I have a roblox account with a value of over $100,000 USD in virtual items. It was banned/terminated for "account theft". I never stole or participated in stealing items or accounts and I can prove that. Roblox Corp. allowed a user into my account, xJaffie and they stole over $100,000 USD worth of items. Roblox worked with me to restore the items to my account, but in fear of this occurring again, I moved the items (which are all mine, roblox has stated that they were all mine and returned them to me) The ticket number that shows roblox giving unauthorized access to my account, xJaffie leading to my items being stolen is (********). The ticket which is my appeal for my account ******, where the items were transferred after being returned to me (because they would have been stolen again due to roblox's incompetence, they would have given unauthorized access to my account xJaffie again). is 28490419.My ban appeal was denied even though I never broke any terms of service at all and I can prove this. Roblox has policies on the way that they ban and unban users, they typically do not review cases after a certain time period, and they will no re-review a case after it is closed but I know that it is possible for them to reopen cases in situations like mine with high valued items involved, I've seen it done. I would like my case to be re-reviewed, the evidence will show that I never broke any rules. I either would like my account unterminated or compensation in USD for Roblox allowing someone into my account illegally followed by terminating my account when all I did was protect myself! I'm hoping that the BBB will be able to put me into contact with someone at Roblox that will actually read this message and be kind enough to help my out. Dear Roblox,I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the unjust ban of my account and the lack of assistance I have received from your support team.On 2/6/24, my account was banned without any prior notice or explanation. I was shocked and confused, as I had not violated any of the Roblox Terms of Service.Upon investigating the matter, I discovered that the ban was due to alleged unauthorized charges on my account. However, I vehemently deny these charges. I have never made any purchases or authorized any third party to access my account.I immediately contacted Roblox support to resolve this issue. However, I have been met with nothing but frustration and indifference. My requests for assistance have been ignored or met with automated responses that provide no meaningful help.I have provided ample evidence to support my claim, including bank statements and purchase history, but my account remains banned. My account LynBunnys is hacked. They changed my email and my password so I can't reset the account. I have some information to prove that I am the owner of this account. There are 2 screen shots of the email from roblox asking if the one who logged in is me or not. Roblox has Violated Civil Rights. Roblox has failed to provide information in correspondence to the reasoning of a Bans across their platform. A previous complaint against Roblox was filed and they claimed that "Roblox is not able to process any [Appeal] Requests via a third party such as a BBB complaint. If there are any additional questions regarding Roblox policies, the Roblox Support team may be reached by either replying directly to Roblox Support Ticket [********] or by filling out a contact form at roblox.com/support" As stated Roblox mentioned that if I have additional questions regarding their Policy I can reach out to their support team. On Numerous counts/attempts to get Clarifications Roblox has failed to honor what they mentioned. To Whom It May ********* am contacting your office to file an official complaint against the online gaming platform Roblox Corporation for facilitating scams and refusing to remedy customer losses. YESTERDAY, I purchased a clearly misleading "gamepass" costing ***** from "Nuclear Blast Testing Facility ????" created by [Ryanblaze] through Roblox. When directly questioned, the developer openly admitted via chat the pass was entirely false and only meant to deceive users ("I'm not gonna lie man, this gamepass was just meant to scam people. It doesn't actually do anything in the game, I just wanted people's robux. Sorry about that.").Despite providing Roblox staff documentation of the scam and developer confession, they refuse to issue a refund - unjustly protecting scammers over legitimate customers. This allows ongoing deception and risks further players being financially exploited, many of whom are children.Roblox's failure to properly oversee scams and refusal to make victims whole displays negligence and unfair/deceptive practices that harm consumers. As the complaint agency/department overseeing BBB, I urge an investigation be launched into Roblox's practices. Their behavior facilitates financial abuse on a platform primarily aimed at and used by minors. Please see the attached documentation of this case as evidence substantiating my concerns about Roblox. I request your office compel them to issue refunds for confirmed scams and audit their policies. As a victim of fraud, I have lost trust in Roblox's ability to maintain a safe, lawful environment. Good afternoon BBB. I emailed and filed 3 support tickets to Roblox Support regarding this issue. My problem has not yet been addressed despite evidence of proof of account ownership ********************** has not assisted me with the recovery of the account. My brother's account is asking him fora password reset because he enabled parental controls by accident. However, he did not set up a verified email for this account when he createdit, and thus to prove ownership of the account I have included the following information Previoususername, password, and information (order ID, billing, etc) of recent purchases. I have lost a account due to a hacker. I had contacted their support, as I thought that would help me retrieve the account that had hundreds of dollars on it. However, the best response they gave was a bot.
