About

Important information

  • Additional Info:
According to information in BBB files, consumers report receiving mailings offering information about senior issues and seeking general information to be returned on an enclosed card. As always, the BBB advises care in sharing personal information with unknown parties. Over the years, the mailings have indicated that the targeted seniors receiving the mailing can request information or contact by providing their phone number and returning the mailer.   Recent versions of the mailings indicate it can provide information about Social Security tax changes. Previously, the mailings focused on asset protection for estates and other financial offerings. Although the mailings indicate that there is no affiliation with a government agency, it fails to provide any company name or phone number so that recipients would know who they were dealing with.

About This Business

Consumers across the country have raised questions about mailings received in the form of post cards offering further information if recipients sent in their phone number information.   The mailings lacked information about the sender, other than the contact point was an address in Washington, DC    Checking with US Postal Service, the BBB found that the location was a mail forwarding address used by a marketing firm located in Texas.  When contacted about complaint issues concerning these mailings, National Processing Center indicated that it was a trade name used by America's Recommended Mailers as a lead generator for its customers.   The company states that it does not maintain mailing lists, but purchases a new list for each client mailing it makes.
