1 starI am a combat veteran and have had appointments through QTC since May of 2021.
A freak snow storm hit Idaho in May and I was 10-15 minutes late for an important exam that would determine eligibility for a disability. I explained that the road conditions were terrible during the white out snow storm and the QTC contracted business denied me. They also cancelled any future appointments through them since I was late to that appointment.
Keep in mind that I work full-time and have to take vacation days to make these appointments.
QTC also cancelled my appointment in December, last minite and I already took the day off (using a vacation day).
I took another vacation today to make it to an appointment, they failed to make it clear whether the appointment was Pacific Time or Mountain Time. Because of this, I was 30 minutes late to an appointment and they were going to turn me away again. I asked if they could get me in and they spent more time trying to figure out if they could squeeze me in rather than doing the exam that only took 8 minutes.
Another appointment I drove over 70 miles to get to and the establishment was difficult to find and the quality of care was questionable.
Businesses like QTC are supposed to work with veterans, yet I always walk away from them feeling like they are against us. You wonder why veteran suicides are so high and yet you still offer this type of "help".

1 starI am not a veteran. QTC keeps calling me saying they have an appointment for somebody whom I don't know. They obviously have a wrong number. They call nearly every day, and they text me, too. I have told them three times they have a wrong number; all they say is "Just block the number." Well I do, but somebody else calls from a different number! When I asked another person, why can't they just change the phone number for the person they're trying to reach, and they say they can't do that. WTF??? I have a feeling these people are all sitting at home in their pajamas, being paid to cold-call people to drum up business. THIS IS REALLY ANNOYING! 1 starThe first time i dealt with QTC it was a breeze the lady was so easy to deal with and very informative and helpful and fast at her job.. I had to set up another set of appointments and had to deal with QTC again yesterday. I was left a voicemail and it sounded like the person was new to the job just by the voicemail. So i called the number back and I was on the phone for almost 40 mins. The lady was extremely slow at scheduling the appointments and then at one point in the middle of scheduling a diff appointment went all the way to the beginning to go over the last three appointments i already pre set.. At this point i was frustrated because it was too easy to schedule these and there was no reason we had to go to the very beginning in the middle of scheduling an appointment. Then i asked if she could send me a link for the QTC website and her response was "i will try"... I hung up and called back and asked to have a different person over my appointments. I was really nice about it as well the second person tried to be snippy with me and tell me the previous person scheduled everything.. I replied no she didn't and then she took a look and seen she hadn't.. Let me tell you it seems like places are just hiring anyone... like i said the very first time i ever dealt with QTC the person was AMAZING fast at her job and efficient at it as well. 1 starI'm not having success with this company setting up appointments and providing transportation. This is the second time. When you call them be prepared to stay on hold and get transferred from one unknowing person to another. I started writing down their names and ID# after one of them hung up on me. None of the representatives will call you back and they will lie ,lie,lie. I wish the ********** of ******* Affairs would investigate these organizations first. I take 9 pills a day for anxiety and QTC, makes me feel terrible. DOD please investigate this organization.Leidos QTC Health Services

Today is 22 February 2023 and QTC has set up the appointment again for the third time and once again they did not set-up the transportation for tomorrow's appointment. This organization does not have their act together at all. I'm totally disappointed.Review fromprecious g

1 starThey are horrible for veteran's claims! They never call to speak to the veterans how can you say migraines have gotten better without speaking to me? Considering my primary doctor doesn't even see me anymore because she could no longer help and had to send me to ******************* who now prescribes all my medication and rated me to 0 when I get migraines 4 to 5 times a week! Your services are horrible and Veteran Affairs needs to stop doing business with you!Leidos QTC Health Services

1 star********************** beat me out of the parking lot! It was at that point I knew my ******** would not be decided in my favor. I was stopped in the middle of explaining my condition and was told that's all I need. I went into the exam expecting help but ended up feeling more lost and depressed than before I went. The Va needs to investigate all the negative reviews. such a shame Vets can't get the right help.Leidos QTC Health Services

1 starWhere do I start??? QTC sounds professional, send professional put together paperwork, and also does follow up phone calls prior to your appointment date... With that being said.... I was scheduled for an appointment Dec 7, 2022, at ****. I was enroute and at **** I received a phone call saying, "the doctor had an emergency" and the appointment has to be cancelled. Ok I get it stuff comes up. So, I have taken the day off already, and brought my kids to get their ID cards. I get a call from QTC at **** asking if I can come into my appointment, that the Doctor "was able to make it in". WTF.... What emergency only lasts 10 minutes? QTC scheduled me another appointment for Dec 14, 2022, at ****am a different issue and scheduled me 100 miles plus from my HOR. I am upset about it, but I will **** it up and go. I leave early in case of traffic and arrive at 10:20am. I get called back within 5 minutes of being there and QTC said that they have to reschedule my appointment for a later date, because the doctor's systems are down. I am hot at this point they said they knew "30min" before i arrived. Then QTC asked if i wanted a tele-conference. I said what do you mean, I thought it had to be in person, and QTC replied "no, you can do in person or a teleconference. That I should had been asked what i preferred". I was like no... I was told in person and the closest place was 100 plus miles away. Why the **** does the VA contract out this company with so many bad reviews??????Review fromDevin C

1 starThey cancel appointments without informing you, but then give you issues when you need to reschedule. They send you about 5 pieces of mail per appointment for no reason because it's the same information. I don't have much sick time and I can't afford to take time off of work when I need the money.Review fromTodd S

1 starI received mailed correspondence from QTC regarding my ******** on Nov 26, 2022. It was dated Nov 21, 2022 and postmarked the same day. the letter I instructed me to be available for a phone call from a QTC medical provider on Nov 21 at 6:00 PM. This is not "short notice" but "no notice" of an impending phone call for my ********. Today I called the QTC point of contact in the correspondence and talked to a QTC customer representative. The support I received was less that satisfactory. I was advised that the claim was returned back to the VA because the medical provider either didn't need to talk to me or I didn't show up for the phone appointment. The QTC representative, besides being short and dismissive, could not tell me if an attempt was made to contact me or not. I feel that if an attempt was made to contact me then it was important that I have an opportunity to speak with them. I feel that his interaction between me and QTC is completely unsatisfactory. I'm not expecting QTC to respond to this review, as clearly, they only respond to complementary ratings. This company is nothing but a scam on the VA the veterans and the taxpayers that fund it.Joseph W

QTC has not contacted me with this response. I received a one sentence "apology letter"email from an employee a few days after submitting this complaint. This company is paid by the taxpayers and is trusted by the Veterans Administration to advocate between the veteran and the bureaucracy of making health claims with the Veterans Administration.
