My name is Yolanda Spence and trust me when I say believe All of the 1 star reviews and run away! I applied to this school 3 weeks ago and I should have knew something was fishy the way they just threw me into not 1 but 2 classes without verifying with me what class I would be taking. 1 intro class and another ridiculous computer class that has no relevance to my college degree. Both classes are suspiciously high and use up 90% of the aid you receive. Getting help from the faculty is almost nonexistent after your in your totally on your own, if they aren't hanging up on you they give you vague answers that leave you with more questions than answers. If you value your education then go somewhere else but if you want to end up going into debt with no valuable education than Post is the school for you. I will be seeing about suing and getting the Department of education to look into this diploma mill of a school.

Post has been an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish and through grad school. I don’t use financial aid loans so that has never been an issue, my GI Bill is applied quickly, and my grants were always delivered just fine. 99% of instructors are responsive and amazing. Leadership has worked well with me and my peers and they truly make it personal. In recent years virtual campus life has only gotten better with club offerings expanding, and workshops that cater to what students want to see. Post has so much more to offer than the refund from your loans.

They overcharge students then make them take loans out which they never see a penny. Charge a student for laptop which they never received.

They will not help when you contact them. They give you short unchecked answers just to get you off the phone. When the consequences of brushing off students that call for help they will blame the student that looked for help instead of the employees that ignored questions and concerns.

The financial office has never made a mistake for me. I was weary about all the negative reviews, but it was mostly people who want their grants and student loans faster.

I already had a bachelor's in Marketing with Post. I wanted to be a Forensic Accountant. I was told that with an Associate's in Forensic Accounting and my bachelor's I could become a Forensic Accountant. I finished the Associate's and there was no certificate, nor degree ever presented to me, even though I completed all of the required courses.
Fast forward, I find out that to become a Certified Forensic Accountant, I have to either become a CPA or work for a CPA for at least 1 year to even sit for the exam. To become a CPA you have to have either a bachelor's or Masters in accounting, which I do not have. I could work for a CPA, but it is a catch 22. No CPA will hire you to do forensic accounting without your Certified Fraud Examiner's license. So I can never use my degree to become what I wanted to become. I paid for an Associate's degree that is basically worthless. I could have gone an extra semester or two and gotten my Master's instead, and that was never an option presented to me. They sold me on a quick 2 semester degree that would cost less (it did not). I have since asked for an audit of my loans and was never given any response. They will tell you whatever they can to get you to take the classes.
They have also refused to refund any part of my classes, even though some of them had nothing to do with accounting, Yet, they were forced to fully refund the accounts of people that had taken their Equestrian degree many years ago. Logically, anyone that takes a degree about horses should not expect to do much with it. That is compared to an accounting degree? Even if they refunded a portion I would feel better. Their practices are similar to a sleezy car salesman. Like paying for a car and then realizing it doesn't have an engine. And you are told oh, well. Don't waste your money. They do not care about their students.

It appears my experience is no different from others who have left a review. I was extremely hopeful and eager to pursue my bachelor degree after leaving **** State 2 decades ago. During the beginning stages, I asked if I could have a degree audit performed to identify if it would be necessary to take all the course within the **** curriculum for my major and potentially save money in the long run (transfer credits). I was informed this would happen and but in the mean time I would need to take the Introductory to Post course along with a Computer Literacy course. I completed the first course scored well but kept checking in for an audit which would never come. I was auto-enrolled in the next course Computer Literacy after completing the first 8 week course. Considering the degree audit never happened, I called the advising line for support. I asked for a degree audit again and also asked how to drop the course as the reason for joining did not happen. I was given the run around and eventually was advised, if you don't participate in the course, you will be auto-disenrolled in the course. This is false.
This school is a scam, they will provide amazing support getting you to fill out the FAFSA. I believe based on my experience and potentially the experience of others, they provide this assistance to guarantee billings. I'm now on the hook for $4K. I'll agree I owe for the first course and shame on me. I don't agree to billing for the second course as the degree audit was never completed as discussed.
DO NOT GO TO THIS ONLINE PROGRAM. THEY WILL SUPPORT YOU WITH FAFSA, WALK YOU THROUGH SIGNING UP, AND AFTER THAT AUTO ENROLL AND BILL YOU... I tried numerous times to speak with someone once I found out I was on the hook for $4k and have had no luck.
I wish I'd read these reviews prior to signing up.

First term of online classes includes a Introductory to Post University class and a Computer Literacy class (online) at $1900 a piece. I was told i could test out of the Computer Literacy program by taking a 50 question test that must be done within 30 minutes and I get one chance. Learning about Post University's History as a first semester class at $1900 sounds outrageous to me. Taking an online class on how to use a computer at another $1900 makes me feel like I'm being scammed. I enrolled to further my education but I haven't been asked what would help me be more successful at Post, there's been no interest in transferring credits from my previous institution. No one has asked me about materials or other components needed to be Successful. Once reminded about my credits from my previous institution I was told, once I obtain my transcripts they'll take a look. Do it myself basically. These are things that should be standard when a college wants the best for their student's. I was told Post has standard prices so that meant all classes cost the same amount and that's $1900 per 8 week term from my understanding. I was approved for Financial Aid after completing the fresh start program and was awarded 6k and 3.5k subsidied and unsubsidized. I was advised by Post that the Department of education had not given availability to the 2024 25 FAFSA so I could not enroll Full Time and to complete the 23-24 FAFSA although the semester ends in August and I'm enrolled to start June 24th. Compared to my previous experience this has been a nightmare. After reading reviews and all the issues I see others have had in the past. Post has tomorrow and tomorrow only. It's my education and I'm doing it my way.
