On March 15 2024 I purchased a closet from Tribesign through Amazon, paying $169.99 without tax, and $180.19 with tax. I was initially very pleased with the business's customer service and how quickly they responded to my issue, until I asked for a refund. **************** and I communicated back and forth until they stopped communicating altogether. I was building my closet with illegible instructions and pictures of screws. A particular set of screws was not provided with the closet, I immediately contacted customer support to resolve the issue, they told me what steps I had to take and I did so. I contacted customer support again and they told me to ask for an immediate refund, which I did and it was not easy. After sometime of going back and forth with the rep through email, communication stopped. The tracking number for my order number is 111-7582941-0813012 and my order tracking number is ************. Ps. I recently noticed, that I'm not the only one who has had problems with this company. I think something should be done about them in general, so that other people want have these unfortunate experiences.Initial Complaint

Original filing cabinet was delivered 12/31/23. Right at the beginning of installation, a board cracked while tightening some screws by hand. We immediately packed up the filing cabinet in the original box. I called the phone number listed on their website on 1/2/24 to state what happened and that I want to return the product for a refund. I was told that they cannot help me over the phone and that I had to email support. I was also told on the phone to deny supports responses because they will try to offer money off of the product instead of just returning the item. I emailed support 1/2/24 to let them know what happened and that I want to return the item for a full refund. From 1/2/24 to 1/5/24 they kept asking for the part # so they could send a replacement part. Since I had already packed up the filing cabinet, I did not know the part number, nor did I want a replacement part. On 1/5/24 they offered to send a replacement filing cabinet. I accepted since I was getting nowhere with them and figured maybe the replacement would be better. The replacement filing cabinet was delivered 1/17/24. There are issues with this filing cabinet also. A board is bowed and the drawers are sticking out and cannot be shut properly. There is also a board bowed on the top of the filing cabinet. I emailed support on 1/19/24 to let them know that this is defective and their responses for days were: Did you make sure this was put together properly Can you take apart and send us a video of you putting back together Can you go to a repair shop to fix And they tried to offer me money off numerous times They keep giving me the run-around and I am sick of it. This has been going on for over 1 month now. I want 2 labels so I can return 2 defective filing cabinets. And I want my full refund of $132.59. Since I paid through PayPal I filed a claim and escalated to PayPal on 2/2/24. Still waiting on the status of that claim.Initial Complaint

I ordered a 2 drawer lateral filing cabinet from Tribesigns on 11/22/2023. At the time of placing the order I asked them to send with signature confirmation so that ***** would not leave it at my front door as I would not be at home over the holiday. In addition, I called ***** and asked them to hold the package at their location in case no one was home to sign the package which was a large order. Tribesigns shipped the order immediately and it was delivered on 11/24/2023! They did not send it with a signature delivery as requested. ***** left the package at my front door and it was raining that day. As a result the package and the wood got damaged in the rain. I called ********* immediately and complained and asked why they did not send via signature confirmation. They asked me to keep the package and they would give me a $40 discount. I kept telling them that I did not want a discount and that I wanted to return the package but they told me I would have to pay for the shipment to return it. This is ridiculous because the damage was caused as a result of negligence on their part to not request signature confirmation. All I am requesting is a pre-paid shipping label to return an item I do not plan to use. I want ***** to come and pick up the packageCustomer Answer

Tribesigns and I agreed to a $95 refund but now they are stating that they are unable to issue a refund due to a technical glitch. I called my credit card company and they said that there is no ***** at their end that would prevent the refund from coming through. The problem is at Tribesign's end but they keep putting it back on me. This seems to be an unscrupulus company that is interested in manipulating the situation in a way that favors them. I am attaching their communication to me. I also suggested they mail me a check if there are technical glitches at their end but they refused.
Please help me resolve this matter,

I ordered a 7-Tier Corner Bookshelf from Tribesigns on July 30, 2023 and it arrived on August 1, 2023. I pIaced the order on July 30, 2023 and received it on Aug 1, 2023. After a few days my daughter and I attempted to assemble the unit. The directions were small with only pictures so I had to take pictures and blow them up so I could compare. The instructions said 2 people 45 mins to assemble. Well after 3 days and not being able to assemble the frame so the holes lined up for the shelf support bars I called and emailed Tribesigns to complain and ask for some help. Their emails were vague and they asked me to send pictures of what I had assembled so I did and they sent pictures back with red arrows and basically said I did it wrong. I told them I had tried all the different ways I could and nothing lined up. I told them I was very dissatisfied and wanted a refund and asked them to send a return label. This went back and forth for days, 2 weeks now and I am still getting the same response of if I don't want it I have to pay the shipping back. I have tried to file a dispute with my bank but they can't help me and they suggested I file a complaint with BBB, so here I am. I loved the look on line but it definately does not go together like they say and I dont have the time to be struggling with something they say is simple but it really isn't. I have put together more complicated pieces of furniture and this definately has something wrong with it or the instructions just are not clear enough. They do not have a video and they sent me the same instructions via email only larger which I had already done on my own.Customer Answer

I have received a 100% refund from Klarna which for so.e reason was the catalyst for the purchase. I received almost I stant results from Klarna and literally had almost 30 back and forth email conversations with Tribesigns themselves, they are very difficult to work with and will never purchase from them againInitial Complaint

I purchased a file cabinet from Tribesigns for around $200 on 7/18/23. It arrived on 7/28/23 missing 5 parts. They refused a refund and told me that replacement parts would take 3 months to ship to me (crazy, considering the product took 10 days to ship to me). They then told me to try to contact support again next week and stopped responding. It does not feel like they are actively trying to resolve the issue. Received item damaged. Box was damaged but taped with duck tape and the package was resealed. Asked for a refund but still having problems returning . I put the desk together but the desk is made cheap and once build it is wobbly. Two weeks asking for refund going back and forth with email. On 12/4/2022 I ordered the *********** *****'' H x *****'' W Iron Corner Bookcase by *********************** Design from Tribesign on Wayfair (order # **********) and paid $146.99. The bookcase arrived damaged - there is a large chip off the corner of the top shelf of the bookcase and one of the metal pole tops is missing its cap. I contacted Tribesigns support team via email on 1/17/23, the day I discovered the issue when trying to assemble the bookcase. I sent pictures of the missing and damaged parts asking for replacements. I received a reply saying they would ship them to me and it would take 3-5 days. Its been over a month and I have followed up multiple times via email and calling and speaking to a support person and I have yet to receive the parts or any indication they have actually been sent. My last email a few weeks ago went unanswered. This company is not standing by their product and not making this right. I just want what I paid for.Initial Complaint

We purchased a desk last March it was put together correctly. My son put his computer tower on top and the desk top flipped up and broke off. It is now damaged. I contacted the company. They told me it was under warranty and they would replace the desk top but it would take 3 months. I sent pictures like I was asked to do. There was no issue. They still said they would replace it free of charge but it would take 3 months. I asked about replacing the entire desk since it seemed like that would take less time. I received an email saying that they would replace the desk instead of just the top. Now they are saying the damage was our fault and they will not replace the desk top free that we would need to pay 50% which is ***** and it would still take 3 months. The worst part is the desk on costs $189. I will never buy from this company again. Their customer service is terrible. I would just like a refund or the desk replaced.Initial Complaint
