1 starI would give it a zero if that was ab option. I started the program in December 2023. My son was shot and killed *** 16th 2024. I let them know of my situation as soon as I was able to wrap my head around life, about two weeks later. I still have not been able to get my life back to "normal".. And at this time, dealing with courts and trials there was no way I could continue. They offered to assistance in what I could do and no refund. So, I have to keep paying for this course that won't be able to receive a certificate/degree. Please don't enroll and if you do I hope you don't have a life changing event in your life that will hinder your course.Review fromJonathan L

1 starI took a course bundle with ed2go, through Cyanna or Cengage starting in 2020 that was supposed to prepare me for my Comptia A+, Network +, and Security + exams. The quality of the course I was paying for I learned was very poor to the level I felt I had been scammed. There was no way that the material provided would prepare me to take and pass any of the comptia exams. There was no interaction with an instructor, the quizes were on material that was not present on ed2go's own class exam. The class exam contained material that I had not encountered previously in their course. Not to mention the exam for their class was about 90 questions, but at the 40 question mark the questions started repeating so it was actually half as many questions. I spent nearly 5 thousand dollars on this course for the poorest quality material I have ever seen. I then emailed my facilitator and requested a refund for the class only to be told that I could only request a refund within 10 days. As someone who works full time and had to study when I had the time available, there was no way I was going to be able to successfully audit this class in 10 days and determine its quality. Instead, the actual solution provided to me by a representative of Cyanna or Ed2go (they made accountability incredibly confusing) was to literally go look at study questions OUTSIDE the class. After being stonewalled with no chance of a refund I requested my vouchers that were supposed to be included with the class only to be informed that I had to complete the class or they wouldn't give me my vouchers to take the CompTIA exam. So I was forced to waste my time and finish the class just to get the vouchers that I had already paid for. I feel I was thoroughly taken advantage of by ed2go with unfair business practices.Review fromAnani J

1 starThis ed2go is a scam! I advise you, people! DO NOT fall into this trap!! they are scammers! They said they offer classes online through **************************, but that college has nothing to do with this scamming. I have reached out to **************************. They have no idea of the existence of this ed2go agency. Ed2go took my money for a medical assisting class to tell me after that what I paid for was not valid to work as a medical assistant. When I called them, they kept transferring me to different lines where a bunch of people who they don't know what I was talking about. In the end, they all hung up on me. I tried to call with different numbers and when I gave my name they just hung up! I ADVISE EVERYONE!!!! ED2GO IS A SCAM!!!!Review fromFrancisco A

1 starThere was no point in me even takong this corse. ****************** callege places this corse in a spotlight as if you get legitimate credit for it or valid certificate for work. It should be stated in bold writing "WILL BE AWARDED CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION FROM SCHOOL BUT NO COLLEGE CREDITS WILL BE GIVEN AND THIS CERTIFICATE IS NOT NEEDED AT ALL FOR ACCEPTANCE AT A JOB"I work in special needs sevices, homeless service, and I was trying to get into this field to help people. Dispointed, doesn't begin to describe how I feel after putting myself in debt to pay this class and the countless hours studying for nothing.Review fromCathy M

1 starI enrolled in the Accounts Payable course with IOFM certification. The course is way over priced. I only took this course, thinking it would look good on my resume, since ** going back to work after retiring. Its a lot of reading, quiz taking, and then the final test for certification. I just didnt feel it was worth the hefty price tag of $1295. If youre looking at this course, and youre paying for it yourself, I wouldnt do it.Review fromKimberley C

1 starThis company is a scam. Spent $3,000 for a "Medical Coding Course" WITH a promised externship...The class was a joke. Taught basic level information that didn't even really TEACH medical coding. Once you finish the course, you're on your own. They send you a link to the **** website where you have to teach yourself for months how to code. Also there's no externship, but they don't tell you that until you reach out after your course is finished. They tell you that externships aren't available due to COVID, and then they tell you to reach out to companies yourself and see if they'll let you intern for them. I stopped responding to them and they harassed me multiple times a week by email and phone call asking if I reached out to companies myself to intern. They haven't updated their information about their externships either, which is false advertisement. After you pass your exam, you then have to spend another $300, plus another monthly membership to have "Apprentice" removed from your certification. None of this information is provided before spending $3,000; if people were aware prior to enrolling, they wouldn't. Do yourself a favor, skip Ed2Go, go directly to **** and buy a membership for $300 for the year. They'll do everything Ed2Go promised to teach you, but without the ****% markup fee.Review fromAnne D

1 starI enrolled in two programs with Ed2Go for training for ****************** certificate and for another course. They did not allow me to complete the second part of the course because they did not send me the second part because they said I didn't finish the first part of the course which I passed with 85% and they said I needed to finish all the questions. I had questions on a certain chapter and emailed the student advisor to ask the instructor to call me to answer my questions but months went by and never got the help I needed. Then I inquired about the second part of my course and they told me I either have to drop the course, appeal it which will not happen because I only have 1 month to finish and is impossible because I would have to complete the rest of the questions for the first part of the course and take the second part of the course which woud take over 3 months to complete or pay again to take the program because I didn't finish the first part. This place is such a SCAM. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. I want a refund for my course because they did not respond to my questions I had to complete the course which is not my fault. I sent numerous emails to the Instructor which was difficult to get a response from her. I have a demanding job which I started when I also stated this program. I wanted this to be investigated. The staff is not helpful. I wish this place goes out of business soon! Please help everyone that have been taken advantage of. They are thieves and robbers.Review fromSheree G

1 starBecause I can not give zero stars. As a partner with *********************** I was referred to this company for training. I received routine emails about general housekeeping issues. During the course however I had some personal issues ( death of my son, disability issues, mainly) and reached out for and additional 3 days to one week extension to complete the Digital court reporting and legal Transcription. I spent over **** of my own money thinking I'd be able to do this job from home and provide a better living for myself. They responded they could only offer and extension for 6 weeks for $150. No concession or assistance. I was not willing or able to pay that additional money to only complete to remaining final for legal Transcription. I have not even received the certificate of completion for the court reporting portion that I completed in its entirety. I was not satisfied with this company and would not recommend to anyone. I have also submitted my complaint and concern to *********************** so any disabled, vet or other person who may have life happen while taking any program by this company can be aware of their lack of care for customers and only interest in gilding the ***** Keep looking this experience was not worth the hassle.Review fromPamela M

1 starBeware. Do not enroll and pay tuition for their online classes. I paid $2700 for the Game Artist Professional Certificate program and there is only one teacher available who lectures for the 3D Modeling courses only. The Digital Art and Real Engine courses no longer have online teachers available to answer questions. The 3D modeling teacher is assigned to these classes and admits that he doesnt know the answers. His assignments do not match the lectures given by teachers who are no longer there. Ed2go will not give me a refund past 10 days of enrollment. It took a couple months for me to complete the 3D modeling courses, which are fine, only to realize there arent any teachers for the rest of the classes! Ed2go denied my request for a refund because it was past 10 days and didnt ask why I wanted a refund. They could care less that there arent teachers available! Please beware of their false promises!Review fromSiobhan P

1 starI recently enrolled in an online course for Medical Billing and Coding through my local community college . ed2go is refusing to mail the textbooks that were included in the price for the course . I have emails from them stating they would mail textbooks and need them to start the course . I called today to follow up and I was told that one is on back order and the other one is outdated and no longer available- The ebook version of the textbooks they have substituted for the actual textbooks are not adequate.
Extremely frustrating and disappointing that I was lied to and feel tricked .
