I asked a question regarding tax on Just Answer website on Tuesday Feb. 27, 2024. I paid $2 + $40 membership fee at that time. The only reason I agreed to pay the $40 membership fee was because it says on the payment page that the fee can be refunded if membership is cancelled within the first 7 days (a 7 day free trial). I had two experts that answered my questions. However, I find the answers not very useful since the answers was either wrong or nothing more than what I already found on the internet. Therefore, I cancelled my membership on Friday, Mar. 1, 2024. However, when I cancelled the membership, JustAnswer did not indicate I will get a refund of my $40 membership fee as promised on the payment page (fully refunded if cancelled within the first 7 days). It only stated that I will not be charged for my next month membership. When I try to contact support and indicated I want a refund, the ** told me all supervisors are busy.

I had a problem with **************** 365 and my ****** search took me to Just Answer. I thought this was a ********* technical support site and the $1 charge to my credit card was just to confirm my subscription. I was prompted to ask my question and received a completely useless response. Subsequently a $65 charge appeared on my credit card. I was not to my knowledge or understanding advised of this fee.

Date of transaction: 03/01/2024 On this date I contacted Jus Ask (Ask Lawyer on call) with the intention of getting help with an issue related to may landlord. The website indicates that a charge for $5 will be made to access their service. But after all they charged me an extra $46.00. They put me in touch with what seems to be a bot, asking generic questions, but nothing specific. They were supposed to recommend a local lawyer so I can explain my case. None of this happened and they still charged me. I feel like their way of conducting business is deceitful and missleading.

I asked a question on Just Answer and didn't receive a satisfactory reply and didn't realize that by signing for $1 Just Answer would enroll me as a member for a monthly fee of $55. I want my $55 refunded to my credit card.

I was told I would be charged $5 for the service for my question. Nothing was stated about the additional $46 membership fee. I tried resolving this with the company to no avail. They have rectified this same issue with other users online but were not even concerned with what I was telling them. I agreed to $5 but not $46. I am looking for a refund of the $46 portion of the bill. I have already cancelled the membership. I wish I had read the complaints beforehand but they appeared to be legit when they actually were deceptive.

3/1/24 I contacted this service to help resolve a problem with my landlord. I thought I was paying a $5 signup charge and if any additional charges were to be added it would be clearly indicated. I was referred to a chat line and after a lengthy description told Id be sent to a lawyer. After waiting for said lawyer to join the chat I hit some prompt on screen and a screen appeared saying to download the app for faster responses. I did so and was finally joined by someone who asked a couple questions regarding my previous lengthy description. I answered them and received no further feedback. A couple attempts were made inquiring if Id be receiving any responses-none.

I found this site to.ask a legal question. It was offered as a $1 for a first time question. I was charged $5 and a $60 monthly membership fee that I was never asked or told I would be charged. I called customer service to be told they do not issue refund and was hung up on by all the reps and promised a manager would call me which of course they didn't. It's not right to charge people and enroll them in a membership without making them aware.

February 25, 2024 at about 8pm. I clicked on what appeared to be a Spectrum link to inquire about internet service outages in my area. Was connected to an answer service. Was asked to input credit card with the understanding that $1 would be charged but refunded later. After doing this it became clear this was not Spectrum. Within 30 minutes a charge hit my credit card for $46 in addition to the $1. I received an email welcoming me to their "service". Within that email it gave instructions on how to cancel "membership". Didn't know I was a "member". I immediately cancelled. All this was within one hour. I contacted the ********** office and spoke to a rep. who assured me I had cancelled. Even so, the charge remains. I hope this scam can be exposed. I noticed a class action lawsuit was filed and the company found guilty. If I could join this, I certainly would. This type of deceitful business practice should be exposed and those responsible should be criminally prosecuted.

I didn't ask for the whole service. I was under the impression it was for $2.00. I looked into my account later that night on Feb 29th. They went into it and removed $ 66. That I didn't consent to.

Session ID ************ 2/17/2024 As expressed on your site's Chat column I was dissatisfied with your Technician and his generic solutions. I have attached images of portions on your Chat dialog where I state I no longer wish to use this service, and will cancel. Subsequently, your Chat person insisted he/she could provide another Technician. I agreed to try as long as I didn't receive another set of generic diagnostic/solution service. However, at this point I had been online for nearly an hour since the start. I waited another 20 mins but was not contacted by the 2nd Technician and was unable to stay online any longer, so I closed the session.I require you to provide me complete copies of the Chat dialog I conducted with your Technician. As I declined your/his offer to address my problem over the phone (what a scam fee!!) the copy of the Dialog msg provides - in writing - all the information I discussed.After cancelling, on one of your screens was a customer support / feedback entry screen, in which I detailed my dissatisfaction with your service. However, I got a response that indicated my message had been "delivered" to some non-existent address and gave no further acknowledgement of my "dispute" details.In reviewing your Refund notice "But once a question has been made on JustAnswer and its family of brands, the charge is non-refundable" you do not acknowledge your failure to deliver your website solution!!This is a dispute that I will refer to PayPal if you do not Respond nor provide the Chat Dialog screens I have requested.
