1 starAvoid, avoid, avoid. These guys are scammers.
We have two central A/C systems in our home. When one stopped working during a brutal stretch of 95+ degree weather, we called Harp for help. The technician ran a few basic tests and told me the condenser had “seized.” He quoted me $8,000 to repair it, but said fixing a 21-year-old system would be “irresponsible.” Instead, he strongly pushed for a full replacement — quoting $14,000 to $21,000 for just one unit, and recommending I replace both, bringing the potential total to $28,000 to $42,000.
I was stunned. In a single hour-long visit, I went from a hot upstairs to wondering how I’d come up with $15,000–$40,000 — all while sweating through a heatwave. The service call quickly shifted from diagnostics to a high-pressure sales pitch.
To make things worse, the tech gave misleading information to justify the recommendation. For example, he pointed to a small copper line being warm and claimed that “confirmed” the failure — something I’ve since learned is irrelevant on its own. No attempt was made to try basic, common-sense fixes. The goal was clearly a sale.
After he left, I did a little research, spent $30 on a capacitor, and swapped it myself. The system came back to life instantly and has been running fine ever since. No seizing. No catastrophe. Just a routine capacitor failure — one of the most common A/C issues there is.
I get that older systems eventually need replacing — but this wasn’t an honest consultation. It felt like Harp was leveraging my discomfort and urgency to push a wildly expensive and unnecessary replacement.
If Harp tells you your system is shot, don’t get a second opinion — just don’t call them at all. In my case, the “solution” they sold would’ve cost more than a new car. What it actually needed? Less than dinner for two.HARP Home Services LLC

1 starWe had a furnace installed by Harp on July 8th 2024 after it being diagnosed by their technician as to the reason our ac system was not functioning properly. That’s when our troubles with Harp began. The installation was not done properly, we needed 3 service calls to get the ac to work properly. The installers were sloppy. We cleaned up screws and wire and parts from the old furnace for weeks. When heating season began we noticed that the humidifier installed with the furnace was not operating. We scheduled an appointment to have it repaired and they called the day of the appointment and told us they couldn’t come that day and we had to reschedule, so reluctantly we did. They finally came and repaired it. From what the technician told me it was not wired properly. On January 21st 2025( the coldest night of the year) the furnace stopped working. We called Harp to get someone to come to repair it as we had no heat in below 0º weather I was told the best they could do is to come the next day between 2 and 6 pm. I tried to explain that this was an emergency but to no avail. I called my local oil company and they were at my door within 30 minutes( which I would’ve expected from the company who sold us the furnace) they repaired it quickly and told us that one f the wires on the control panel was not attached properly. It cost me $300. I would NOT recommend Harp to anyone. They are not reliable and do not stand behind their promises of service 24/7. Stay as far away from this company as possible. We are sorry we ever started with them.

5 starsAfter calling many other's my sister Said to call Harp she had used them for years and they were great they had someone out to my house in less than 3 hours. The technician was extremely kind and professional he was done in less than 2 hours had to go out for parts cleaned up after himself . He took the time to answer all my questions and explain what has happened. I would HIGHLY recommend Harp to anyone who needs service..HARP Home Services LLC

1 starHARP Home Services charged us $20/mo. which supposedly includes a furnace inspection and an air conditioner inspection each year. This year they rescheduled our air conditioner inspection two times, and our furnace inspection three times, the last time being in 2025. So we never got our furnace inspection this current year.
We have changed to a new company and I would urge customers to avoid HARP Home Services.HARP Home Services LLC

1 starDo not schedule ANY kind of tune up with this company. They have canceled service for myself and 2 other friends twice. They cancel the day before you are scheduled for your maintenance. I even pre paid for mine by joining their preferred provider plan. I truly have no idea how this company stays in business!!HARP Home Services LLC

1 starIf I had my choice I wouldn’t leave any stars. As long as they have your money they’re happy. Over the course of 3ish years they have cancelled 13 appointments on me. After the last appt I went online and scheduled another one for 5days away. That too got cancelled and was told by the manager that the online scheduling feature was being taken down that day. Here it is over a week later and it’s still up and functioning. I finally got my requested refund back and am going to another company.HARP Home Services LLC

1 starNeeded a circular motor replaced on a multi-zone system. They sent in a guy who quoted about $4k, claiming the motor itself was $1K. HE then suggested that the entire boiler be replaced for about $15K, and they will help finance it. I had an actual plumber in hours earlier. Quoted $800 for the job including the motor. When I told him I was waiting for another quote from Harp, he said "they will try to sell you a new system, they do not like to do simple repairs." How right he was! Avoid these guys, they are full of it! Even their responses to other complaints, you will notice, is a cut-and-paste: "We take customer satisfaction seriously and we are sorry that we did not meet your expectations." Really? Harp doesn't know the first thing about customer satisfaction. Their only concern is in making a buck.HARP Home Services LLC
