Starting on 5/8/24, I have received five separate text messages from ************** stating "a request to transfer ACP benefit to excess telecom is complete." Since I had no idea what this is, I looked into it and saw what type of company it is. The text messages keep coming. I called the number provided in the text ***************). The person I spoke to said she could not help me or take my number out of their system unless I gave her my personal information including name, address and social security number. When I explained none of that information should be in their system so it wouldn't help anything, she said she could not do anything further without that information. She told me she could not take my phone number out of the system and could not give me any reason as to why my number was in their system. Now I am questioning whether someone is using my information, including phone number.

I am rejecting this response because: I am still actively receiving text messages from them, as recently as of today (5/29). I also was not not informed if any of my personal information was compromised or how they got my phone number.

05/10/2024 I received a text message to my phone number indicating a Lifeline benefit transfer to Excess Telecom initiated 5/8/2024 was completed . I have never heard of Excess Telecom and had not initiated any business with them and have no intention of doing any business with them .Any application or process in which my number is being use is definitely not legitimate.

On May 6 th I entered a link service to help the homeless population at with point I encountered a table at which sat two individuals representing the excess telecom free phones. I sat down and was drawn in by the offer of a new tablet he said they were free and all he needed was my benefits card and California id . I explained to him that I was already enrolled with assurance and he said that I qualify for two lines through the acp program. I was over joyed because I believed him that my other phone would not be disconnected in any way. At which point he asked for my last four of my SSN address and previous phone number. He then handed me his card ************************* was his name but he worked with another man as well his name I did not get. Furthermore I received my phone and news that I did not qualify for the tablet which initially **** me to their table. I left with a extra phone no tablet. Thinking nothing of the encounter I left only to receive a call from ACP informing me that my other phone with assurance wireless was disconnected because ACP can only Cover one line also it's because I switched subscribers from assurance wireless to excess now am left with excess and I can't even access my new account with ********************** using their login process because I wasn't given my login pin/password and when I try to access it was a new password reset proces it says error I tried calling their phone and I can't reach them I used their chat service and I doesn't let me continue. In conclusion I was lied to losing my assurance wireless phone and can't access my account. Please Help correct my issue at least excess my account.Thank you Sincincerly, *******************

This company CONTINUALLY calls even after I've told them I no longer want their free service. I used to get several calls a day and I'm down to a handful now. They don't stay on the line long enough to be able to tell them to stop calling but they'll hang up immediately after you say no to their question of whether you want to keep their service. This company is a pain in a**, don't ever ask for the FREE service they provide unless you're truly using it every day. I'm betting it's a way to watch and track us anyway.

This company has twice transferred my lifeline service from my current provider, Qlink, to their company without my knowledge or consent and after I have made the effort to restore my service to Qlink only to continue to have them transfer my service back to themselves. I dont know who they are but this is very inconvenient and is causing me distress due to my disabilities and my impaired functions and my need for continuous cell service that is uninterrupted by these degenerates who are doing this to earn a buck, at my expense and to my detriment.

This company calls me EVERY day multiple times per day, even Sunday. I've asked them to stop. To cancel any services they provide. They hang up every time I ask them to stop. I've blocked countless numbers. They call on another number every time. I've threatened legal action. They just hang up. Last Sunday, 4/28/24, they called 9 times!
