    No option to ****** subscription in the app. Not even on the main site, I checked. Theres not even a member ship option on the site. To actually cancel it you need to go to some url which you can and NEED to look up on ****** or talk to the support bot like I did. The shows are fine and the video and all that it offers are good quality, but this predatory behavior for subscription money cant be overlooked.

    I canceled this subscription through ****** prime in October of last year. I have a confirmation of cancellation. *********** has charged my card directly every month since November. I attempted to communicate with them on several occasions where they said they have canceled my subscription that they hold. Every month, my card continues to be charged to the point where I had to cancel my debit card. Ever since that cancellation, they have attempted to charge that card eight times this month. They are a scam and a fraud. I have been told this subscription has been canceled three times and have confirmation confirmations in email and they continue to try to charge my card fraudulently. They are a scam.

    I don't even want to give 1 star rating. I had a charge for this company show up on my **** for two months in a row. When I contacted them to cancel and stop these charges going through as I did not subscribe or create an account with them, they told me they could not refund me until the charge showed non-pending on my account. This was all done on chat support. When I showed them the previous charge that was not pending and went through the previous month, I was told over and over they could not refund me until the charge showed not pending. When I specifically requested the subscription and/or account canceled, nevermind the refund, I was again given the run-around about the "pending" charge for the current month. Once I started demanding they cancel this subscription/ account I did not purchase or join, they asked for information including my name, last 4 digits of my card number and billing zip code and they would cancel it. After I supplied this information, I was told that they needed to escalate it to email. I asked for a phone number and even offered to provide my phone number for them to contact me as I didn't want to continue the run around and evasion of canceling the subscription/ account as I was experiencing through the chat support. I was told they did not have a phone support to contact me nor anyone I could directly contact. Needless to say, this subscription/ account did not get canceled as was my initial call request, and I am having to contact my bank and cancel my **** card and have a new one re-issued.

    Apparently they bought ********** about a year ago. In this time, my digital copy of ******* vampire was not moved over, customer service has been less than stellar, and when you tell them exactly what is going on, they just want you to buy their subscription service. So now I've lost access to my legally owned digital copy, I can't use the original service as it's shut down, and because I didn't keep the one time use code that I used prior and haven't kept a 3 year old receipt. I'm apparently out of luck.This is on par with American consumerism, but it's still awful. I don't feel bad when places like this are taken to task because no one holds them accountable. If it weren't for my physical copy, I'd have wasted 30 bucks... We can only hope they're shut down and something better comes along. Or consumer forbid that federal or state representatives hold them accountable.

    For about a week and a half I have not been able to subscribe and pay for an account as it said mine was running out And it will not allow me in the slightest to replace it. I’ve reached out several times they give me the same BS excuse like they haven’t read exactly what I sent them. I’m having a problem with and say that they are giving me free trials and all this stuff which they have no my account hasn’t been changed to reflect the line words they’re giving me and at this point I am completely fed up with their system and have tried to delete my calendar and they have been refusing. My request to do so without any explanation and I do not want my card on this account. They are acting like scammers now after this merge. And I can’t get out of it

    So, crunchroll got bought out by **** - since that point in time there has been no access to any real customer service, subtitles are incorrect, missing, or in some random language. Their app on amazon is usually missing videos, subtitles, and even language options. Their web app is missing advertised videos, has incorect, missing, or improperly labeled languages/subtitles.Since there is no customer service forms or contact information via crunchyroll itself, customers are unable to file any complaints or requests in regards to falsely advertised anime videos which are some how unavailable even though you are paying for a service to watch them, and some of the ones you can watch don't have subtitles or language suggestions appropriate to your region or language selections. Since crunchroll bought our funimation this means that the whole online anime streaming scene has gone right into a flaming dumpster.

    As someone who likes buys a few figures a year, the Crunchyroll store used to be great, a one stop shop for many different figures. In the past few years its like their system broke. Nothing is shipped on time, or sometimes, even at all. I even emailed them telling them a figure I had preordered was in stock and they said it would ship soon, but alas, it never did and when I followed up it had left stock and they told me they would have to refund me. I now keep a document on my computer where I now track any order I have to make with them, and am not even confident I will receive those. If you can order at another spot and it isn't too much more expensive, I would recommend that over Crunchyroll store.

    Despite having a Closed Captions Accessibility option to toggle on/off in their settings for English dubbed series, we'll over 80-90% of series are not Captioned. Currently, the only way to get many of their shows with Cc is behind a separate paywall through digital purchases on gaming consoles media like Xbox or Playstation, yet those same series do not provide Cc on their app. Due to this, financially discriminating against the Deaf/Hard of Hearing and other auditory/mental conditions where Cc would benefit. ******* had tried this with dvd/vhs rentals/buys between 2010-2012 before they got sued and lost under Title 3 of ADA *** of public accommodations, which Streaming falls under(National ************************ ********* *******, Case No. 3:11-Cv-30168) Many people actually do enjoy the Captions, even without hearing loss. According to the ************************** approximately 20% of the world or more has some form of hearing loss. 1/5 of several billion people is no small percentage.     They don't respect the discount that is offered to subscribers. I ordered products from the store and the discount was not applied. When I contacted support, they basically said "tough luck" and did not give the discount that they advertise. They have essentially removed any digital downloads I had previously without any sort of compensation, and they want to raise the price for a subscription without actually offering any of the stuff I want to watch.

    Low effort company. **************** is both unhelpful and uncaring. Company practices monopolizing of content while not licensing or sub-licensing large quantities. Discourse online about the company is silenced. Posts about it moderated. All while being owned by a large corporation who bought out content only to make it behind additional pay walls or unavailable altogether. Art and creation are stifled and enjoyment of old art/creations is gatekept for exclusionary purposes that monopolize art and stow it away from any and all enthusiasts. If I had money to purchase content directly Id send in a check to the original creator of every piece of work I own to purchase a physical copy accompanied by a letter urging any and all ties to this industry-ending behemoth to be cut and never repaired. Buy your anime in physical format to support the creation as this company in fact hinders ALL future creation of the content they intend to support.
