    Lightstream accepted a fraudulent account application from someone impersonating me, and submitted hard credit inquiries to the multiple credit agencies. I have twice informed Lightstream that this was submitted fraudulently and demanded that they withdraw the credit inquiry from the credit agencies. They refuse to proceed in a timely manner.

    My first contact with LightStream was Monday 10 February. They promised to respond within 48 hours. They did not do so. I contacted them again on ******************************************************************************************* any case, they still refuse to resolve this matter in a timely manner. There should be no further delays before they inform the three credit bureaus that I was a victim of a fraudulent application and a victim of their own shoddy business practices (initiating a hard credit inquiry BEFORE verifying the identity of the applicant). Wating up to 30 days for them to correct their fradulent transation is totally unacceptable.

    The business continues to offer excuses rather than action. They are unable (or unwilling) to confirm whether they have withdrawn their erroneous hard credit check from the credit agencies. From all appearances (my declining credit scores) they have still failed to do so in a timely manner, and they offer no timeline to do so.

Unfortunately, LightStream has experienced situations where people have passed as LightStream employees and have used fake emails/phone numbers to reach out to individuals. LightStream will never send unsolicited emails, text messages or letters asking clients to provide, update,or verify personal or account information, such as passwords, Social Security Numbers, PINs, credit or check card numbers, or other confidential information.     The names of the 2 individuals are **** ***** and *** ******. If they are employees with ******************** they need to be both fired and charged with fraud and theft.

    On February 05, 2025 I received a call at 10:36am from LightStream lending. They said that I have been approved for $5,000 loan. They told me a loan ID ******. After listening to the details about the agreement until 11:15 about 15 min later I received another call from a different number with same area code stating they were part of the LightStream lending company and this was supposedly the account manager **** *********. He told me they were depositing $550 into my account and needed me to purchase a ******* money card, put $500 on it and call him back to relay the info on the card. The 2 checks they deposited into the account are fraud and got rejected each for $275, totalling $550 taken from the account. I am 63 years old, have diabetes and only make a little over 900 a month which is only enough for my bills. ******* ******************************************* is accusing me of depositing those checks and told me there was nothing they can do to help me.

    Somebody inquired for a loan or funding using my information and it put a hard credit inquiry on my credit and i notified both light stream and ********** . I want the hard inquiry removed from my credit that was place on 1/10/2025. Please and Thank you.

    I reached out to Light stream to acquire a loan mid January 2025. I completed this loan online and right after I completed the application within 30 minutes the application was denied. The reason was because sure they couldnt get a credit report transunion. I thought that this was weird because I have only ever freeze my Experian credit report. I created an account on Transunion snd my report wasnt frozen. I called Lightstream and I was advised they had the wrong birthday. I applied again and once again I was denied again. I applied again and I received a email which stated that my application was withdrawn. I sent a email and questioned this denial. I received a email which states that this was a duplicate application and our application was pending for pay check stub. I submitted this check stub morning of January 22nd and was denied again because of my credit m. Thats weird because my credit rating across all 3 credit bureaus is 766 to 780. No collections less 1% credit card usage. Credit history 30 years plus. I have over 500k in liquid assets and own a home worth 1M. Annual income of 120k bring home over 7k monthly. I believe this company is either a scam or doesnt know what they are doing and I want a full investigation of their practices and I will be notifying the media about this company.

    I am writing to formally file a complaint against LightStream due to their refusal to refinance or lower the interest rate in my current loan and the poor customer service I received during my attempt to resolve this issue.I have been a reliable customer with a flawless payment history, consistently making all payments on time. Despite this, the company declined to discuss or offer any options to lower extremely high interest rates of *****%. Given the current economic conditions and inflation, I can no longer afford this rate long term. I approached the company seeking a fair adjustment to ensure I could continue making payments for the next three years withiut adding additional time or interest to the loan.When I attempted to call LightStream customer service, I wa rudely met with a dismissive response: "We don't change interest rates; you can only add additional interest to your loan and extend the loan." This lack of empathy and unwillingness to even discuss alternatives was not only unprofessional but left me feeling unsupported as a loyal customer who has already paid a significant amount of interest to date.I believe it is reasonable to request a conversation about lowering the interest rate to prevent defaulting on the loan. I am seeking the Better Business Bureau's assistance in facilities a resolution that allows for a fair adjustment while ensuring the loan terms remain manageable.

    hello I'm emailing because I had filed for a loan and I think someone in your company or someone is calling people and saying there approved for the loan asking for the bank info and then calling back asking what they have in the accounts as well if you don't have any money they are saying they can put ****** but that would have to be sent back so I'm saying this that it is scam and I'm reporting this company to the better business Bereau and to *** cause I am in law enforcement and they try to scam me here are the numbers they are calling from ********** **********

    LightStream has conducted a hard credit pull when I have not applied for a loan or any services with this company. In doing so, it has caused significant damage to my credit report. This happened on 10/31/2024. I did not give permission for anyone at this business to do this. I believe they got my information unlawfully when I was searching the web. I have just recovered from previous fraud on my credit report, and I must have this inquiry cleared immediately. I have called all the phone numbersd provided for LightStream and I cannot conenct to a person. The email online is not correct. This information is listed on my credit report: LightStream ******************************************************************************************************************************. I am requesting that this issue is resolved right away with the assistance of the corporate office to eliminate extra time and effort via mail. I need to speak with a live agent and I hope the BBB can help me,

    Today December 3rd I received a call claiming to be from lightstream saying I was approved for 2500 and they needed my password and username to my account to deposit the money they stated they would deposit a first amount first then I had to send it back for the next deposit I have since changed all my information since it did seem like a scam to me
