    On ***** I had ****** an employee of Anywhere Router come to my home We set up a future date to fix the problem he wanted to have the credit card number then and I didn't have the money to do that so I gave him $100 in cash and he was reluctant to get give me the receipt which I did get anyway come the date that they were supposed to fix the problem they sent a couple of flunkies and I declined them to come into my home And then I called the office and spoke to ****** who was very rude and would not give me any names of managers or owners I also spoke with ********* She did the same thing and said that they were gonna keep the $100 as some kind of a deposit when it was totally allocated for the final price of this job I sent a registered letter to the owner with no reply I'd like my $100 return to me and I wanna make sure that we can do everything we can to dissuade people from dealing with this company thank you ****** J ***** ************

    We appreciate your business. As stated, when scheduling the original service, our service charge is $124.95 for diagnosis. That cost does indeed go toward any future repairs, which you refused when you sent our service technicians away. You did not pay the full service charge even at the time of diagnosis, so we do not owe any refund to you. In fact, we are owed $24.95. If you need a plumber in the future, please keep us in mind.

    Monday May 5th approximately 2pm. *******, from Anywhere Rooter, got out of his truck that he thought was parked, but wasn't and it rolled, crashed into our rock retaining wall and rod iron fencing. The damage is to the fence, vehicle fluids and oil covering the rocks and knocked down several rocks. My husband and I have called the company, Anywhere Rooter, 7 times and are always told "my manager/owner" is in a meeting. Then nothing. I filed a property damage report with the ********************* also as they instructed. We have not used this company for a service.

    **** *.Englewood, ** 030 May 1, 2025 Why didn't I look at Yelp before I hired Anywhere Rooter! Here's my saga.* I hired Anywhere Rooter to unclog my garbage disposal. 2 (plumbers?) arrived at 8pm. * At 10pm a young lady showed up and said she ran a camera down the drain and I need to replace 10 feet of the drain. They showed me the drain coming down from the garbage disposal. It had cracks that looked like it had to be replaced. Now I think they had this rusted out pipe in their truck. They took a picture of the pipe. I couldn't verify it because I'm in a wheelchair and can't go down the stairs to my basement. So I signed for $5200 of work to replace 10 feet of underground pipe. The young lady said that any charges incurred previously in the evening would be waived.* They came out the next day and spent 2 hours and I was told the next step was to have the city sign off on the work. They couldn't tell me when that would be.*The girl came back the next day and said she ran a camera ********* feet and the whole section would have to be replaced. An additional $9200. In a moment of weakness I signed another contract. The finance company is ********. After speaking to my wife who was out of the country, she told me I was crazy to agree to have this work done. 2 hours after I signed with ******** I called them to cancel. They were gracious and canceled the agreement.* I called the girl 3 times to let her know about not going ahead with the work. I called her again the next morning and left another message. In a few minutes she called me and started screaming at me, She told me I owed Anywhere Rooter a 25% cancellation fee. I explained I had no contract to have the work done. She continued to scream at me. I hung up on this sorry excuse for a salesperson.

    When you signed for the original work, the invoice contract stated that all cancellations are subject to a 25% cancellation fee. This is to cover materials, time, mileage, etc. You are always welcome to seek another opinion and to ultimately choose another company, and we stand by our contract.

    This company has been very unprofessional throughout this whole process, their tactics in how they operate are unacceptable. It's been a week since the start of this nightmare, they have funds for an incomplete project and now no communication from *** the guy that has been on site and receiving the funds, I called the company to speak to a manager yesterday and was told by ******* that he would return my phone call after their meeting yesterday and still no return phone call. Friday we were told someone would come to turn our water on and that *** would call me to update me on the status of completing the job. Still no water or update and holes still in my yard. My father is the homeowner and a senior citizen, 3 people live here and 2 dogs that water is a necessity.

