I signed up for a $1 reading on AskNebula.com owned by the business I am submitting this for and was never informed or made aware that this would enroll me in a recurring subscription. I did not consent to any subscription plan or recurring charges beyond the $1 fee. Over the course of four months, I was unknowingly charged a total of $180. This subscription was not visible and the charges were not available online, making them intentionally difficult to detect. As soon as I noticed, I contacted the company and requested a full refund. They acknowledged the charges but only refunded 50% after multiple complaints. This practice is deceptive, unethical, and violates basic principles of informed consent and transparent subscriptions. I am seeking a full refund of the remaining $90 and am reporting this incident due to their dishonest billing practices. Additionally, After I told them I would not accept 50% and I would only accept a full refund, they closed my ticket and only refunded me 50% and refuse to reply.
