Refund and Exchange Policy

Following are a few things that Smartairfare wants you to know when you decide to cancel your booking or are looking for a refund:

1. Taxes or any miscellaneous fee come under additional charges, and are influenced by the Government. These charges will either be included in your fare or will be mentioned separately in the checkout section so that you will be able to track the details of what you’re paying for. According to rules and regulations, taxes are also applicable at the time of ticket purchasing.
2. Smartairfare is not responsible for any kind of fluctuation in the taxes while booking the tickets. A non-refundable fee that will be charged for every ticket will be mentioned as a part of the price of the actual ticket.
3. If your itinerary needs the issuance of the paper tickets, then only the handling and shipping fees will be charged. If your tickets are rerouted, returned or undelivered, then, in that case, you'll have to pay an extra re-handling fee. If this fee is applicable, it'll be mentioned in your contract, already.
4. If the air travel itinerary changes, permitted by the airline fare rules, you’ll have to pay the change fee to the airline itself, which could range from $200 to $500 on every ticket. This rate varies as per the carrier, market, and specific fare rule.
5. If you want to make any changes with Smartairfare in your itinerary, then a processing fee will be charged for each and every ticket. While most of the tickets are non-refundable once booked, some of the tickets might be refundable after paying a fee which varies from $200 to $500.