    4/16/2025 Water Heater Replacement Originally quoted $2400 Onsite the bill grew to $4012. My mother is a senior and she did not know better to ask questions regarding such a large price jump. I feel they took advantage of her *** and age. We were told someone would be back out to finish the work and complete the inspection. They have not completed unclogging the drains or the final inspection. We initially received a bill for $3720, but later that same day we received an updated invoice for $4012. I have tried reaching a manger to resolve the price increases and non completed service issues. No one calls me back. I emailed them and wrote a review. Following receiving the email and review the technician called my mom stating he will not unclog her drains until I remove the review. This is a service that was already included that was Not completed. This is bullying and uncalled for. I have read their reviews and several others have shared similar experiences.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Your quote went from $2400 to $4012, $1600 dollars more, almost doubling the price. We have asked for an itemized receipt and this was not provided. We have asked for a manager to call us (5 times now) about our concerns and this has not been done. We are still waiting on drains to be unclogged as promised and this has not been done. We are waiting on an inspection of the installation and product and this still has not been completed.  My mother received a call from the technician following our posted review and was both argued with and bullied when the technician stated he would not return to unclog the drains unless we remove our review.  These are the reasons we are requesting that you honor your original quote of $2400 provided to her. We know that you are running a business and have overhead, we only seek fairness, which thus far, fairness has not been your goal for this situation. 

    Also, for clarification, two young adults under the age of 21 and whom do not share any ownership of the property are definitely NOT capable of making sound decisions on such an expensive home repair.

    We do not provide itemized invoices. The inspection was completed on 4/24 at 2:33pm and passed. We had an appointment scheduled to unclog the drains, but we were called to cancel using very explicit language toward our staff. There is nothing further we can do for you.

    When they first came to my home and had me pay $300 for a partial fee for a service to be done on the 29th. The guy had told me I would be first thing first priority. I had scheduled my day around this and waited and waited. Nobody showed up or called me. I had to call them later that day around 3 30 pm and they told me the tech called in sick that day and they wanted to reschedule. I said that will not do and I would like a refund. 10 minutes later after I already had left my home having to have gone somewhere scheduled that day. A tech calls me trying to come to my house. I told them it's too late. I had been waiting all day and nobody showed up. Come Monday I spoke to their office and the lady tried to lie to me and tell me the scheduled time was between 12:00 and 4. :00 obviously on the invoice there is not a written time but I do have a witness of the man that was in my home and told me that I would be first thing first priority that day after I handed him $300. They're trying to withhold money for a 25% cancellation fee but it holds no ground when they have voided their own contract. She was very rude and condescending told me that if there would be a refund it would take 4 to 6 weeks which is also unacceptable.

    Hello ******, I'm just following up on this. Anywhere rooter was supposed to send my refund of 300$ to me and I still havent recieved it. The boss man rudely told me it would take 4-6 weeks. He called me late at night at ************ and was extremely rude. It's now week 6 and I cannot wait any longer. Can we reopen the case until I've received a check or some form of payment from them?

    Your refund is still processing, but should arrive in the next few days. Your refund is not $300 as you stated in your complaint, however. It is the $300 minus the service charge for the original diagnostics as was discussed over the phone.

    I was routed to this plumbing company by a mass marketing number thats run by a manic sounding robot voice, they set me up with an appointment and asked for my email and phone number, but they never provided their phone number and I couldn't find the company name in my searches. I had to reschedule the appointment today but haf nobody to call and no email or text confirmation to reference for a call back number.. The day of the appointment I was awoke after coming home from an overnight shift at work by a call from an unknown number it was anywhere rooters dispatcher, I told her she didn't send me any confirmation of the appointment but she wouldn't let me speak kept cutting me and was overall disrespectful in her demeanor. Instead of rescheduling at this point I cancelled the appointment and told her "DO NOT SEND ANYBODY TO MY HOUSE, YOUR COMPANY ISNT WELCOME HERE." The plumber still showed up and rang my door ****. I should have to call the ****** police department and trespass an innocent plumber for an incompetent dispatchers mistakes. I highly recommend retraining this dispatcher in basic customer service and ensuring the customer has at least a call back number for situations like this... All she said is "We don't send appointment confirmation" well its going to keep costing your company time and money as long as you are signed up for a mass marketing phone number. I replied "I'd rather work with professionals" she with attitude said "we are professional" well from my experience professionals respect their clients and should have to have the police called on them to stay away from private property. I tried calling back to speak with a supervisor and they hang up the phone without an answer now. This employee, your dispatcher is going to cost you thousands of dollars, thousands of hours, and even bring legal trouble for your organization. Please beware.

