1 starve used Affirm in the past with no issuesuntil now. Unfortunately, I ordered a product that was never delivered and reached out to Affirm to investigate. I followed the proper steps and opened a dispute, but was disappointed to see Affirm side with what is clearly a fraudulent company.The purchase was only $194, but its the principle that matters. I provided clear evidence that the company was a scam, including the *** and email, yet Affirm still chose to support the merchant. Even worse, they threatened to report this to the credit bureausdespite my clean history and effort to do the right thing.This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. While *** previously trusted Affirm, I will no longer be using their service once my current obligations are fulfilled.

1 starUsed affirm to purchase a ******* phone. During the sign up phase it took my discover card information to use for monthly payments. Sent me a confirmation email with what my payments would be and stated that with my excellent credit that I would be not charged interest. But when my first bill came due they would not accept my card. They wanted all my info to my bank account so they could draw from it directly. That was the only way to pay going forward. NO way was I going to do that! And they were now going to charge me interest. That's called bait and switch, which is illegal. I finally got there adress to send a check after going through 2 chat bots. Going to send it all and be done with them crooks.Affirm.com

1 starUse a credit card, not this company! I was double billed on a purchase and emails show the purchase was made at the exact same minute. Affirm disputes says it's my problem and I need to pay for it even though it's obvious there was a glitch in the vender ordering system and wants me to pay shipping. So now I have two purchases, one I don't need and two bills I certainly didn't need. My credit card company would have called or texted to verify if I was trying to make a double purchase, but not affirm. With them you'll have to pay it you don't want your credit to go bad.Affirm.com

1 starI have had several small loans and purchases covered by affirm, as I am a single mom and things are tight. I know their interest rates are high but for some things i bite the bullet. However, today I had to switch my payment method from an old bank account to my new bank accounts. The app has you sign into the bank account to do this. I did. My bank called and verified that it was me. All done.Fifteen minutes later, I get another call from my bank, the fraud department, asking if I was trying to sign in with another device. I told them I was not. They proceed to tell me that not only had some one with an Iphone just log into my account but they made a face ID so they could come back later. This was flagged because they know I use an android for my bank app. A few seconds later they logged in again on a mac book, they tried to connect to mac book to a amazon account. The fist thing I did was change my log ins, the second was call Affirm. I talked to a supervisor ******* *. who said there was nothing they could do and it wasn't possible that it was them, and when I asked her to please remove my bank account from their system, left the chat. I followed up with yet another supervisor who told me that I would have to call them to have it removed, and inferred that I was hacked through the wifi (I was not using wifi). When I told him this he also said there was nothing they could do. i have made a report both local and to IC3. I have the ** address and the location that was in *****. How a company could be this ignorant about this big an issue I have no idea. They made no attempt to make it right. I on the other hand have to change bank accounts, cards, and passwords on everything. Thanks for taking it so seriously Affirm.Affirm.com

1 starIf I could I would give this company a 0. They have fraudulent businesses on their App. which doesn't work when returns for refunds or submitted.. the refunds sit in the professing status for weeks and they still want you to pay when plan says due in a day. They demand that you pay for items that were not delivered or awaiting refund returns because they were ordered through a fraudulent company. I spoke with the legit company, placed an order and have received my order, then returned for refund. I place an order with Affirm/Shop pay on 07/02 return on 07/16 and still no refund posted. I attempt to contact and speak with someone and got the run around. I did all of my online ordering through them. I recommend you not establish an account as this is a scam. I will be canceling this card...Affirm.com

1 starWe filed a dispute on a purchase with evidence and they sided against our claim. We purchased a bed from ******** Firm using Affirm. ******** Firm called us to inform they were closing all their business. They said there would not be enough time to have our new mattress made and delivered before they were closed. They asked if we would be willing to accept the floor model with a sizable discount. We agreed and our account with ********************** did not reflect the new pricing. We put in the dispute and uploaded a new invoice/receipt reflecting the lower price along with phone numbers to contact the business. We also shared the email communication from the CFO of Mattress Firm with Affirm that stated the new pricing. With what we provided we were told it was not enough and the sided against our claim. They said it was our responsibility to prove the business had closed even though we provided contact information and if they would have called they would have heard the recorded message that they were in fact closed and out of business, Now we are stuck paying over a thousand dollars over the purchase price.Affirm.com

1 starHow much are they paying BBB for an A+ rating??? This company is notoriously shady. I bought a purchase from ****** for $2,669.99. All of a sudden it's $3,500. I asked why and all they did was give me run around and never gave me a valid reason except "intrest". Sorry, but the math doesn't add up.Affirm.com

1 starI used Affirm last year because I had to fly from ******* to ************* due to an emergency. Somebody from that company stole my identity, and, to this day, I am still receiving mail from debt collectors for purchases I never made. I made one purchase with them, a one-way ticket, with ***************** from *************** ******* to ******* *****. They stole money out of my mother's account, since she let me use her debit card to get the plane ticket, and they were forced to put it back because they stole it! Last week I got another letter from a debt collector saying that I owed them $2,000 for a company I don't even know. Anyway, DO NOT TRUST AFFIRM!!! THERE IS A THIEF IN THEIR MIDST AND THEY WON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!Affirm.com
