      I was automatically charged a fee that was different than the low $1 payment. I do not wish to use this service and was not aware I would be charged the $46. I want a refund and cancel anything further. This is a scam

      I was just contacted by my bank, asking whether I just made a $55 purchase from you guys. I said “no” and am now contacting you to find out why you dinged my account today. I tried to do it via your online chat, but it kept wanting me to join and pay so I could get more information. That seems shady. The remedy I am seeking is to for you to refund the money and stay away from my bank account. Thanks, Jon

      Yesterday, 2-1-24, while looking at the website I asked a question. I was directed to click on the link for $1 (fully refundable) I could chat with someone. I clicked, it wanted to charge me $35- there was no other option but to pay it. I moved forward as I thought Id probably see something on the next screen or get an email, or something about it - nope! I thought the company was on the up and up, not that I was purposefully being deceived, I didnt receive or see anything about the price difference. I only found a place to cancel my subscription. I didnt see anywhere that this was a subscription thing. Several I saw something come up on my phone, goes away in a blink of a eye. first of all. Then I saw where I could use the service until the next renewal. Not what I was led to believe. I sent a message explaining that I want to cancel, I also requested a refund. I received an email saying the subscription has been cancelled. Again not what was requested. Today *** had several emails with the company explaining this to them. *** being told, no refunds. Too bad - so sad. I clicked the button to be charged therefore Im charged. I explained how deceitful the message with the link was. Its seems like a scam - tell the consumer one thing, have something else happen, then blame it on the customer for following the directions given by their company. I would not have paid $35 to ask someone for their option. A refundable $1, sure. Now Im going to have to remember to keep checking my change card to ensure they dont charge me again, if they do i guess Im going to be fighting a brick wall of a company again.

      Feb. 2, **** they charged my checking account for $1.00, then $55.00. I don't know who this is and certainly didn't give them my credit card number! Have filed two disputes with my bank today and cancelled my debit card.

      Meanwhile,  JustAnswer is a paid membership only service focused on providing value, speed, convenience, and 24/7 professional services to our customers by connecting them with experts under various categories. 
       
      Upon entering a question on our website, a customer is directed to a payment screen that details a one-time fee as well as a membership fee. This enables you to use our services whenever you need until the end of the membership.
       
      After reviewing your account, you were able to post a question under our Software category regarding your computer calendar that could not be opened. Additionally, if someone's credit card information is used, the person will not have the email address as this information is not located on the card. However, both pieces of information are on your account. Usually the case is that the customer simply forgot they posted a question or they find that a family member or friend posted the question.

      As a courtesy to you, , we have gone ahead and closed the account and the deposits have been refunded. The funds are made available to your bank the next business day. However, the bank may take 3-5 business days to release the funds back to your account depending on their policy.

      I am rejecting this response because: They have agreed to refund $55 of the $56 they took out of my account, however the debit card number they say they will refund it to has been cancelled, due their fraudulent charges. How do I get my money back  now? I have not received my new debit card, and will be extremely hesitant to give it to them when I do receive it.

      I am rejecting this response because: They charged my account twice. Once for $55 and once for $1. They have refunded the $55 and it is in my bank account but they have not refunded the $1. I have contacted them twice about this $1, but neither of their responses sounded like they even read my email. They just keep saying they refunded the $55, which they did, but they are completely ignoring my emails about the other $1.

      February 2023, I had posted a software related question on ****** website. JustAnswer picked up my query and asked me to pay $2.00 for an answer, which I did. I entered my credit card details along with my contact info., as required by the JustAnswer website. I thought this was a one time payment, and have never used the service since then.Last month while I was reviewing my statement, I was surprised to find that JustAnswer has been charging me $66.00 "monthly membership", from February 2023 onwards, until last month, that is, January ****. I have never authorized these payments.They have taken a total of $792.00 from me, and never notified me of these payments they were withdrawing from my credit card, not by email or text message either. My account was cancelled today and JustAnswer refunded $66.00 for January **** payment. $792.00 is a lot of money, for a retired senior citizen and for something that I did not sign up for.Upon reviewing the long running list of complaints on the JustAnswer BBB site, I found that I am not the only one who has been a victim of the deceptive practices.Appreciate your help in this matter and appeal to refund me $726.00.

      This incident occurred on 2/1/24. I got locked out of my mother's car (left electronic the key inside) and the doors were locked. I did a ****** search to try and figure out where it led me to just ask website. I posted my question on there and signed up where it told me it was going to be a $5 dollar charge. I briefly spoke to an agent but I was able to figure things out on my own and literally talked to him for 3 minutes as I did not need his help. The problem is that when I looked at my bank account today, I was not charged $5 ... I was charged $39. Not Cool.

      October, 2023. I purchased a *** **** TV from ******. I tried to contact ****** Consierge service. The internet transferred me to Justanswer. I was charged $1 for them answering the phone. They had someone call me back. Aftersome conversation that identified that they could not help, they said that they would hang up and I would be billed for the time they spent determining that they could not help me. I had 2 or 3 more calls from Justanswer. All of the calls were placed against my ******** Card. I am now being billed for continuing service from a company that can not help me. I have asked ******** not to pay them but there is a recurring charge on my present bill.

      I am rejecting this response because:  JustAnswer has billed several times.  I would like everything they have billed  returned to me as they never said anything except they do not respond to my complaint.  Yesterday while working with ****** on a tax program, JustAnswer was near the top of a complaint response list.  I bypassed them because I  recognized  them.  This is continuing fraud and no answers are ever shared.

      Today, February 2, **** I chatted just answer seeking a physicians help with a diagnosis of whatever illness I currently have. They proceeded to chat me back and say that I would be charged $5 for the chat with the physician. I was then charged $51 and subscribed to a monthly membership which had a monthly charge of, I believe, $70, without my permission. I was obviously extremely upset about this, so I called them to ask for a refund of which they did say was an option during the chat. The lady on the phone told me that the membership fee of $49 was not eligible for refund. So now the math isnt even adding up. Im even more mad now, so I threatened to file a complaint with the BBB and her attitude completely changed. She immediately put me on hold and when she took me off hold said that she went ahead and canceled my membership and refunded all my money. I got a text message confirming the refund and an email. This company is a joke.
