On October 21, 2022, 6:45am I submitted a bank transfer of $601.00 from my Venmo acct. It states that it takes 3 business days to get the money transferred. I've contacted Venmo 3 different times and they say that the engineers are working on the issue and that my money should be in my account in the next 1 to 3 business days. I call every day, it takes me more that 20 minutes just to speak to a representative and all they do is apologize and tell me that they understand and yet my money is not in my account. I asked to speak to a supervisor, "****" who told me that the engineers are working on the issue and to wait 1-3 business days AND if it's not there by then to call back and then hung up on me! I don't know what to do. Just thinking how they can mess with my money, keep it for as long as they want to and not being able to do something is beyond me!!Business Response

A transfer of Money was issued to me by a friend in the amount of 210 dollars on 10/21/22. an estimated deposit date was given to me 10/24/22. 3-4 business days standard delivery for my transfer to be deposited into my bank. It is now 7 days later and nothing has been deposited in my bank. I attempted to contact Venmo and was told there was a "glitch" in their system and that it was being taken care of, and I would get an email updating my status. Never got an email informing me my status. Just received a survey email, nothing related to my dispute. Their customer service dept. is Outsourced and I could barley understand or hear the receptionist. Issue is yet to be resolved and I do not have my money, and no follow-up or resolve except for a "GLITCH" excuse.Business Response

I received a payment on 10/21. Immediately I requested a bank transfer. Venmo said would be complete 10/24. Today is 10/28 still no transfer and payment in review. I called and emailed Venmo yesterday and was told there is an unknown problem and the engineers are working on it they do not have a solution, but then said I should have funds during the night or today. Still no funds today. I asked if it wasn't there what would I do next they say contact again. I said what would be the solution and he said we would just have to see if an update from engineers. No solution was offered other then you just have to wait. Was also told this is happening to many people. I believe Venmo has been hacked and they are not telling anyone and people are still using them in the mean time. I want my money or a reversal back to the sender so we can send another way.Business Response

see uploaded document and listen to agent calls on 10/22 and 10/23. i was promised this payment on 10/22 would be reversed under buyer protection, since i tried my best to add that protection prior to payment. police will not help with something like this its civil not criminal.Business Response

I initiated a transfer on Venmo of $500 on Oct. 21 at 7:06am. They guarantee 3 business days at most for transfers. It's 9:44 on Oct. 26 and I still don't have my money. They are telling me they have a general system IT issue with no idea what is wrong or when it will be fixed. "You will have a resolution when it is resolved". Made a bank transfer from venmo to my bank on the 20th. Said it would be funded the 21st. Its been almost a week and still havent recieved my funds and thats my rent and bills. They are holding my money and not telling why and keep lying. 10/21/22 I sent a bank transfer to my bank (standard) from my job that was $500. The same thing I have done for the last 12 months. By Tuesday, it still wasn't in my bank so I called to figure out what was going on. I was told multiple things by multiple people. First, it was held for review with NO information as to why. Second, it was a glitch and I would receive an email. Third, by a"manager" that it would be in my account by today (it is not). One rep even ended the conversation on me in the "chat" option when I was trying to get answers. Per the terms in conditions on their website it states any review is only held for 48 hours, when u brought this up to the rep they stated it was not correct anymore. I still don't know if it is a glitch or a review and my money is not in my account. I have bills to pay and nobody can answer my question. I asked for the emails of the engineer team or the review team and was told it can not be given to me. I was talked down to when I asked where my money was and it was completely unprofessional. I even asked if it was a glitch in the system why I have people from the day of 10/21 trying to send bank transfers not received ANY type of communication to which the answer was "I don't know they just figured out this was going on as of 3Pm Tuesday." Completely unprofessional and I want my paycheck out of Venmo's hands.Business Response

Venmo is deflecting fault of illegal activity by a user of their service and refusing to hold the user accountable. There were several complaints made to venmo that a user is running an elaborate scam and they do not seem to care or showing signs that they are doing anything about it.Business Response

About 7 moths ago I've made several deposits to Venmo account, about 13k$ in total. Then I've received a 180 days ban for no reason.
After 180 days I've received an email that I can withdraw my funds. However, all the withdrawal transactions failed.
I've tried to contact support multiple times but every time they say they will contract me in 1 - 10 days and never contact again.
