    I too fell victim to the auto renewal scam. No company should auto opt a customer into auto renewal but clearly have one line addressing only auto renewal. Especially for customers who are likely on a phone in the wilderness joining! When I got the charge on my statement it was already past the 30 day cancellation! Thats where the scam is! Company allows 90 day cancellation when you join but 30 days on auto renewal and by the time you get your statement its past the date!I had ****** from Harvest host agree to a refund in an email to me and the refund has not shown up on my account.This company is incredibly dishonest BEWARE!!!

Your membership was renewed on June 3, and we first heard from you on July 22, which is outside the refund window outlined. Members are notified during checkout that the membership auto-renews annually, and renewal settings can be managed at any time through the Manage Your Membership section. You mentioned receiving a refund approval from another agent. After reviewing all internal communicationsincluding emails, chats, and support logswe were unable to find any record of a refund being approved. Our team requested a screenshot or copy of the referenced communication so that we could investigate further, but none was provided despite multiple requests. Without that verification, we are unable to override our established refund policy.We take all feedback seriously and understand how frustrating unexpected renewals can feel. We want to reassure you and other readers that our renewal terms are clearly presented at checkout and in our Terms and Conditions, and members have full control over their renewal settings through the Manage Your Membership section at any time.     They renewed me without authorization. Tried to cancel thru website the button for proceeding to cancel did not work. Phone messages are not returned.

Options include updating billing details or canceling a membership.     I only used the service once. It went well. My review has to do with Harvest Hosts renewal, payment credit card information retention and cancelation requirements. You must keep credit card or Paypal info active in their system - not optional. In order to cancel membership, you are required to explain "What excited" you when you first signed up for Harvest Hosts and why you are cancelling. You can't cancel membership without explaining why.

    Would give it a 0 if I could. They automatically charge your card without telling you then won't refund you unless its within 30 days. I didn't even use it and they won't refund my money. They offer you to "transfer your membership" what a joke. They also increased the rate, so now they say you should purchase $30(which its a suggestion) so its not really worth it most times since campgrounds have more to offer.

    Bad business, on your website has no credit card information delete section when you have canceled the membership big scam. And that is the reasons why charging people and processing unauthorized payment. I have cancelled membership last year and aging this year after I found out the charge for November 2, 2023, I need my money back. No confirmation email for cancellation?
