    Dear ***/*****,For the past 3 years I have been getting emails from Lightstream intended for someone else. I have contacted them on multiple occasions that they are sending confidential emails to someone that shouldn't be receiving them and they are doing absolutely nothing to rectify the issue. They continue to send me monthly emails regarding amounts paid etc and every month I email back to let them know the issue.Kind regards,**************************************

    In June of this year I applied for a loan thru this company after manipulating me and due to my trusting nature and using my disability aginst me rhey took my entire social security check witch landed my autistic son in a unfamiliar place away from his mom and the stability of his home cause we could not pay our rent ******* was completely aware of the situation as he begged me not to cry and to trust him he sent me 400 bucks to send back to the company as a note of good faith and I am stupid and did as I was asked I gave him over 900 and they were finally able to give me the loan they just needed 100 more dollars and I didn't have it.. they then dropped me and my life fell apart I am now in a shelter for domestic violence and these people say .y loan is still open I just need to give them my address??? For what they don't have that? I would like help getting my money back for the loan I did not receive or the money for the loan I paid so much for thus company will not return any messages or my phone calls they stole my money and I have demanded a refund. They have ignored my requests I have threatened to take the messages and all the cash app transactions proving my claim to my district attorney but instead of seeing them I would like to come to an agreement as adults and since there a company that swears on there family's and children that they are honest. My kids have no home it was taken I have no life it was taken by these people and I want my money back

We can assure you that LightStream does not ask customers to provide any type of down payment, request they purchase gift cards, or provide personal information over the phone in order to be considered for a loan. LightStream will never send unsolicited emails, text messages, or letters asking clients to provide, update, or verify personal or account information, such as passwords, Social Security Numbers, PINs, credit or check card numbers, or other confidential information.     I got a text message saying I was approved for a $5000 loan, this individual said That in order to get a loan, there would need to be insurance in which they would deposit an amount of money into my account and have to cash app it back,and then I would receive the loan. I said no I do not want this.This is particularly scary because somehow they have my bank account information. I then got on the phone with my bank right away to inform them of the situation and my bank account was frozen. I was then told to go into the branch to close that account the next day which I did. Fast forward a few hours later And I noticed my closed is negative over $800 and these people deposited a check.My bank is looking into this. I did not send to receive a loan from this company. This is a huge scam and I can't even begin to cope with this

    Awaiting a refund check of $360.94.I sent a check overnight per Lightstream requirements on July 18th to pay the remaining balance on my loan. Despite paying the loan off, on July 20th they processed my monthly auto payment of $362.90. I am owed a refund check of $360.94. I was informed that the check was mailed on approximately August 11th and that I needed to wait 10 business days. I called back in August 25th with still no check in hand and was told they can cancel the check but I would have to wait 10 days before they would issue a new check which would again be sent via **** mail. Today is August 29th and I still don't have the check.

    Today I tried to login to my account to see the details of my loan and possibly make extra payments. No matter what I did or how hard I tried I could not login. I tried to forgot my password link and then I tried. They forgot my username link. And I kept getting the same reply over and over. (. Application information is no longer available for this user ID.) Your online loan request has expired. I tried to look for a number to call or live chat, but neither were available.

    Lightstream lending just denied a loan for me stating that "insufficient credit record".But what really happened was my credit record with Transunion is locked so asking me to unlock it they just denied me, and no way to contact them except for writing them. Take about shady? Just thought you all should know! Wait just a minute here. Got their number from you all saying they are in *********, **. But when I called them they stated they were closed because they are on EST not PST time now: 4:39 MST *******************

    When an application is received, we review several different items, including the credit profile, financials, debt-to-income ratio, payment history, remaining loan balances, and income compared to the loan amount requested. Based on our lending guidelines, we are unable to extend credit at this time. We pull credit directly from the credit bureaus. If you feel there is a discrepancy on the credit report we received, please contact the credit bureaus directly.

    There was an issue with my bank where it declined a monthly payment. Funds were there but my bank declined it. I immediately got an email that it was sent to collections. No chance to fix it with my bank first, just an immediate, sent to collections. I very rarely am late on payments. I found this very jarring and would never recommend them to anyone after that experience.

    On Saturday July 29th 2023 a woman name ************************* called me in regards of being eligible for a loan from a company called Lightstream. Note she gathered my personal information and bank account information. Not the company itself. After that the Loan manager ************************* called me and offered me a loan for $2000. Then said I can receive $7000. He then stated that once I paid $200 for nsurance I would receive the loan. I was told by ************************* to get a $200 **** gift card and give him the code to the card once I add money to it.Once he got it. ************************* called me back and said the U.S. Bank they claimed I was getting the loan from said since this was my first time applying for a loan from them I needed to pay another $400 fee. The next day I got two $200 **** gift cards again and sent the code to ************************* and he said within 30 minutes I will have $7600 sent to my PNC Bank. 45 minutes went by. I called ****** to Find out what's the delay. He repeated to me my bank information which was given to him initially by ************************* not from me directly. The bank information was purposely made wrong just so that ************************* can try to make it like it's my fault I gave them the wrong info. Note phone calls are federally monitored. At this ****************** claimed money was sent to another account which I talked to my bank and they said that wasn't possible cause a name has to be attached to account to transfer. At this point I know I was being scammed. I just couldn't understand how I was being scammed by an accredited company called Lightstream. ********************* ************* ********. *****. Telephone #**********. I never received the loan in my account. They fraudulently took $600 true **** gift cards from me. I got the cards and receipts. People involved with fraud. Loan manager *************************. ************************* *********************** *******************. In addition ************************* then had the audacity to ask me to send him $700 more dollars to resolve the lost of money. I refused.

    I was contacted by ***** from Light stream telling me that I had been approved for a loan. I bank online and he said that he could not deposit the money into an online account. So he suggested that I get a check from ************** He told me that I would have to make a deposit of $180 from an **** gift card. Then after I sent him the details he told me that the banks were closed so I would have to make another $200 deposit in order to get the funds tomorrow. I then called the company directly and spoke to a *********************** who said he was the manager and not to talk to anyone else. He told me that because I live in WY that I would have to pay taxes on the loan of $200 from another **** gift card. I am extremely worried that I have just been scammed. I am sweating like bullets and praying that I have not been scammed. I am still waiting on the phone for the outcome.
