This issue is a posting issue. I have been attempting to post my accidental litter of puppies on craigslist. I have read the terms of service and my ad did not violate these terms. However, my posts have been taken down minutes after being posted. I even took an and that had been up on the site for more than a week and actually copied and pasted the ad... word for word. My ad was taken down in less than 5 minutes. Craigslist is a platform, not a publisher. They must follow their terms of service as such. This amounts to censorship of a specific person or post. This would make Craigslist a publisher and not a platform. While I am not wanting to wage war on semantics or law, I just want to be able to post my items just like all the other posts that I see on Craigslist. And I can not. The other issue is there is no way at all to contact anyone at Craigslist to even get an answer as to why my posts keep getting taken down. Your email to the company gets you a giant list of help links online. These take you to post on a forum that is done by individuals and not the company. I have emailed the company 3 times now and asked for help. The only response is a bot. I have given them 5 business days to respond and no response at all.I just want to be able to post my items and find out why my posts have been targeted for removal. If my post does not violate the terms of service, then according to their own rules, I should be able to post my things and have the listing stay online. This is NOT the case. Please contact me so we can resolve this. Having no way at all to get an answer as to why you are being blocked is not acceptable.Initial Complaint

I have been a long-time user of **********************, posting legitimate job ads for my company, which contracts over 400 technicians nationwide to perform in-home assembly and repair services. Recently, Craigslist has unfairly flagged and removed all of my job postings, despite my company operating legally and in good standing for ***************** ************* Ad Time:I have paid hundreds of dollars for job ads that were supposed to remain active for several days before expiring, yet they were removed without warning or explanation. This has resulted in a significant financial loss, as well as lost opportunities for potential technicians who rely on these job postings.Attempts to Resolve:I have attempted to contact Craigslist for clarification and a resolution, but there has been no meaningful response. Craigslists lack of customer support and its automated flagging system have made it impossible to fairly conduct business on their platform.Resolution Requested:I am seeking:A refund for the removed ads that had days remaining before expiration.A clear explanation as to why my ads were flagged.A review of my account status to prevent future wrongful flagging.Craigslists unfair practices are negatively impacting my business, and I urge the BBB to investigate their handling of paid advertisements.Initial Complaint

Nine days ago on 4 March I created a room/shares posting on craigslist. It was flagged for removal and I have contacted craigslist twice so far seeking clarity. There's no violation of any terms of use or am I soliciting anything Less than. I'm simply trying to rent out a room in my house like others are in a literal 5 mile radius of me. Now seeing they have an F BBB rating I see that my move to filing a formal complaint my probably go on deaf ears.Initial Complaint

I have been trying to post on their site to have some puppies adopted/rehomed and it keeps getting flagged. There are other posts that have been up and are clearly breeders which is prohibited and have not been flagged. I believe there is discrimination and favoritism which is extremely aggravating. This site has a tone of inappropriate content, and it just odd they keep flagging post that truly are ligit.Initial Complaint

I use Craigslist daily for many purposes. I have messaged support before as well as the legal department and they hardly ever respond and if they do they don't do anything about my concerns or issues. Their terms and conditions agreement specifies rules regarding spamming. I have repeatedly sent them Documentation to detail this spamming. It is extremely frustrating to me and wasting my time that many people are spamming so much that when I need to look for something for example storage in ************* under housing and parking and storage I see literally more than a thousand ads at any given time and most of them are duplicates and repeated ads which are a violation of their terms and conditions and it's not fair to all the other people like myself who abide by the rules. Their terms in conditions outlines fines for violators many if not all of these violators are businesses and they should be paying for their ads. Additionally there is another category I frequently use and it is DJ's for entertainment purposes. And there is an individual who runs numerous ads under different names usually hundreds a day using many locations and also listing them under incorrect categories of items for sale. The DJ's name is DJ **** **.. Craigslist business practices are discriminatory and unfair and they need to enforce these violations as others must abide by the rules. I have tried to contact them repeatedly And they do nothing. I have suggested that they charge these people for ads to prevent them from spamming and they have not responded. Additionally this would make Craigslist a lot of money as there are literally more than a thousand ads a day that are spamming like this and I know that the companies that are doing this are worth millions of dollars one company in particular us storage has probably 400 to 500 locations and they use many different numbers and accounts to post and create massive spam. Please help me thank you.***Customer Answer

This correspondence is regarding previous complaints that I have filed regarding your discriminatory business practices. I like using Craigslist and it is a good site and has helped me but I'm really tired of all the spamming and the people that violate the terms and conditions and almost every time I want to do a search I see people circumventing the system for example people wanting to advertise services and they put them under items for sale or under General by owner and run them in multiple categories. Many of these spam ads are both individuals and businesses. I will provide a specific example. I was looking for a welder under Orange County California under all for sale and I literally see just a few people running hundreds of ads on a daily basis one of them his name is ******* and the other one is ***** welding. It's not fair to the people who abide by the rules and it's one thing to spam and it's another thing to circumvent paying for ads that are services and posting them under items for sale additionally they put them in multiple categories like heavy equipment like trailers like general for sale materials by owner and if you do a search under Craigslist ************************ for welders you will find all kinds of ads that are spam and that should not even be in that category for the reasons that I mentioned above. This selective enforcement is discriminatory and I have paid for ads previously like for selling cars and other items that are required to be paid for to list the ads. I tried to be honest I could do the same thing that these other people are doing but I don't. And I think if you're not going to enforce your terms and conditions you should amend and change them because it is discriminatory to all the people that abide by the rules and the people that are abusers should not be able to circumvent the system and benefit by not paying the fees that they should be and listing in various categories. Please fix this once and for all and be fair.Initial Complaint

Craigslist block me from loging into my account under the suspicion that I'm a robot. I then asked them to delete my account and they refused. All my data are on that account and they can access it or even sell it without me knowing. If i cant use their platform then i should at least be able to delete my account and my data. They dont reply back to my request.Initial Complaint

I have posted to the activity partner section about making a friend who also likes video games (specifically Street Fighter II). But, despite no TOS showing a problem w/such a listing, it keeps getting removed. I tried the "Group" category, too, to make it into a group, but same issue. I've gone to the forum to ask what terms were violated, and no one there could come up w/anything. *Originally*, I was able to post this w/o it being removed (or at least rarely removed), over a decade ago. I made multiple friends that way that remain to this day (though they moved out of the area...), but lately it has gotten ridiculous w/the removals w/o cause. My ads keep getting flagged and I have tried to make contact with craigslist numerous times but no one has responded. This may be a racial discrimination because of my last name since no one can get back to me from this large company