    1/4/2025 Service Visit: ****** came over to address the issue and was paid for the service. He stated that one of his workers would return the next day to finish the job and inspect the sewer line.1/5/2025 Service Visit by *******: ******* came to check the sewer, which was part of the service paid for on 1/4.A down payment of $7,400 was made for a separate service ******* claimed was necessary, totaling $9,400.******* stated she would return the following day to obtain a signature for authorization but never came back or called.1/6/2025 Cancellation Attempt: Called multiple times (8:55 AM, 11:28 AM, 11:50 AM, 5:26 PM, and 6:25 PM) to cancel the service and request a refund.The staff repeatedly directed me to *******, who was supposed to address the matter.******* never showed up or called back despite assurances from the company that they would follow up.1/7/2025 Follow-Up Calls: Called twice in the morning with no response. My husband eventually called and was met with complications regarding the refund.*********** still refused to process the refund.When I called back, they stated that nothing could be done until a manager became available.I never received a follow-up call from a manager.1/8/2025 8:12 AM: Called to address the issue, but the call was disconnected (hung up).8:17 AM: Called back to request a refund to be issued back to my fe *********** stated they would retain 25% of the payment.I explained that no forms, invoices, services, or signatures were provided, so I did not agree to the retention.The representative raised their voice, upset about a review I had written at their request. The review was honest and professional, expressing dissatisfaction with their services.When I requested a full refund, they questioned the consequences of not providing it. I responded that if the full refund was not issued, we would resolve the matter in court.

    Upon a sewerage backup, I called Anywhere Rooter to my residence around 10/13/24 (snake, flush, and camera diagnosis was completed and paid for). A few days later, my partner did not recognize the charges of $2300.00 and reported it to our bank, and the charge was placed back into our account. Unfortunately, when I called to ask for the service report and sewer-line replacement quote to be emailed to me, Anywhere Rooter (*******) brought to my attention that payment was not received. I immediately called the bank to figure out what happened. That same day, the "suspected fraud" was reversed to Anywhere Rooter. I immediately called back, apologizing to ******* for the mistake and that they would receive their money promptly for the job. I emailed her the case# for the reversal of funds and have attached it to this complaint. Even after the payment mistake was complete, Anywhere Rooter withheld the quote so I could give it to my insurance company. On the day of the service, The fleet manager/plumber (**** or *****? I am not sure of his name) said that after the camera diagnosis, we had a "belly" in the sewerage line, and it would need replacement. To this day, I have NOT received the sewer line estimate. Every time I call their office, I get a runaround, and the employees are extremely rude. Withholding info and a condescending tone (I think there is a note on my file because I get the 3rd degree from everyone in that office after they look me up). ******* is the main person I have been working with. She has NOT returned my calls or emails and still hasn't sent me the quote.I have called 5 to 6 times since they received payment, and NO one will finish my request for the original quote for the new sewer line. My house is in shambles, and I need this quote to repair the line. I have been patient, even letting the holidays pass, but when I called today, and the guy was rude, it was my last straw. Thank you for your time and assistance with this issue. ******* ********

    To whom it may concern. I want to reopen complaint ID ******** in hopes of getting this resolved. I paid for the service (invoice attached) in October 2025 and was informed by the technician who performed the video scope that I needed a sewer line replacement. I still have not received a quote for the sewer line replacement. I checked my inbox, spam, deleted, and "all" mail and found no email from them. I called Anywhere Rooter after their email to the BBB, stating they sent me the line quote. I called Anywhere Rooter to confirm they had the correct email address for me on file since I had not received the sewer line quote or any correspondence from them. When I called, I faced the usual runaround, unable to speak to ******* because, once again, surprise, surprise, she was unavailable. However, the woman I spoke with confirmed they had my correct email address (********************************************************************************). While on the phone with her (she refused to provide her name), I asked her to resend the quote since they had my correct email address. Additionally, since their response to the BBB and this claim and my call to them, I have not received any quote for the video diagnosis (a belly in the line) to date. 

     

    ******, in the attachment, I also highlighted the area of notes on the invoice from Anywhere Rooter, 

    where the technician (****?) is scheduled to come to my residence that night to do the camera scope. He was the lead tech and had the camera system in his vehicle, and he was the one who performed the scope of my sewer line that evening alongside the other tech (****?). I am asking for the quote to replace my sewer line to be emailed to me, that is it. 

    Or, send the quote by certified mail. I will even drive to their office and pick it up. Please, Anywhere Rooter, enough with the games. 

     

    If this business continues to play games, I will have no choice but to go to the media.
