    Starz charged my checking account $49.09 for a semi annual fee for the next 6 months.I assumed it was fraudulent and cancelled my debit card and called them.I was given the run around by 3 different people. When I went into the account it popped up to subscribe for a year for $25.06. i told them i didn't want that either. I just wanted to entire program to be cancelled and receive my money back. I do not have access to their service, but they have my money. They were rude and not helpful. They tried to say they attempted a refund of $25.06 but the bank wouldn't let it go through. I explained I had cancelled my card because they took out the $49.09 which was unauthorized and that was the amount i needed refunded. They never took out $25.06 and it wasn't prorated because i literally called the next day after I saw the charge that wasn't authorized to begin with. I asked them to send me a paper check of the amount of $49.09 that I am owed. And they will not. This has been extremely stressful going back and forth. Why should I pay a company for services that I don't even have. Which I can show proof of all conversations and that I do not have starz available to watch. i want my money back.

    Starz Entertainment, LLC has reviewed the customer complaint. ********************** has attempted to provide the requested refund, however it appears that all transactions (including refunds) have been denied by the customer's bank as the customer has submitted a chargeback request. Starz has contacted the customer and informed them of this, and will handle the customer's request through the bank's chargeback process. We understand from the customer's bank it can take up to 60 days for the dispute process to be resolved.

    Starz Entertainment, LLC has reviewed the customer complaint. ********************** has attempted to provide the requested refund, however it appears that all transactions (including refunds) have been denied by the customer's bank as the customer has submitted a chargeback request. Starz has contacted the customer and informed them of this, and will handle the customer's request through the bank's chargeback process. We understand from the customer's bank it can take up to 60 days for the dispute process to be resolved.

    I logged in and canceled my account when the promotion was over. Instead of canceling the account they took money out of my account that was nit authorized. They are now refusing to refund money taken from my account.

    I have a unauthorized charge for starz entertainment on my bank statement for *****. I have called starz and told them of the unauthorized charges and they still try and take out *****. They are trying to do it again march 1st. I want a refund and I want them to stop.

    ********* subscription practices. I thought I cancelled, and there was no reminder that the policy would auto-renew for more than twice the price that I signed up for.

Starz has reached out to the customer for more information, including whether a different email was used, but has received no response to date. Starz will continue to attempt to follow up with the customer to resolve the issue.

    Starz is running a scam in an attempt to cage credit cards on file. I have made numerous attempts to get them to cancel the subscription and yet they run email addresses that bounce. They also want a YES response furthering deliberations instead of cancellation upon contact.

    Starz Entertainment, LLC has reviewed the complaint. Starz's customer service team required the customer to provide certain limited data to verify account ownership prior to performing the requested cancellation, as is industry standard to avoid third party misuse. The information requested was only the industry standard last four digits of the card associated with the account to verify ownership, or if they would prefer not to provide this information over the phone, the customer can alternatively ask to be sent an email to the email address on file for the account, which asks the customer to verify the cancellation request was coming from them rather than a malicious third party.  In this case, the customer elected the second option. They were sent an email asking to confirm cancellation, replied in the affirmative, and upon receiving this information, Starz promptly cancelled the customers account (which was past due). *********************** customer service team regularly communicates with customers through its email system and is unaware of any issues regarding email bounces, and indeed Starz received the customers cancellation confirmation via email in this case.

    Advertised 12 months for 24$ , I paid in full with correct email address and no streaming service was ever provided. No emails ever returned and no phone number to call is available me that I can find. Looking for a refund.

    I subscribed on the Starz app on November ******* for 3 months and when I went to get it on my tv it wouldn't load my subscription. It kept asking me to renew my subscription. I then entered info for a 7 day trial on my TV which they charged me up front for 7.98 as well as the three month of $24 I had already paid for. At 7 days I went to cancel the trial and they cancelled both subscriptions. I have tried calling and waiting on hold 1st *************************************** 2nd time I called I waited on hold and then finally asked for a call back (no one called me back) , the third time I wait on hold 23 minutes (no one answered). I have multiple emails in which every response was a different person and answer with no resolve. I wanted to speak in person to a live person but can't. I feel that they have stolen $$ from me and all I want is to watch my favorite show. Very disappointed in such a large company. And very unbusiness like that it can't be resolved and as I've read they won't refund any money or credit in order to watch the show for the time I paid for.

    1/6/25 transaction from ******** ad for starz app for 24 dollars for 2 years. On bank statement it says STARZ Entertainment. Can't log in and they say that they can't find my subscription using both emails I provided. ********************* and ****************

    Starz is offering a limited-time deal on its annual and monthly subscriptions. Right now, you can pay for 12 months of the streamer up front for just $23.99, which shakes out to just $2.99/month. Typically, one year would cost you $69.99, so this Starz streaming deal saves you a whopping 66%. If youre not willing to commit to 12 whole months of the streaming platform, you can instead opt for the monthly deal: Get three months for $2.99/month, saving 73% off the usual $10.99 price. We however recommend the 12-month deal to lock in those savings. This is the add I replied to and paid the money but when I added it to my ******* it said I needed to chat to activate it, so I did. I was informed I paid for phone streaming only and it's ***** for my TV. I asked for a refund ( 5 minutes passed) and was told no. This is not truth in advertising to me and taking advantage of a senior who obviously didn't know tv streaming isn't the same as a streaming subscription. It's crooked is what it is and I don't like crooked

    Starz Entertainment, LLC has reviewed the individual's description of their issue. It sounds like the individual subscribed through a third party service (e.g. Hulu, ******** etc.) and added Starz an "add on" channel to that third party subscription rather than subscribed through Starz's own direct-to-consumer service. To date, Starz has been unable to locate an account under the individual's information.  To confirm, Starz's customer service team has reached out to individual for information regarding where they subscribed to the Starz channel. To clarify, add-on channels are administered by those third parties, so customer subscription information, customer service support, cancellation, and the billing process are entirely handled by that third party service.  Starz does not even have access to customer name, account, subscription, or billing information for individuals who subscribe to the Starz add-on channel though such services.   

    Starz has reached out to the individual for more information so as to be able to direct them to the appropriate company to address their concerns, and will attempt to address their concerns as best it can.
