Im not sure how I initially signed up for this astrology service but I began being charged in December of 2023. I emailed customer service requesting they cancel my account on 3/16. They sent me back an email recommending that I log into the app and cancel from there. I downloaded the app and am unable to log in because I never signed up for an account. Lets say I clicked on something in a different app in December when I initially started being charged $19.99 weekly, then that would be my mistake, I paid a lot of money for a service I never used. But then after I reached out asking them to cancel the account, they havent. Their instructions to cancel via the app do not work. Since I requested my account be canceled, they have continued charging me $19.99 eleven more times, totaling $219.89. I would like them to cancel my account and send me a refund of $219.89.Initial Complaint

On July 31, I signed up for a $1 one-week trial with this company to access an Astrology report. Somehow, I was charged a subscription fee of $29.99 for a two-week subscription. I then was charged for an astrology consultation that I did not want. I never spoke to an astrologist and I'm sure their records show that. I have tried to email this company with no favorable result. I feel that Astroline is a deceptive company that billed me $49.98 that I did not agree to or want additional services.Initial Complaint

I paid $1 for a 7 day trial of their services on 7/18/24. I went onto my account on 7/24/24 and canceled my subscription. I got an email saying how they were sad to see me go the usual when you cancel something. Then I got an email today (7/25) stating that I was charged $19.99 for services for the next 2 weeks. When I contacted them to ask for a refund, I first got a confirmation email saying that my subscription was cancelled.. weird since I canceled it on their site yesterday. Then I got a reply to my refund request stating that I agreed to their billing policies when starting my trial which included speaking with someone from customer service 24 hrs prior to the trial ending or cancel my account on their website (which I did). They included screenshots of generic signup process with dates from May, so they are obviously notorious for s******* people out of their money when trying to cancel if they have to have screenshots on hand. I agreed to the trial. I canceled before the trial period was up. They are shady and charged me anyway. I just want my $19.99 back.Initial Complaint

I found this company on an Instagram ad for an astrology quiz. I went through the quiz, and at the end it asks if you want to pay $1 for the results and to use the app for a one-week trial, so I just did it out of curiousity. Immediately after paying $1, it showed a list of add on reports that gave the impression that you can click on them to learn more. What they do a very bad job at making obvious is that by clicking on the report option, you are being charged for the report. I checked my bank account and saw that I had a charge of $29.99 from them and was shocked because I would NEVER pay almost $30 for a stupid PDF. There are several other reports on this company basically being a scam and stealing the same situation that Im in. The company sent me a screenshot of the page that tells you by clicking one button, you will make the purchase. However, its in barely visible fine print at the bottom of the page. I feel like Ive had $29.99 literally stolen from me from an Instagram ad and the company refuses to refund because according to their Money Back Policy, they dont refund if you bought something within the ****** or App Store. Also, the website makes you bookmark the webpage as an app on an iPhone Home Screen in order to view the quiz results. Which is completely shady since they dont refund in-app purchases..yet it forces you to download it.Initial Complaint

Like I seen in the complaints, this also happened to me I also authorized a charge for $1 for a trial subscription to their service. Once I logged in, I was forced to click through the app, and one of the clicks charged me $29.99 for a report I NEVER did not want. There was no authorization for my credit card; they just charged me. I sent an email the second I noticed what they did. They were not very nice at all and did also insist that I chose to make this charge and will not refund me. I'm very very sure I did not click on the button at all, this must be crazy illegal... How can they get away with this??Initial Complaint

I signed up for the trial and on the same day cancelled through the website. I clicked cancel and got an email with the subject Astroline: Subscription Cancellation and the first sentence We're genuinely sad you've decided to end your journey with us. So I didnt read further. Oh that was a mistake because they have a hidden hyperlink at the bottom of the paragraph they send where you have to click ANOTHER thing to cancel. I got an email after the trial period that Id been charged and no less than 20 minutes later did I request a refund on this because I wouldnt be using it and I didnt want to be charged. After 5 (!) days they finally email me back and say too bad you didnt cancel within the trial period. After reading other reviews they seem pretty predatory. The response I got seemed 100% copy and pasted. No real person caring what theyd done.Initial Complaint

They have continued to charge me an amount in increments of ***** even though I did not sign up for this. they charged me $30 at one point(WHY?) and then they continue to charge me even after I canceled my subscription with another ***** charge AGAIN and then refuse to respond to my emails once I send proof that my subscription was canceled. This is the worst business ever. A huge scam, stealing money and non responsive. do not EVER use it - 86$ theyve charged me in under a month when I cancelled and never agreed to this to begin withInitial Complaint

Apprx March 24,2024 i purchased a $1 astrology gig that gave me 7days to decide if i wanted a star chart or subscription . On same day i sent email cancelling anything to do with Astroline. On Apr 2,2024 they charged my cardv$39.99 i promptly wrote them another email and attached my original cancellation email - they wrote back 10days later telling me to contact my bank because they werent charging me - they went so far as to tell me it must be an Apple problem . I couldnt get my money back and now they are trying several attempts a day since May 2,2024 to charge me $39.99 again. Thankfully my card denied it because it seemed suspicious and *** written again today to Astroline to tell them not to charge me and i atttached my previous correspondence with them and yet they have tried 2more times tonight to charge me . When is Attorney General for whatever state they are in going to to step up and charge they scam artists for all their illegal business practices ??? Its wrong and Im sure they are making hundreds of thousands of dollars just on this one scam!Initial Complaint

This site charged me for a trial I canceled the same day and refuse to refund me. They keep trying to sell me other useless items instead. It took several days for an actual human to respond to my email and they just keep offering things I don't even want. I just want the money they took for the trial I canceled. I noticed many other complaints online and I want nothing to do with this company.Customer Answer
