      On April 19, 2024, I called ***************** for technical problems with my ********* cordless telephone with digital answering machine. Was told there would be a $5.00 charge to speak to a technical service rep. I agreed and the rep was helpful. Received my credit card statement only to see not only the $5.00 charge but also a $40.00 charge for membership. Called the JustAnswer Company and was told that the $40.00 membership fee was not refundable. I never authorized nor agreed to Just Answer membership. Request a refund for the not authorized fee of $40.00

      I bought an Apple *************************************** ********. My understanding was that the package would contain a Sim card, but it didn't. I already owned an Apple 6 but hadn't used it in several years. But since it contained a Sim card, I thought I might be able to use that card for my new phone. I called Just Answer. Although the man I spoke with couldn't help me fit my old Sim card into my new phone, I gave him a high rating for his effort and courtesy. At no point did he or anyone tell me that I would have to pay a fee or that I was becoming a member of Just Answer, Nevertheless, while reviewing my bank statement this morning I found a charge of 55 dollars. I am asking to be refunded that amount in full.

      We initially used the service and canceled after one month. The company has continued to charge our credit card money after repeated attempts to cancel since December. We have received confirmation of cancellation and then one month later the charges show up again. We have filed complaints with our credit card company and Just Answers continues to send bills on a cancelled account.

      On May 6th I responded to an ad that said you could ask a question for $5. I clicked on this and immediately a request for CC information popped up.I figured it was for the $5 that they stated was fully refundable.I asked my question, the process with the first advisor was painfully slow so I requested to cancel as this service was not useful at all.They offered me a second advisor who was quicker but his answer was not Oregon specific.At this time I requested to cancel yet again. I looked at my cc and noticed a $55 charge. I immediately called and asked why I was charged this. As you can see from the screen shot there is no verbiage explaining that you actually will be charged $55. I started looking at reviews and saw this is a very common practice. They said I could do nothing about it. I told them I wanted to speak to a supervisor about this.Once again, they offered another advisor. While he was better than the first two, upon verifying his response I realized that the information he offered was incorrect.Three attempts and three wrong answers.I asked today to verify my account had been cancelled. They said I could ask the question but yet again they were going to charge my account.This is a bait and switch practice, and they have advisors that are not educated in the state specific laws regarding Landlord /tenant issues.This is misleading .I did not get any value for my money, in fact had I not verified this information this could have been very costly.

      In October of 2022 I had a chat with a Vet and paid $1.00 for the chat. No where was I told I would end up being signed up for a monthly subscription. My husband pays the bills and never questioned this monthly amount until today. For 19 months I was charged $39.99 for something I never used. The only emails I received was a couple in Oct 2022 about my uae od theor company for the chat and never again. No where in the emails did it mention a monthly subscription I was paying for. This company is a scam and has already been sued in 2023 for doing this same thing and had to pay put over 4 million dollars. This is ridiculous and they should be shut down.

      I inadvertently signed up for a membership fee, recurring monthly fee, and service charge.From the attached .pdf you will see it does not make it clear 'how this works'. This is false advertising. Furthermore, my bank contacted me through a message to inquire if this (*****) dollar fee was legitimate, and I answered 'no.' However today, four days later, the bank has told me that it is not fraudulent and the company was paid. I want my money back.

      I thought I was reaching out to *** on line and reached Just Answer. Within a minute I realized this was not the **** They misrepresented themselves and I did not respond to the on line once I realized this was not the *** but somehow a third party. I have all my emails when they kept saying are you there. They continued emailing me to speak with them which I did not.I then saw on my account of a $55.00 and called ******* to investigate and dispute this charge. Please help so I can be reimbursed this $55.00 charge. This company is a Fraud. This is awful that they take advantage of people. I have no need for their service.Thank you I was never so shocked

      Sunday 05/19/24, I inquired about a legal question after chatting with a bot it stated it would connect me with a attorney that could assist me with my question. The bot stated there would be a $5.00 dollar charge to connect sent me a link uploaded my credit card info after I chatted with the attorney I cancelled my membership same day. JustAnswers charged my card ***** dollars you can keep your $5.00 I agreed to and refund me ***** dollars.
