      Was made aware that this company has my information and enrolled unknown person into a lifeline mobile phone account. Filed an fcc identity theft report. Called the number from their website i was put on hole for 10mins with no answer.

      I am unsure which Excess Telecom, Inc. sent me the text. In any case, I have reviewed the complaints and I am letting the BBB know that I also have received a text message saying that my *** benefits were transferred to Excess Telecom, Inc. However, I never made this request. I see that this has happened to multiple people. I do not know if it is identity theft or the company making the switch illegally. I called the *** helpline after verifying the contact information on the internet through several different .gov ********* and they say that my *** services have not been transferred. I plan on waiting a week and calling the helpline back again to make sure it just didn't show up due to a time lag. I let the *** helpline know that evidently this issue is something happening to multiple people.

      i inquired about their free tablet and service and without my ******* consent, they transferred my ACP from Sonic to them and then fought me for 2 hours about only having one service at a time! i never made an order with them but apparently an inquiry is the same as ordering???? if i go to Red ***** and ask about 3 dishes but not order any of them, im not expecting to get those 3 meals but according to Excess, i ordered all 3 without actually placing the order!!! AVOID THESE SCAMMERS AT ALL COST IMO!!! After waiting 30 min just to speak to their customer support and an additional 20 min with a very thick accented woman, SHE HUNG UP ON ME! F YOU EXCESS!!!!

      Was charged by a ******* company $11.18 at the same time I submitted my payment. It has been 2 weeks and I just called the company where an agent insists it is legitimate and was told to allow an additional 2 weeks from today. Four weeks for something supposedly shipped from CA but was charged in ******?I should have done my due diligence and looked into the company better.

      Don't know who they are, except that they are telling the National ACP verifier that I have a contract with them. Called to get them to correct their records and got a recording; so am assuming that they are a scam/fraud operation. I left a message with my phone number; will ber reporting them to the National Verifier if I don't hear back from them soon.

      this company sent me a tablet and records claim that they charged me $11 for, per EBB requirements, but they never did. this is probably because it is so sub-par it never could connect to any webpage correctly, producing an error code that the memory required is not available. that is only if wifi works, because it doesn't at all, requiring a factory reset to re-enable the antenna. this erases everything. it is supposed to be connected to a 4g network, via SIM, but the tablet has never seen a SIM card at all. they have been receiving the reimbursement from govt since November 2021 and still, my service never worked. they sent me numerous warnings that they were going to shut me down because my account never uses my data. they de-enerolled me without crediting my account. I asked for an RMA to return to them their faulty tablet and they told me if I didn't want it I could throw it away, but I bought it and that is that, guess it's my fault for choosing a bad company. now my connected device credit has been wasted. they are not concerned with having duped me into doing business with them. they are condescending when I can manage to get a hold of them.

      what's even more insulting is that I believe they have blocked me from their webpage, chat and I would be willing to bet if I called up the only number they provide that they would not accept my call.

      do yourself a favor and find a different provider, this one is inept and rude about it.
