I booked a hotel with this company. I was unable to cancel my hotel reservation after my employer rescinded my vacation. I am now out over $900 for a hotel . I will not use this service again. The only recourse is some chat box. I have done lots of business in the past with Priceline and never had problems. They are losing my business forever. Terrible customer service with no real help. Its the middle of summer near ***** ***** *** I am sure the hotel will have no problem rebooking this room. The reservation is for July 22 - July 26. Bye Priceline

I tried to initiate a refund and called customer support they responded in a timely manner. But when I tried to initiate a refund they said they need to contact the property management and they are in a different time zone. I have called 7 times to see if there is an update and they keep telling me they will have a response within 48 hours. It’s been two months and there is no response.

Want to leave any star rating because this company is TERRIBLE ! They lie abs try to steal your money.
They don't call you back about the issues and they advertise places they state have pools when they do not.
They won't bother to help moving you to another place that does.
The inn I stayed in comped me for a night and I keep getting the run around abs they're trying to keep that money.
I called again today and they straight up lied and said the hotel denied my comped room. I called the inn and she read that it was comped and is on the reciept.

I had a pay-later reservation on booked for July 14. On July 10th at 4:30 in the afternoon, I received an email (not from Priceline, but from BOOKING) saying that my credit card needed to be verified. At 6:30 am the next morning (July 11) I received an email saying my reservation had been cancelled. I do not check my email hourly, who does? Cancelling a reservation less than 24 hours after you essentially just left a message is absurd. I called Priceline customer support (which they do not man - they shunt the calls to Booking) where I was told I needed to call Priceline. So Booking's call center reps don't even know that there isn't a call center for Priceline. I spent one hour on hold - the hold music cut out after 30 or so minutes, and the rep never came back on to say they were still waiting for a supervisor.
I will never use Priceline again. Their practices are shameful, and it should be illegal to cancel someone's reservation last minute like this knowing that the rebooking will be significantly more expensive (and so more of a cut for priceline) - in my case $130 more expensive.
So I am booking alternative accommodations via ******** I hope whichever executive approved the cancellation via email policy and the one who consolidated call centers are made to fight each other to see who gets to keep their job.

We went to the website to book round-trip tickets to ******* for my ill mother, who has stage 4 cancer, and wanted to visit her family one last time. We were trying to buy five tickets since we were all accompanying her. We fill in the information online, put in the credit card information, and nothing appears after that. We called ******** ******** the next day, but they had no record of our reservation. Since Priceline showed no reservations, we went to ******** to book our flights. Then I see charges on my credit card. I called Citibank, and they saw no charges. However, after explaining the situation, they did a 3-way call, and the response was the same: the reservation did not go through, and Priceline apologized. We reserved with ******** Airlines to ensure we purchased tickets. I then saw a bill from Priceline for all the tickets, plus insurance* ******** recommended for a dispute claim. This was back in May. Today, I received an email from **** stating that Priceline refuses to return the money. I lost the claim, and now I have two tickets, PP, for the same flight and day, but for each of us. Reason for denial: price line states our conversation is not reflected in their records, despite our emails. They denied the claim, responding expiration on time elapsed since the purchase .So we call them just now , they have our conversation on records CSR states she did not understand why it was denied open a claim, gave us a claim number and they say it take 60-90 days. I am now terrified to travel with a 10K bill on my cc that I don't know if will be removed. We call them the next day! This is fraud!! They should not be allowed to be in business. We can't afford these expenses, and with the trip just two weeks away, it feels like they're doing this on purpose. My credit card has been dealing with them without a response. Never again!! I will tell everyone I know and everyone they know the type of business this company handles. They are stealing from people!!!!

I recently rented a car in *********** and had a frustrating experience. Priceline charged me $250 for insurance that covered the total value of the vehicle. However, when I went to pick up the car from *** Rent a Car, I was informed that I needed to purchase a secondary insurance for the same amount if I wanted to rent the vehicle. If not, they wouldn't rent the car to me. As a result, I ended up paying $500 for insurance for just six days of rental, in addition to the cost of the vehicle. This felt like a complete rip-off. Both companies used carefully crafted wording to take my money, which I found to be quite disgusting.

Priceline is a joke... I need to change my flight and the only option they want to give me is to purchase a new ticket. Will never book anything thing with this agency ever again. Don't bother with them if you value your hard earned money

I was very disappointed with Priceline when renting a car during our vacation. First of all, it looked like a fantastic deal for a VIP who had just booked and paid for another vacation through them. $50 a day. So, we paid the amount to Priceline, get to the rental place and ended up being charged double. After calling Priceline and the rental place, they said it wasn't a double charge, but all the "extras" like insurance, etc. Also, let me mention that the first car we got had to be returned because of the suspension issues. It shook so badly on the interstate that we were scared to drive it in the mountains and scared it would break down. I will no longer be using Priceline for anything. I feel like this was very dishonest! (and cost us a great deal more) My suggestion to everyone is to just call a close by rental place and not use a third party, but especially not Priceline.

Booked through Priceline and two hours later I made a price match guarantee claim. They denied my claim saying it was after the 24-hour limit showed emails and responses showing timelines to prove that the claim was made before the 24-hour limit. They stalled everything still claiming it was after 24 hours, then after my trip was done, they started saying because the trip was already completed there was nothing they could do because policy prevented them because the trip was already completed.

I set a reservation for a hotel through priceline and they changed it at checkout to the wrong month. When trying to contact customer support the only available resource is a broken chatbot. I eventually hunted down their "customer care" phone number, only to wait for 2 hours... the line is unmanned! This is a SCAM company! Do Not Do Business With Them!
