    I was contacted by ***** from Light stream telling me that I had been approved for a loan. I bank online and he said that he could not deposit the money into an online account. So he suggested that I get a check from ************** He told me that I would have to make a deposit of $180 from an **** gift card. Then after I sent him the details he told me that the banks were closed so I would have to make another $200 deposit in order to get the funds tomorrow. I then called the company directly and spoke to a *********************** who said he was the manager and not to talk to anyone else. He told me that because I live in WY that I would have to pay taxes on the loan of $200 from another **** gift card. I am extremely worried that I have just been scammed. I am sweating like bullets and praying that I have not been scammed. I am still waiting on the phone for the outcome.

    I was applying for a loan online! This person contacted me! *****************! he was from Light stream said that I was approved for the loan! I needed to go and sign documents! So I signed the documents online he called me that I was approved for $3000 after I signed the documents, he said that my credit score was low and you have to have a fico score of 770 or higher! In order to get the loan! He then said that they want to give me the loan! they wanna help me so in order to give me the loan I would have to cover the $450 for insurance coverage since they were giving me the loan and my credit score was low! So I paid the the $450 he then said it will be in my account within 30 minutes once I paid the 450 of insurance coverage! It wasnt in my account I called back! Talked with ***************** he said, OK let me check so he went and checked and he said oh OK I will get back with you. He got back with me maybe hours later he said that the reason why the loan wasnt in my account is because it was on hold by the *** and in order to get the loan into my account I have to pay the taxes and fees that is holding my loan! I was skeptical then I said, what do you mean then he sent me something supposed to be from the *** and said as soon as I pay the fee and taxes my loan will for sure be released! So I finally paid it! When I got paid I sent $315 so I paid it! he said OK it be in your account within 30 minutes for sure I said OK I waited an hour! Sill not in my account! So I called back I said sir this is crazy no loan still you have promised me that after I paid my fees and taxes to the ***, my loan will be in my account He said, OK I will give you a call back. Let me see whats going on. He calls me back maybe an hour or two later and thats when he tells me that its not going into my account because of my credit I need to boost my credit score up it low! Wanted me to pay $375 to boost my credit I said no cancel I just want my money back He refused to give me back my money!

    I contacted Lightstream because there was an error on the auto draft and account became late past 30 days. I explain the whole situation to them and they ensure they would do right to help me as I been a customer over 7 plus years. I have exceptional credit and now it is destroyed by this company who refuses to help me in any way. I have sent multiple emails and have had no resolution to removing the late charge from my credit.

Once an account becomes over 30 days past due, the delinquency will be reported to the credit bureaus. The delinquency remains valid and cannot be removed.

    My loan was paid off early as of 6-20-23. I have auto withdrawal and payment was taken out. I never received an email stating it had been. I received one every month with auto withdrawal. I called and was advised it would post on the 21st. It did not. I emailed a total of 4 times so far; I have spoken to a supervisor; spoken to regular CSR. As of now they are saying it did not withdrawal. Well I have proof it did. I emailed as I was advised by supervisor. I was told did not get it. I emailed the proof again. And now told they cannot accept email that I needed to fax. Now I have done that. I was advised there was no way the payment was withdrawn from my account; this was by their supervisor. It was I sent proof from my bank statement. I have never missed a payment. Paid off early. Now they do not want to close my account. I want this account closed. It is paid in full. I have sent proof 3 different times. Someone there has the payment. I do not know who that would be their responsibility. I should not have to be doing this for a resolve.

    I applied as a cosigner on a loan with my sister and was declined because they went off her credit instead of mine after saying they would go off of mine as the cosigner. They told me to reapply by myself. I did and it was approved. They sent me the approval email on May 11th. They told me to fill out the funding info then sent me an snail saying it would be fine on May 16th and when the first payment was due. I signed the loan agreement and everything, then they sent an email saying to call them. And i did. Then they sent me another email saying to call them and I did. They said everything was good and they would call back if they had any questions when funding. Then they kept sending emails asking me to call and I would call and they didn't know what I was talking about But they sent probably 20 today but didn't do anything when I called. Tonight they sent me a request for documents, then immediately sent me a denial letter. All the reasons they "denied" it are false and I will attach the screenshots proving it. Also they approved me 6 days ago. Why are they declining today?? They did not do their part at all. My credit score is 809 so there's no reason for them to do this. I want this taken off my credit report. The hard hit needs to be removed ASAP

When submitting an application with LightStream, there is a disclosure at the end of the application that each applicant is required to acknowledge. By selecting the "Accept and Submit" button, the individual applying authorizes LightStream to obtain a consumer report to be used in the evaluation of their application. This disclosure confirms that the individual applying authorizes LightStream to pull the credit history in order to make a credit decision. Therefore, we are unable to have the hard inquiry removed from your credit report.

    I tried to get approved for a loan through LightStream that is owned by Truist, who I have my business account and personal account through to purchase a jdm vehicle because they are the only ones that approve a loan for such an old vehicle and supposedly do it as a personal loan.. I have almost an 800 credit score, show ******* a year in income and got denied.. they said it wasnt based on credit score but credit history and my credit history is phenomenal.. they are total liars and a bull s*** company.. they want to finance people that dont make a lot of income for a long term so they can make a ton on interest obviously. I want someone front this company to personally call me and justify my denial/ whatever bull c*** they make up

    On July 6th I spoke to a company identifying themselves as light stream loan company and they told me I was approved for a $**** loan. But they needed to verify my bank info so they would need to make two deposit one for $840 that I must return first before they deposit my loan of **** right after but something about that sound real fishy to me. Is this how they do their process. They asked for banking info which I know they need to transfer money but right after the call I changed all my passwords and information please someone tell me is this legit because they are trying to do this by tomorrow?
