I placed an order on the mobile app to the wrong JIB by mistake. I decided it wasn't a problem, I would contact the *** I ordered from and have them cancel my order and I would reorder at the one I thought I was ordering from instead. I placed my order at 3:33pm and immediately contacted the *** I wrongly ordered from and it is 4:42pm now and they have yet to pick up the phone. It says right on the receipt to contact them if there is a problem with the order, but they will not pick up the phone, it is ridiculous. Meanwhile, I am out $18 and ended up with no food because I used my funds to place the original order and was not refunded, and zero support from any of the *** employees at the store I wanted to order from in the first place. And, to top it off, I used an offer (2 Spicy Chicken Sandwiches for $10) and now I lost the ability to use that offer due to this issue. This is unacceptable, I want my refund ASAP.Business Response

Jack in the Box HQ is closed today. This morning, 3.31.25, I decided to go to Jack In The Box to get breakfast instead of making it because it is my day off. I ordered two orders of the 3-piece french toast sticks off the value menu for $2.99 per order, but when it rang up as $3.49 per order, the cost on the breakfast menu side I later saw, the employee told me the menu board was wrong. When I asked her to adjust the price to the one on the value menu, she said she could not because it was in the computer that way. I told her that what she was doing was against the law, charging more than the price shown on the menu, to which she said again that she couldn't do anything because that was the price in the computer. I took a screenshot of the menu board, as she said someone was going to come out there right now and change it. I told her that it didn't matter that she is breaking the law under the *** and that they need to honor the price listed on the board. She said she knew the board numbers were incorrect but she would still not be able to do anything. I changed my order to the banana french toast sticks special. When I got the order, she had put syrplup in the bag but not the chocolate dipping suace. When I asked her for the dip, she went and got out syrup that you would use in your shakes and squeezed it into one little cup, didn't even put the lid on correctly, and handed it to me. I asked her to fix the lid and to give me two in total because I ordered six pieces, to which she did, however that is again false advertising because the little chocolate sauce on the menu for the banana sticks show the little peel and tear chocolate dip, not liquidy syrup in a to-go container. Had I known that I was going to get liquid syrup used for your shakes I would have not gotten this at all. A side note, the woman who helped me was not ******* P as it states on the receipt. She had dark-hair and a spanish accent. There were only two ladies at the counter, no men.Business Response

****. 3/24/25 I made a $17.30 purchase around 12 pm on the app for pick up. When I arrived to the jack in the box on ************* and *******, I quickly realized it was the wrong location. I went in the drive thru and was told I have to call the store when I actually placed the order and they will refund me. And I was told ** have to place a new order at the correct store. I called the store I placed it at. On *************** and was hung up on. I called again someone said we dont deal with that and hung up. So I had to place another order and the correct location. I ended up having to pay another $27. Which is way higher than the other store. I tried to reach out to customer service but I am not getting anything but a generated message. I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your restaurant. So I noticed last night the app is changing your subtotal and then it is charging you tax on the new subtotal when I tried to call corporate they told me I had to complain to the app but I can't call anyone so I sent an email to them but I believe I can't be the only one who is experiencing this so I would like for you to look into it as well because it up charged me a dollar fifty for a kids meal and that was like a 25% increase from what my total should have been with no explanation about why it changed no extra fees or anything should have been added as I was picking the order up from the drive thru and all I ordered should have been less than 6 after tax turned into almost 8 dollars for a kids meal.Business Response

Hello. I visited Jack in the box today, 3/13/2025. While waiting in the drive-thru an employee was working on the drive-thru menu. I tried to order through the intercom but nobody answered. So, I proceed to the drive-thru window and explained to the employee that I tried to order, but no one answered. The employee told me that I needed to go back around to the drive-thru and reorder or come inside the store. I asked if I can talk to the manager and she told me that "she was the manager." I parked and went inside the store. The same manager who was at the drive-thru window, was now at the register taking orders. The name on her tag said ******. She made me wait a few minutes before taking my order. I felt like this was intentional. I placed my order for two caramel. She left the register to make the coffees. I tried the ice-coffee, and it didn't taste like caramel ice coffee, but like milk and water. The fries were hard and overcooked. I asked for a refund. ******, the store manager, asked me "What's wrong with the order?" "refund...hmmm." "Why do you want a refund?" I told her "that I did not like the service or the drinks." She then told me that "If I didn't like the service that I could go to another location." She took my receipt and gave it back and told me "you can go now or go somewhere else." I was so shocked! This store manager was so rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. I asked her, "how would I receive my refund, if I didn't enter my debit card?" She said "wait a few days, that's all I can tell you." I started taking the new customer order in line. Like I said, that was my neighborhood Jack in the box and I have never, never, had a problem with any of the employees or store mangers before her. This has left a very negative impact for me and I do not plan on going to this location again. Receipt attached. Thank you for time and consideration to this matter.
