The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the governments allegations, which have not yet been proven.
On February 16, 2023, The Federal Trade Commission filed a Complaint against Tek Ventures LLC, Dba Provident Solutions. Charges filed allege the business is in violation of federal law prohibiting misrepresentations regarding debt relief services by implicating that consumers who purchase their debt relief service can be out of credit card debt in 24 months or less, and/or the monthly payments for debt relief service would be applied toward consumer's debt. Also prohibiting from initiating unlawful prerecorded messages, failing to make oral disclosure required by the TSR, misrepresentations of material aspects of a debt relief service, and charging or receiving a fee in advance of providing a debt relief service.
The matter is pending.
