I purchased clothing from a company, which allowed me to use my Venmo account to pay and the company as well as Venmo did not credit my account back or refund me the money and I sent the items back with proof with the *** label as well as information within my account that shows the money was refundedBusiness Response

Four unauthorized transactions with merchant firekeeprers after my Venmo debit card was lost / stolen. Venmo approved and reimbursed the first two that were fraudulently done the remaining two unauthorized charges they denied and wont reimburse me. They are for $225.00/$227.50 and the amount $843.20. These two charges happened after the first two in regards to time - that being said how can Venmo reimburse me for the first two but refuse me for the last two. Ive contacted firekeeprers they confirmed everything and told me if Venmo sends a chargeback request they wont accept so my bank can refund me. Venmo still wont refund me - I appealed and they denied telling me that I did it and I am lieing basically. I am not ! They say I transferred money into the account then used the money , they said I dont have any evidence , I believe they are being biased and it is not fair. I am requesting reimbursement as explained in synchrony visa customer is not liable for fraudulent activity $843.20 and $225.00. I request this in a check because after this I dont know if I can belong to a bank that isnt protecting me and my finances.Business Response

Purchased items on VENMO and did not receive anything as it was a scam on ********.Names of VENMO accounts were legitimate. The transactions occurred over the weekend. By Monday I contacted my bank immediately. I put into process a dispute with VENMO and my bank. I also filed a Police Report. On 8/20/24 I noticed a Venmo transfer on my bank statement from the previous day for $1930. I did not make nor authorize this transfer. My Venmo account was compromised and this money was taken from my account without my knowledge. Someone logged into my account from another location on another device and initiated the transfer. In a pull down box , I just pressed pay button prominently is displayed under where money was to be sent.The transaction stated I paid **********, Deposit to checking.Wednesday June 26th, 2024, I looked for the money it was not there.Thursday 6/27/24, I called Venmo asking about the money and was told it takes 3 business days for money to arrive. I stated it already been 4 business days! Friday, 6/28/24, I called Venmo again. I was told I need to check it their problem.After I talked to Venmo TOLD THEM ACCOUNT WAS DELETED. 8/5 THE ****** NAME CHANGED TO FAIRY QUEEN. I just open this app recently, I tested it using **** + with funds from PayPal, few hrs later I attempted to transfer it back and I was rejected. No reason why except a email saying I was suspended, with a link. The link was asking me to send sensitive ID to prove who I was. I was forced to send it to get unlocked. No reason given for this lock. And now I am being told 180 days to get unlocked? What? I like my money back and to close my account now!Business Response

I received $100 dollars from my sister, the account shown the money had hit so I tried several times to pay my bill but the site would not let me send the money. When I tried again it was frozen. I tried to contact them they made it impossible to reach them the few times I spoke with someone the told me a couple ways to fix it that didn't work. Most of the time they would hang up on me. Then when the 5 business days passed they refused to release my money and refused to help me refusing to let me speak with someone.because if this i was forced to live in my car, had no food or gas for my car.
