Affirm is a scam when you have a product returned. I returned a washer to Maytag and they processed the return almost immediately in February. April, after being charged twice for this returned product, I called Affirm to see why on their end it still has not processed. They confirmed they received the notice of return in March, but I never called to request the return to be processed. Why someone would need to do this is unclear??? So now April, I still have not received my money back. So I call again, and they said they tried to issue a refund to the original payment method but the card decline (which is bizarre to me since I use this card every day and NEVER have issues). So apparently since it declined they never issued my money back because I never called to request a check to be issued. Why should a customer need to call several times to request a refund on a product that CLEARLY shows returned is beyond me. Affirm is a SCAM! Do not do business with this company. I used this company several times and each time, everything worked out until now! I ordered shoes and someone stole the package from my porch. They told me to contact **** *** was no help as they provided a black spot picture as proof of delivery. So there was no picture of my porch, nor was there ANY proof that my package was delivered. Even if there was a picture, the package was not there when I got home! Affirm said that they are siding with the shoe company and I now owe them the remaining balance even though I NEVER received the package! They are basically stealing my money and have offered NO customer service whatsoever. Even after doing business for years, the one time my package gets stolen, no one from this SCAM company would help me. NEVER USE AFFIRM!Review from Giuseppe V

I was approved by affirm but when talking to their customer service somehow I had only 24 hours to use the credit that was given to me to book my flight with CheapOair. They inserted that I cancel my loan. I told them repeated that they took out the first payment and showed them my bank statement that the money came out but they still did not believe me. Im so frustrated and angry because now I have missed out on a test deal for a trip I was planning to take and if I wanted to book again it would cost me hundreds more !! ??Review from Wayne E

Took time to attempt to close Affirm account several times. Account paid off. Do not want in my credit evaluation and dont need the account. Each time I call they change the date on which I may close it. Playing games with my time and credit. Mickey ***** unprofessional operation. HORRIBLE!I have not received my 2 ebikes ******* and I started an investigation with affirm on bike *** Gave 10+ pages of proof and affirm ruled in favor of bike *** ******** Lied to them about my bike saying it was still being painted (I ordered a custom paint) but when I spoke to bike *** 37 days later bike was in fact not ever being painted and no longer available So now I have no bikes but a loan with affirm and they just said resolution has been solved even though I have no product and now I need to pay !******* for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I'm a senior who was just ripped off and Affirm does not care just wants their money eventhough I don't have the bikes. I will be taking them and bike *** To courtReview from Felissa B

I returned something in store ! Called the merchant who has confirmed my return . Called the customer support , the first agent hung up on me . I asked to speakers to a supervisor who only gave mw her name of ***** ! Who told me it was locked and she could not apply my return . I dont have the product and I am still being charged ! I will never use these people again

I am a victim of identity theft. No help from Affirm. I have contacted CheapOair and American Airlines. I did not setup flight with them. CheapOair air check my credit card number and they did not find it in there system nor American Airlines find anything with my name or email. Affirm asking me about a booking number. How could I have that I didn't set up a flight. They are horrible. I was told it was my debt by Affirm who was supposed to investigating. I am doing it and telling them CheapOair or American Airlines doesn't find anything. That I have flight setup. AFFIRM IS SCAMMING PUT A CHARGE ON MY CARD I REGRET HAVING WITH THEM. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS RUDE. PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS ISSUE. THANK YOU IT HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE.Affirm.com Response

I fully paid for an item, through Affirm (shop pay), and it wasnt what was expected. I returned the item and the shop instantly issued Affirm the refund. Since the item was fully paid for, i was told Affirm would issue the refund back to my account in 3-10 business days. Currently Im on day 12. I call daily and get the same answer- they will look into it.Affirm.com Response

Affirm is good unless you have a problem/need help. Their customer service team asks the same questions over and over again, does everything possible to get you off the phone and generally has no interest in helping you resolve your issue.I've used Affirm for several transactions, and I never had to interface with their customer service team until this most recent transaction. In short, I am being charged for a transaction that never went through on the part of the merchant. As there was no purchase, there was no receipt or order confirmation, though I did sent a link to the company's portal with an accompanying screenshot showing that the transaction failed.Now I am stuck in a loop where my issue is escalated and then I am asked to re-provide all of the detail I've already given them.Apparently, a $630 purchase that never actually happened is worth losing a customer for a lifetime.I can ********************** that I'll never use Affirm again.Affirm.com Response
