      Yesterday, August 22, 2014 I was tracking a purchased product and got panic when I saw that it was delivered 9 days ago, at the bottom of that page there was an option to chat with online expert 24/7 and a technician will answer your question, I thought this is a service with the delivery company so I wrote my question. They answered me that a technician will answer my inquiry but I have to pay only $2 that are fully refundable, and they did not mentioned anything about any other fees or monthly membership. I entered my credit card info (for only a refundable $2 as they said). when I reviewed my bank account after that I found a transaction of $66 + $2 by justanswer.com. When I inquired about this weird transaction, I received an email that I agreed to join monthly membership (which never happened). I replied to this email that I never consented to join monthly membership, but they refused to refund me. I did some research about this company, I found that many other people got scammed same way. I went today to their website and cancelled this membership that I never consented for to avoid further monthly withdrawal. Please help to get my refund.

      I was looking for information in regard to asking the *** questions. One of the first sites that appeared was JustAsk. I mistakenly thought this was a part of the ***. The issue with JustAsk is - the site asked for $5 refundable fee to ask a question - to see if it made sense. They wanted a credit card number for the $5. I filled in the information. I got to ask a question. I did not get a satisfactory response. I checked my credit card account and found they charged me $55. I asked ******* about the added money. They said I had (involuntarily) signed up for their monthly service at $50/mo. They said I could cancel but they did not want to refund anything. I cancelled their service immediately - they say I paid until September 23, 2024. Trying to contact their customer service put in a loop back to the original contact. The company is misleading in their contact information. I am seeking a refund of at least $50. They should stop their deceptive practices.

      Complaint taken in dictation by BBB rep ** 8/23/24 I have a Citibank account and my sister went into my checking account and told me ********************** is taking out money, $550 a year from the past three years. I call them number and the phone number does not work.

      During Jul,2024, they used my credit card number to charge me $38.00 each month as a membership fee?? which i never agreed to join any club they had.i discovered these charges on my **** bill and called them immediately and they cancelled my so called membership.
      This was a scam and unauthorized charge and they tried to get away with it!

      I utilized this call service when I had a pet emergency back in March. I was not aware that they were going to use my information to sign me up for a membership and charge me monthly for answering a question once!When I reached out to them, they said that they would not refund me but would cancel my "membership". Credit card billing is often delayed with certain medical items and I was not aware that was a reoccurring charge I was seeing.AskAVetOnline.com should be held accountable for its billing practices and its taking advantage of those in need during a crisis situation.

      I requested a response from my mobile phone on 7/21/2024 on a question I had. There was a notification about a $5 charge which I was fine with (especially for the 3mins of support that I received). There was NOTHING clear about a monthly $37 charge that I would be getting. They hid this information intentionally. I would like a refund of the $74.00

      I went on this site to ask a question and it said only 5.00, then it had me select an option for membership without telling me how much the membership would cost, now I have been charged $52.00 total when the sign up only advertises the $5.00 charge, I requested a refund and was told no. This practice they are using is deceptive. The link below is not what I signed up for, there was no mention of the $46.00 *************************************

      Hello, I needed an answer back on August of 2022.I googled and came across JustAnswers.com. It said if I was to pay $1 I could get an answer. I did just that. I NEVER saw anything about joining a membership program which started to charge me $28 a month. Just yesterday August 22, 2024 literally 2 years later (I NEVER paid attention to a membership charge since I NEVER do Memberships) I got a call from a scammer that tried to scam me out of money from my bank. I opened my bank account to see if what they were saying is true, and there I see a charge for $28. I didnt know what it was. I looked into it, then realized after some googling this was them charging me this as a membership fee. I have been paying for 2 years unbeknownst to me. This is theft. I NEVER signed up. I called the company up to speak with someone, and some filipino woman answer from a call center. I spoke with her. I told her what happened, and God as my witness she said This is your problem, not mine she stated she would cancel my membership. I told her let me speak with a supervisor, and she wouldnt do it. I kept trying to persuade her, and she said hold on. She was playing with me. She told me theyre busy and a supervisor would call me back on ***** minutes. NO ONE called me from that company. They STOLE money from me illegally. I SWEAR I NEVER signed a membership. I asked only ONE QUESTION. They said pay the dollar and thats it. I want my MONEY BACK!!!! I never in my life came across a site that does this. Should be illegal. Please HELP

      I am rejecting this response because: I NEVER saw a monthly membership option. I would NOT sign up for this option to ONLY as ONE question. For that one question, you charged me unknowingly $28 a month for 2 years. I need my money back. This is a SCAM. I understand I should have checked my bank statement, but I have NEVER checked it since I NEVER sign up to memberships. This is NOT right. I need a full refund, or I will just take this to court. I understand you might go and show a screen shot showing what it says when you ask a question that it automatically signs you up for a membership which again I NEVER saw, and apparently the other THOUSANDS on here. I will print out all of them saying they NEVER saw that either. I dont want to keep wasting my time. I NEED all my money BACK!!!!

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I still have NOT received my additional $336 refund that that was promised to me. They told me to send them my ****** address which I have done, and still nothing. This is a copy and paste of the email I received below stating this.

      Your refund request is not within our policy, but in the interest of maintaining goodwill, we are willing to provide a manual refund as a courtesy ($336). Unfortunately, because these remaining charges are more than 1 year old, we do not have the means to quickly refund them back into your bank account. You'll need to decide which method of refund will best suit your needs.

      1) ****** Direct Transfer: We will need your ****** email address and the first and last name of the account holder. Estimates for payment are up to 10 business days, but typically these payments are completed within one week.

      2) Direct Wire Transfer: We will need your Bank Account Number and Routing Number, along with the full name and address of the account holder, and the full name, address, and branch number of your bank. The estimated time for this method of payment is around 10-15 business days.

      3) ACH/Direct Deposit: We will need your full name, ACH/direct deposit routing number (9 digits, not your wire routing number) and bank account number.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and after so much back and forth they sent me all my money back.

      For a business to automatically enroll you in auto payments is ridiculous, and a kind of thievery in my opinion. They keep telling me I signed up for it, but I did NOT. I asked ONLY ONE question. Look at all the BBB Complaints. They should turn this option off. They know what theyre doing. NOT everyone will see it in their bill and complain like we did. This company should get a F rating for how they talked to me, and what they made everyone, including myself to go through to get their money back. SHAME

      I was having problem with my ******** beach multi pressure cooker went I the site for ********************** came up to chat about the problem they told me it was going to be 5.00 dollars they never mention any thing about a membership when the technician finish they said it would be nice with we were happy with we could give a tip to technician and I was generous to give 8.00 dollars the day or two went I my bank and they took the five dollars and ***** I couldn't figure out why they took the ***** dollars when I call they refused to refund my money this company is a scam even after I told to return my money they took another ***** dollars today I very angry they take advantage from people in time of need shame I them.

      I went to ************* to get lawyer information. I saw $5.00 fee so I charged credit card for $5.00. Meantime, I received a text message from my credit card for $66.00 fee so I did not even use it asked for the lawyer that i wanted to ask. I did not use it at all and charged for $66.00 on my credit card on August 22, 2024. They are cheater and scam website.
