Im writing to bring attention to a growing concern regarding misuse of the Craigslist flagging system, which is currently being exploited by individuals or groups to unfairly target and remove legitimate ******** appears that the current system allows users to flag a post without providing any justification, identity, or verification. This opens the door for bad actors to repeatedly flag posts using multiple accounts or IP addresses, effectively silencing honest users and harming small businesses and individuals who rely on Craigslist as a key *********** Concern:Legitimate posts are being removed unfairly.Users are being harassed through mass *********** accountability or transparency exists for those flagging.Suggested Improvements:Require a reason when flagging a post.Require login or contact verification to submit a flag.Implement limits on how many posts a user can flag per day.Introduce a review or appeal process for flagged posts.I strongly believe these steps would reduce abuse, protect honest users, and improve the integrity of the Craigslist platform. Many users depend on your site to advertise services, find housing, and make a living. Craigslist has been taking my money for posting ads, but has blocked my ISP from getting or receiving any emails. I attempted to post a rental ad on ******************************** for my elderly disabled mother and sister who is a senior. Neither use computers and are the owners of the rental property. Every ad was repeatedly flagged and removed with no explanation. I reported the flagging abuse twice to craigslist and explained the situation. I finally was able to post the ad and it remained up until I renewed it then once again it was flagged and removed. Craigslist was made aware that my mother is elderly and disabled but continued to flag and remove the ad without explanation. The last attempt at posting the ad was successful but could not post photos from my phone so I used my computer and was able to add photos to the ad. It posted sucessfully then was once again flagged and removed. In my opinion flagging and removing the ad is discrimination against the elderly and disabled because it is preventing an elderly disabled person from successfully operating a rental business. Craigslist is a "free" service and I saw no option or link for payment in order to post an ad. Craigslist allows anyone to flag an ad for any reason without verifying if the poster has done anything wrong or violated their terms of service. Craigslist did not notify me in my account or e mail me regarding their reasons for removing my ad. Allowing anyone to flag any ads without verification of terms of service violations sets up bad business practices where discrimination is allowed to flourish. I want an explanation from Craigslist of what was wrong with my ad and why they kept removing them. I want Craigslist to allow my rental ad and photos to be posted and remain up for the 44 days that they allow each rental ad to remain active. If there is something I have done wrong in the ad I want Craigslist to notify me and give me a chance to correct it.Initial Complaint

Craigslist will ban a person from accessing their account then refuse to allow the person from deleting their account. Their account and personal data is permantly held hostage to the company. If a person is declined service they should be allow to delete their account. Why should they continue to be able to keep my account active and collect my data? How is this legal? How are they allow to not allow me to log into my account? It's my account but im not allow to log in? And im forced to keep the account active even without being able to log in or use it?Initial Complaint

This place is one of the main places troubling me. I caught them. I caught them harassing me and tormenting my life. They are trying to force me to answer ignorant questions in a frequency of servalance. They are acomidating people who bad mouth me or people who try to paint a picture of me with insinuations of ***** accusations. I will not answer them. This is part of how im taking action on them.
