I am filing a complaint regarding Slacks workspace "exit" policy. Currently, users cannot leave a workspace or delete their profiles without the direct approval/intervention from a workspace's Primary Owner. Even when a user cannot get reach a workspace owner and contacts Slack directly for help, Slack's policy merely promises to "forward your request to the workspace primary owner," effectively sidestepping the issue and trapping the user in the group. This structure creates the following issues:1. Users who join / are added to groups are unable to exit on their own, contrary to industry standards and reasonable user expectations for digital social spaces.2. Workspace owners control retention of users' personal data indefinitely, without oversight or accountability from Slack, preventing users from exercising autonomy over their information.3. Forgotten/ignored workspaces become perpetual, indefinitely-growing data repositories under Slack's control. 4. Since the Slack exit policy is both unusual and not clearly disclosed to users/workspace owners upfront, users who create/join a workspace often do so without meaningful informed consent.5. Exit requests and profile deletion requests are left indefinitely unresolved, when workspace owners prove unresponsive, unavailable, unaware, uncooperative, coercive, or simply less tech-savvy. In these cases, users are forced to "give up" without resolution.6. Abuse, stalking, coercion, predatory behavior, and harassment becomes easier and more frequent when users are forced to stay / cannot leave independently. This issue is not a technical glitch, but a systemic policy choice, which I believe is ethically problematic and misaligned with user expectations compared to peer platforms (e.g., Discord, REMOVEDWorkspace, Meta, etc). I request Slack immediately implement a self-service option for users to exit workspaces and delete profiles (especially non-workplace groups) without requiring approval of a workspace owner.

I am filing a complaint against Slack Technologies, LLC for failing to protect my personal information. I was invited once to a workspace called REMOVEDon June 19, 2025, by REMOVED. Believing this to be a legitimate workspace, I submitted sensitive personal information, including my government-issued ID, phone number, and email address.REMOVEDshared my personal information without my consent with a malicious individual in REMOVEDwho used it to harass and blackmail me via WhatsApp. I reported the abuse to Slack, but they failed to take timely action to protect my data. The workspace was suspended only after I reported it, but the damage had already been done.I am seeking accountability from Slack for negligence, breach of privacy, and emotional distress caused by their failure to safeguard users and respond appropriately to abuse reports.

I am trying to cancel my Slack Pro subscription through Slack technologies. I have attached an email where I contacted their customer service team and the customer service employee of Slack refused to help me cancel the subscription despite me providing him the receipt with all the information necessary to cancel. I am trying to cancel the subscription to avoid future charges and Slack is refusing to cancel the subscription. I have no ability or way to cancel the subscription except through them as the company that provides the subscription. I believe their refusal to cancel the subscription is illegal.

On 10/12/24, I signed up and paid for a private REMOVEDon Slack called REMOVED. The group is supported by Slack. The Nerdville REMOVEDwas founded and managed by REMOVEDalong with his sister, REMOVED. I was charged $2,300 to join this group that promised to earn me over 3 million REMOVEDMembership Rewards points through REMOVEDPlatinum (Personal and Business) cards and credit card referrals with bonuses. REMOVEDof Encino, REMOVEDguaranteed that the REMOVEDMembership Reward points earning methods that he perfected would also earn me 3+ million points. I paid him and REMOVEDa $2,300 fee for admission into their group that was sponsored by REMOVEDand did not receive what I paid for. REMOVEDpromised that his group was sponsored and sanctioned by REMOVEDand the credit card bonus referral links were directly sent to him by REMOVED. Its unfair and unscrupulous that REMOVEDwould support and sanction the REMOVEDand not back up the membership rewards earnings claims. His credit card bonus application links and referral links via REMOVEDdidnt earn me the bonus points that were promised. I am asking that Slack intervene and get my money back from this group, Nerdville Miles that is facilitated and supported by Slack.

Was not notified before the charges which automatic renewal laws require REMOVEDis refusing to provide my $700 refund - I didnt authorize the charge - they did not have me sign anything before upgrading my account I will pursue REMOVEDof reimbursement if you dont reimburse me. My email is provided.
