I signed up for $1 7 day and was charged $20 after my initial one dollar payment. They are claiming that I subscribed to be charged $20 every two weeks which I did not do and I feel like their practices are deceptive.

An ad for this company popped up in my Instagram feed and I was interested in the Astrocartography. Once I provided my birth info, I was given the option to purchase a trial. I chose the 2-week trial for $5.49 and double clicked Apple Pay to approve it. Next thing I saw was an indication that my Apple Pay was then charged $29.99 for another report--a birth chart report-- which I DID NOT chose or approve. I reached out to the company IMMEDIATELY and informed them what had happened. They sent back an email indicating that I had in fact approved this purchase and referred me to their no refund policy. Again, I reached out and asked for a resolution. As of the last email I sent requesting a refund, there was no response. So I decided to file this complaint with BBB and saw instantly that others had reported the SAME deceptive tactics as the app intentionally makes it difficult to see that you are inadvertently agreeing to something you did not intend. I would like them to refund the $29.99. This should simply be a matter of good faith if they want customers. But it seems they would rather employ deceptive practices to stay in business. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE. It's clearly only about money. Once you reach out to them, they send an email saying that your refund request does not meet their refund policy--which apparently is ONLY applicable to purchases made on their website NOT through the app. How convenient and deceptive. Because they know that most people, like myself, are scrolling on mobile devices and click on an Instagram link etc. I am NOT contesting the $5.49 2-week trial charge. That is what I actually chose.

I signed up for the trial period. I can't cancel the subscription. When you start the process it forces you through several attempts to get you to stay but the last option only lets you "continue with a free month." You can't cancel!!!

This company advertises services, but tricks you into touching or clicking things on their site thinking youre going to read information on it, but its actually a charge button. That charges you money. Its trickery. Its misleading. It should be banned.

In February 2025, I signed up for a $1 trial with Astroline. I canceled the trial within the proper timeframe to avoid further billing. Despite this, I was charged $19.99 four separate times, totaling $79.96.I contacted the company, and they responded stating that their Money Back Policy does not cover my request. However, they failed to explain why and provided no justification for charging me after I had already canceled.I reviewed their terms and could not find any clause that permits them to continue billing customers after a trial has been canceled. This appears to be a pattern of deceptive billing. The business is also not BBB accredited and has numerous similar complaints, which raises concerns about their practices.I am requesting a full refund of $79.96 for the unauthorized charges. I would prefer to resolve this without escalating it further, but will not hesitate to dispute the charges through my bank and file a report with the *** if this is not resolved promptly.

Astroline did respond to me directly and issued a partial refund of $39.98. However, I was charged a total of $79.96 after canceling my free trial on February 15, 2025. The charges were as follows:

    • February 22, 2025 $19.99
    • March 8, 2025 $19.99
    • March 22, 2025 $19.99
    • April 5, 2025 $19.99

    Total charged: $79.96

    Amount refunded: $39.98

    Remaining amount owed: $39.98

I have followed up with the company several times, and while they acknowledged the refund, they have not explained why only half was returned. To support this update, I am attaching screenshots showing the original charges, the refund confirmation, and all relevant email communications.

Please keep the case open while this matter remains unresolved. Let me know if you need anything else from me to move forward.

    Sincerely,

    ***** ******

I was told that after I paid $1 for a trial, that my subscription would be cancelled, $and I would not be charged. I have the emails to prove it. However yesterday I WAS charged, and when I asked for a refund they denied me. I will include those RUDE emails as well.

I saw an ad on Instagram for their hand reading. I started the process and got to a point where they asked for $1 to see my results. There was no agreement, nothing about a subscription. I paid the $1 and then the next page they are saying I have to pay more money to actually see my results. Then I was charged $19.99 because they said I signed up for a subscription. Which I did not. I reached out to them and they refuse to give me my money back and are saying I signed an agreement. Sending me screen shots of the agreement I never saw.

I subscribed to this for a discounted two week trial for $5. The company has a very deceptive site, where a big blue button says see my pdf, which I thought was a part of the free trial. Then I got charged an extra $***** for this pdf of placed I could live that is so extremely vague and not anything I would have purchased. I told them I didn't want this and their site is deceptive to not show the ***** charge but just a big blue button to continue to your trial info. She responded that I did authorize it and my reasoning didn't fall in their refund policy. This is a total unethical way of getting money from people and I would like my ***** refunded.
