  I opened a business account for my Shopify store. I set everything up, made some boards and pins and started two advertising campaigns. The next day they deactivated my account for suspicious activity. They said to contact the help desk which I did to reactivate it. I received a message the following day that it was reactivated, and they apologized for the inconvenience. When I tried to log in it was still deactivated. I sent them a message to leave it deactivated and to stop the ads. A few days later I received a number of emails about ad statements and billing. I tried contacting them again numerous times that they needed to cease the ads due to my account deactivation and my inability to access my account to change or stop the ads. I told them what they were doing was fraudulent and to stop. They continued to charge me for the ads that I'm not sure they even ran. They are a horrible business partner in my experience with them. The problem is they are too big, too automated with bots causing errors, one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. My account is still deactivated but I'm getting messages about pins. I woke up to another charge this morning for ads. They need a serious overhaul of their system. I used to enjoy Pinterest as a personal account, but the entire experience has soured me. I do not recommend anyone using Pinterest for business. I wish you would allow for 0 stars but because I have to choose at least one that is what I'll give them.

  If I could give a zero, I would! I have always been a fan of Pinterest, especially for recipes and ideas. I took a chance and tried purchasing something from a company called Lileana Store. First, I didn't receive the item I purchased, instead I got a mini back pack that looks like it's for a doll. After email exchanges I was finally offered a small refund, not a full refund to resolve the issue quickly. If not done quickly, I would have needed to send the package back and pay for the shipping. Who does that??? ***! It's been over 3 months now and still no refund. Pinterest no longer has my interest nor will it EVER get my money again. I wouldn't support this site when they treat us, the customers, in this way and it's ok with them. Good ideas were my favorite but time to let go!

  I have used for many years Pinterest for my ecology pages for my organic ornamental seedling business that is now temporarily closed, have thousands of pins, but never received any monetary funds from Pinterest. They have on a staffing page on my Pinterest site three unknown people, one cannot click on them, they probably work for Pinterest in site traffic, but I wrote to Pinterest that I did not know who they were, and did not see similar on other Pinterest sites, though I did not look at many. I have no staff, just ne. Pinterest dd not respond, they just emailed me back my question. I do all of the work myself with pinning. **********, in general, seems very scammy. I have never been there, but definitely would not include it in my travel plans. Today, when I tried to log-in, it read that Pinterest needs my birthdate to login, but when I logged in with an alternate account, it did not ask for my birthdate.

  Awful. I've had two accounts with them. The first one was a "business" account which I spent hardly any time on and intended to get back to when my business was more busy. It suddenly became suspended due to violating a rule which is weird since I had never used that account. The second one I was using to post links to a business which I own on etsy. That one got suspended the day after I started it. After combing the rules and sending a message to their "help" desk which I'm pretty sure is just a robot, they said it would remain suspended. I asked if they could at least tell me why it was deleting my business since I hadn't violated anything, and if there was any way I could just talk to a person. They sent me an automated message saying no and that my ticket was closed. I am keeping records of everything because I want to be able to join whatever lawsuits arise and get a payout in the future. But as as a business owner I beg anyone who is considering Pinterest to not rely on them or even spend their valuable time trying to use this service. It's a dead end and a waste of time. They have desecrated small businesses all around the world and have no respect for human beings at all. They don't care about you and they WILL wipe away your income if you give them the opportunity to. Please don't risk it! If you look at the Pinterest reddit page you can get some more examples of the bugs, theft, infringement, bias, and discrimination taking place on this awful unchecked platform. Best thing to do is just get an account, don't use it, and just wait for lawsuits to jump onto.

  I have tried to post an ad, and apparently I did succeed. It has cost me $6.000, and the AD did not run whatsoever on the Pinterest site.I have asked for a refund, but they refused to reimburse me, even as I called several times and complained about being fraudulently charged.instead of answering the phone, there is a robot that misleads away from the issues, so I asked for a chargeback.

  Pinterest Ads is horrible and very poorly managed. I have lost hundreds of dollars trying to use their very complex ad system. The thing just keeps billing you and is hard to tell what is running and where. If you think AdWords is tough, Pinterest is ten times that headache.

  Charges posted on my bank account.I noticed same last month, via an account I deleted. I in no way made any sort of purchase. Have asked them to refund me, but it has fallen on deaf ears. Obviously no phone number

  They deactivated my account with no explanation as to why exactly. They refuse to answer me as well. Not professional & very shady. It started out great, then the last couple of years went to c*** Abundance of sexual material, no quality suggestions, that sort of thing.

  As a small business I found Pinterest to be a company engaged in fraudulent and deceptive practices. They prey on unsuspecting, trusting people and try to bilk them out of enormous amounts of money. The employees are dishonest, lie to you and waste your time. They have no understanding of how a small business operates. This company is not one you want to be doing business with or associated with.

  DO NOT RUN ADS ON PINTEREST! I agreed to $30 a day for 2 weeks for ads and my business card has been charged over $2,700 from Sept 2022 to Dec 2nd 2022. After 2 weeks the ads were still running. ONE sale from the ads. The help center is AWFUL! No help there. My account rep said she can not stop the ads. I'll need to contact the help center to do so. DO NOT DO IT! I gave 1 star only b/c I had to.
