmaster, in the same row and paid $62 all in with all fees.  GoTickets, when I contacted them, stated that they are a secondary market for tickets and that's why the cost is more.  I told them I had no idea they were a secondary market and I clicked on the tickets on the Bijou website and was redirected. For obvious reasons I wanted a refund and I was told no even though It hadn't been more than 24 hours since the purchase. They refused to refund the cost of the tickets

    I still feel that GoTickets wasn't transparent in that the are a secondary market for reselling tickets and not the primary selling agent for The Bijou Theatre.  Their listing on Google indicates, to the average consumer, that they in fact are an agent for The Bijou Theatre and that is deceptive.

    I purchased 2 tickets to the Bachman Turner Overdrive concert in Appleton Wi on JULY 24, 2025 from GoTickets. After doing so I realized they grossly overcharged me for the tickets. I paid $267.97 for 2 tickets and they are being sold by the local venue for $50 each which would be $100. I contacted GoTickets thru their website to try and resolve the issue of grossly overcharging for the tickets. They would only offer a $20 refund which is not even close to a far resolution. They are ripping customer off that trusted their site. When I had googled to buy tickets for the concert they came up as the first option and I thought they were associated with the local venue. They would not work with me to resolve the issue of the overcharge. I'm normally good about not falling for scams but got caught in this one. On their website- GoTickets@2025

    and fulfilled with the tickets they selected within 1 minute of confirmation.
    Our customer successfully accessed these tickets the following day.

    I attempted to purchase tickets for a performance at Wolf Trap by visiting what I believed to be the official Wolf Trap website (www.wolftrap.org). Unknowingly, I was redirected to a third-party ticketing site—GoTickets.com—which presented itself in a way that made it appear affiliated with or part of the official Wolf Trap organization.

    I made two separate purchases, one for $233 and another for $208, totaling $441. After the transactions, I did not receive any confirmation email from Wolf Trap. Instead, I began receiving unusual messages from GoTickets, coming from people based in the Philippines, which made me concerned.

    I attempted to reach GoTickets through multiple methods:

    Phone: No answer

    Website chat: No response

    Email: Only automated, unhelpful replies

    I contacted PayPal immediately to report the issue and request a refund, but have not received a response. This was a deceptive transaction and I am seeking a full refund of my 2 tickets totalling Order #1225893

    Our customer claims www.gotickets.com appeared to be affiliated with
    the venue, however nowhere on the site does it indicate GoTickets is
    the official site of this venue, and moreover, the site is clearly branded as
    GoTickets, with the disclaimer, “Secure resale marketplace. Ticket prices may
    be above or below face value.”

    Both tickets were successfully
    delivered to our customer to the email address used to place the two orders
    referenced in their complaint. Our customer is all set to go to their events in
    August. Enjoy!

    Formal Demand for Full Refund – Fraudulent Ticket SaleVENDOR: To GoTickets Customer Service,I am writing to unequivocally reject your previous response regarding my ticket purchase and to reiterate my immediate demand for a full refund of $441. I do not accept the tickets you provided and will not use them.These tickets were sold to me under fraudulent circumstances. When I attempted to access wolftrap.com, a pop-up from "gotickets" immediately appeared, misleading me into believing your service was directly affiliated with Wolf Trap. This deceptive practice constitutes a fraudulent sale.Under Maryland law, I have a clear right to a refund for tickets sold through fraudulent means. Specifically, your actions may violate provisions of the Maryland Consumer Protection Act, Commercial Law Article, Title 13, Annotated Code of Maryland. Section 13-301 defines unfair or deceptive trade practices, including:(1) False, falsely disparaging, or misleading oral or written statement, visual description, or other representation of any kind which has the capacity, tendency, or effect of deceiving or misleading consumers.(2) Failure to state a material fact, if the failure deceives or tends to deceive.Your deliberate misrepresentation of affiliation with Wolf Trap, which directly led to my purchase, falls squarely within these definitions.I notified you of my intent to cancel the purchase within four hours of the transaction. Your delay of two days in responding is unacceptable and does not negate my right to a refund for a fraudulent transaction.Be advised that I have already filed a formal complaint with the Maryland Attorney General's Office, urging them to investigate and take action to prevent your business from defrauding Maryland residents. I have also escalated this matter to my congressional representatives.Failure to issue a full refund of $441 immediately will result in further legal action.     I am going on a trip with friends and offered to purchase Mesquite Rodeo tickets for our time in Dallas. I had been on the site. When I went back in to make the purchase, I inadvertently went to the top site which was GoTickets. There was a timer which made me rush to order because it said only 3% of ticket were left. So, in a panic I made the purchase of 4 $25 tickets with tax and fees cast me $322. When I went back to the venue site there were a lot of tickets left.
    This is not the easiest company to contact. I went through several attempts with chats which kept saying they couldn’t find my order and eventually starting chat over. Frustrated I emailed Again, not satisfied that I was being understood. I finally found a phone number and after many dead ends I did get through to someone. She robotically repeated that there are no refunds. I asked to speak to her manager and she said that wasn’t possible. She suggested that I relist them on a reselling site called Listed.com. There was not even a price on the tickets so they couldn’t help me. I don’t even care about the full amount. GoTickets seems to be a deceitful company with extremely inflated prices. I just feel that there should be some repercussions.

