  I really wish I checked this site before applying for a loan through this company. After almost a full week of no communication except for with their call center in *****, I finally had to cancel my loan application. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism and a lack of communication from any type of business. Could not warn someone enough to stay away from Prosper and look and elsewhere

  Billing statement ends on the 10th and I make payments every two weeks and said my account was past due 30 days and tacked on a fee of 40. Complete scam and thieves. I pay my bills religiously and this is complete garbage. Needs to be shut down.

  I have used Prosper a few times and at the beginning they were amazing. I've had 5 different loans with them over several years and have paid them back early every time. I have been at the same job for 12 years with the same pay rate the last 2 years. I applied for a new loan - they made me jump through a million hoops and then they said they couldn't verify my paystub so they couldn't prove my income (even though I showed my check deposits). Um what? They have my bank statements and I could have shown them years of bank statements to prove my income. But no - no discretion, no alternate way to prove income. Just sorry unless you have another income source that we can verify you are SOL. I will never EVER work with this company again and they lost a good and loyal customer and I will make sure all of my clients and friends never use them again too.

  This loan company has been giving me h*** Never again will I ever get a loan from them again and I will make sure my family and friends do not do business with Prosper. I do not recommend them to anyone. So first and foremost, Prosper does not tell you when youll be charged for a late payment. They will allow your late payments to accumulate and then when your loan agreement is up you will be left with a huge debt amount that you were unaware of because again, they do not let you know that they are putting charges such as late fees, interests, etc. on your account until when your loan agreement expires you are surprised at a huge balance you are unaware of. When I called and ask them about it, all they can say is the remaining balance is for late fees, interests, etc. The consumer should be aware of charges being put on their account. If the consumer missed a payment and is charged a late fee then that should be available for them to see just as the monthly payment is available to see. Idk what games Prosper is playing but Im glade I paid in full so I can be done with them. Scammers!!!

  Worst company to ever do business with. So glad I'm almost done paying off this loan. I didn't even agree to the loan but they forged my signature via docusign but I didn't sweat it. 2nd scan was that they randomly took $750 out before even giving me my money. Loan was supposed to be 6% by all of a sudden it's 38%. Almost $6000 for a $14000 loan. What a joke. I'll never be doing business with them again and I'll be sure to get a lawyer because they are so shady. BEWARE of these loan sharks they'll really s**** you over.

  Worse company to try to do business! This company not only had me waiting for over two weeks! Than having to call multiple times to get VERIFIED, no notification what so ever just got tired of waiting for information! Finally after two weeks of waiting and submitting everything they asked to get told they could not verify me!! Like WHAT! I submitted so many bank/ work verification and I COULD NOT be verified!! These people are crooks!!!

  *************. I work in operations in this company. We are asked to **** the customers. Company suddenly reduces customer credit limit for card by $1500 and when customer calls we are told not to disclose the real reason. Later I came to know from my colleague that, risk team uses an illegal score called debt agency score or something, which I heard is illegal to use per government. But to customers we are asked not share the real reason of credit limit cut. This company is fraud. I myself a victim of this credit card scam from some other company before, so as soon as I learned this I was shocked and it thought I should report here. This a financial scam by this company. I don't want anyone to get cheated by this company. So, beware of credit card from this company.

  I had gotten this card because my credit at the time was not great. Biggest mistake of my life. This card company should be shut down! It preys on people who are desperate. And, their interest rates should be illegal. I got a loan to pay off my card. I paid almost $3500.00 dollars, the amount showing to pay off. I received an email later showing when my next payment was due. I PAID off this card. The same day I paid off, I received an $83.03 interest charge. I called to see if they would waive this amount to no avail. Please anyone seeing this, DO NOT apply for this card! This company should be considered a scam!

  This company is the worst I keep getting fraud charges on the card they lack security closed the account asked them to waive the annual fee. Did not send me any statements only advertisement that I could get a ****** loan now q year and half later they reported delinquency on my credit report charging me late fees and accruing interest for an account that was closed that I thought my annual was waived. They harassed me that I had no choice to pay them today because they are doing damage to my credit. Worst company ever do not use this card or company

  Do not use this company. I tried to transfer the balance from them to my citi credit card. They said that they dont accept balance transfer payments. **** said that prosper received the payment and did not reject it. Now prosper is trying to act like they didn't receive it. They are scamming and trying to keep the money! Citi is trying to do an investigation but they dont want to talk to them!