    Our customer placed their order on 5/8/2025 for 4 tickets to
    Mesquite Championship Rodeo at Mesquite Arena - Mesquite, TX on 6/28/2025 at
    7:30 PM. Their order was confirmed immediately and their tickets were electronically
    delivered within minutes to the email address used to place the order. Our
    customer successfully accessed those tickets 1 minute after delivery.


    We understand our customer is concerned with the price they
    paid for the tickets they selected and purchased. At GoTickets, we strive to
    provide a transparent and competitive marketplace where customers can choose
    tickets that align with preferences and budget. To provide our users with a
    comprehensive view of the total cost, we display an itemization of charges as
    well as the total price prior to order submission. This means that our customer
    was shown the total price before they made the decision to buy their
    tickets, including the amount of fees.


    During the checkout process, our customer agreed to the
    terms of service, which state the following:


    The purchase of tickets is at the full discretion of the
    Buyer, and all sales are final.  Ticket prices on the Services are set by
    the owners of ticket(s) ("Seller"). As a result, the ticket prices
    listed may be substantially higher (or in some cases lower) than the original

    Again, GoTickets is a very deceptive company with many complaints filed against them. It is impossible to speak with anyone of management status. Their response is to resell tickets with Lysted.com.  Lysted.com is not interested in selling overpriced tickets for an event that still has good seats available. There is not even a price listed on tickets. That in itself is deceitful. 

    I wish to pursue this. Speaking with the agents at GoTickets have given me no satisfaction.

    I paid 2.5X the going price for tickets, not realizing that I had been redirected to a reseller website. I have not received the tickets because this company does not possess the tickets purchased. They have taken my money and then apparently will seek to buy them from someone in the future. I realized this scam and at first thought they were not operating under a registered business in Delaware. I'm still not sure, I see GoMarketplace is registered but the address on the DE SOS website doesn't match the Market St address, so I'm still not sure if there is something shady going on with the business name/registration. But Google has no address for the business and as such, they have no google reviews. That leads me to believe this is a scam and I want my money returned. I do not have the product and I think the whole thing is a scam.

    Also, when I realized that they are price gouging, I immediately contacted them (within 10 minutes) and requested a refund. They refused.

    **In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered.I believe this company is violating Georgia law, specifically Chapter 4B of Title 43, and specifically OCGA 43-4B-28 -.  I have reported this entity to the Consumer Protection Division of the Georgia Attorney's Office for what looks like a violation of Georgia law.  This company did not have any tickets - they have a sponsored link to make it look like they are the official ticket seller and that they are selling tickets in their possession - that is false.  This company did not possess the tickets - by their own email admission, they go out and have someone buy them after the fact.   The event is not sold out nor was it at the time and there are plenty of tickets available at face value.  This is a scam, price gouging, and I believe illegal.  Additionally, as noted, they guarantee 100% buyer satisfaction.  I am not satisfied.  I want my money returned to me.

    On 4/23/2025, I ordered 2 tickets from this business. They scalp tickets and charge 3x the amount I found out. The venue advised they are a scam. I have tried calling them. No response in over a week. Reviews online state they are a scam. Goticket is an online scalper. They sell me tickets (as middle men) when they don’t have them in fact. That is fraud. I got an email from someone named, Apple and then another named, Orange to tell me no refunds, after a week. I told then I need my money back or resell the tickets and they told me no refunds. That's all they say.

    They stated no refunds generally but then say they will 100% refund? I was told by this company they set prices per the venue. They charged me $148 plus a $75 fee for a $40 ticket. The venue says they are a third-party ripping people off and a lot of people have to get refunds. I asked several times for a refund and this company did not send me tickets in a few days as they claimed. They are lying and refuse to give me my money back. They charged me almost $600 for 3 tickets. I purchased 3 better seats closer to the event for less than $200. This company is a ticket scalper. Just google reddit on them. I will be leaving a review on Google about them. This is not fair or right. I would appreciate it if they would just make this right and give my money back.

    Registered Users who want to buy tickets
    ("Buyers") may search for events and view ticket listings. To
    order tickets, a Buyer first browse GoTickets’ listings for tickets. When the
    Buyer finds desirable tickets, the Buyer continues through a multi-step
    check out process to place an order to purchase the ticket(s). When an order is
    placed, Sellers receive notification of an order and confirm delivery. All
    orders are final and, once placed, cannot be cancelled or retracted.  The
    purchase of tickets is at the full discretion of the Buyer, and all sales are
    final. All prices are disclosed prior to purchase. Due to the unique nature of
    tickets, they can't be replaced, hence there are no refunds, exchanges, or
    cancellations.


    The valid and authentic tickets purchased by our customer
    were delivered by the seller (owner) of the ticket for our customer's order via
    electronic transfer, prior to their event, to the email address used to place

    On 04/19/2025 I purchased tickets for a concert through GoTickets. Shortly after, l received an email stating l received the tickets which l did not. As per their instructions, l requested the seller "re-deliver" tickets. This has not happened. Contacted GoTickets via chat on 04/30/2025 to complain. I was sent a message that the seller was working on it "now" and to keep an eye on my email same day for tickets. I never received them. I am suspicious because such a simple transaction should not take this long.

    Our customer later reached out, having trouble finding the
    acceptance email, thus we requested the seller recall and resend the ticket
    transfer again for the customer. They are in that process now, and our customer
    will be kept informed once completed.

    Rest assured; all confirmed ticket orders are covered by

As a consumer, this solidifies my belief that gotickets is a company that is not truthful and will say whatever they think people want to hear. If the refund, that they promised in writing, is not fulfilled within the 7 days, legal matters will be taken by me.

    On 4/23 I purchased tickets to a Tigers game for my family. In the ticket description it stated immediate mobile ticket transfer to this event. You immediately deducted 220$ from my account. This amount is much higher than the same tickets purchased on the team website for 10$ a seat. You sent me an email stating my tickets would be transferred by 6/4/25 for a game on 6/6/25. I do not understand how this is 'doing business'? It should never take 90 days to receive tickets to an event that I paid for x10. When I have reached out to your business, to my surprise (sarcasm) I have not been able to talk to a real person. When you did respond back, your bot suggested I sell the tickets? And stated a very strict "No refund policy"? How is this possible when I never received the tickets I purchased? You cannot refund a product never received? Instead you stole money from my account. I am not interested in meeting up with a stranger in Detroit MI for my tickets. You put your customers at risk also? You lied to me, and many others. You stole money from me and time. You should be ashamed of yourself for even calling yourself a business, when you cannot even abide by fundamental ethics and principles on how a business operates. I am a firm believer that you will get what you deserve one day. It will all come back to you. While you steal money and memories from you customers, time will never forget what you have done.

    This was disclosed during the process in which our customer was searching for
    their desired tickets, when they selected this listing, and within the checkout
    process prior to finalizing their purchase. Upon order confirmation, they were
    sent a reminder email regarding this delivery timing. Rest assured; all

    A seller may set an In-Hand-Date on or near the date of the
    event for reasons such as:

    Delayed
    ticket releases on the part of the primary market, artist, team, or venue
    The
    seller delivering tickets close to the date of the event to avoid lost
    ticket scenarios, which may be difficult to resolve.
    A
    conservative estimate of time of possession on the part of the seller, in
    which case, tickets may be delivered sooner than the In-Hand-Date.
